Wednesday 9:45 a.m. the sun kisses the blades of grass like a youngsters first smash, quick and powerful. There in a large park full of kids playing and mothers watching their children blissfully play in the park a booming base is heard from the complete other side of the park blaring Mexican rap music. To the eyes of many confused we see Khalif in park with a Mexican man and women who have several mats practicing tricking on the mats to the Return of the T by Delinquent People's.

Khalif: Yo Esse how do I do that Touchdown Aerial Twist you pulled off at that tricking event last week

The Mexican man looking at his black counterpart somewhat laughing quickly pulls off the difficult task looking as his friend and female look in amazement.

Like that homes?

Khalif: Cuz that move is stupid ill, I am trying to pull some shit like that this week coming up. I got to fight some bum ass nigga from Oklahoma City, and I am trying to pull some fly shit out to impress this mammacita over there (pointing at the girl in a joking maner)

Girl (smiling):Ayy Pappi if you want come and get. Only after you perfect that move

Khalif laughing at the girl and moments later starts in the crouched position and attempts to cork himself in the air in order to successfully pull off the move that his friend had previously performed in earlier. As he gets in mid turn he quickly hits the mat hard on his back

Khalif: Fucking shit cuz I can not make that turn right now. I think when the fucker comes through if I hit his punk ass with that shit it would send his emo ass back to the broken down building that he came in from.

Man: Dude you have to remember the first rule of Trickin' is being able to let go of that fear of being out of failing.

Khalif: You right cuz once I get rid of that and just let it go I will be perfectly straight. I mean I shouldn't have a problem with his punk ass. But plain and simple I want to be able to get this shit down pat. Every Superstar needs a celebration move to get the fans up and get their stacks up you feel me cuz?

Man :Yeah Homes, then you could finally make my hermana a good woman right?

Khalif looks at the girl with a smile face, looks up to the sky, then quickly without a seconds notice attempts the move again sticking the landing of the move. The rare sense of excitement that Khalif feels is quickly tarnished as he looks off into another zone.

Khalif sees him and good brother when they were younger play fighting in the front yard of the house in Compton with their mother calling them in for dinner. This happy memory is immediately followed to years later which immediately fast forwarded to the police showing up at Khalif's House to alert him that his brother has been gunned down several times.

Khalif coming back to reality: Fuck B'sssssssssss ya'll niggas killed my brother and as God is my witness this nigga Red Ninja might die in the ring this Monday if the refs don't stop me. Eyy babe lets get out of here, I have to go to teach in 45 minutes. Thanks for the tricking tips Esse.

Esse :No problem homes, take care and don't go to the extreme you too. Ight Alyssa

Khalif and Alyssa walk leave the park and proceed to hop in Khalif’s beat down 1974 Coupe Deville and to drive into downtown Los Angeles for Khalif’s class.

Alyssa: Papi now that you are signed professionally why are you still driving this beat down car?

Khalif: Plain and simple, a Nigga don’t get paid till the 15th of the month HAHAHA. I mean I haven’t done shiteyet Babe. They don’t owe me shit, but I owe them my life. They gave me the chance and the opportunity I need to survive out here, and once I am become the shit in this federation, we will be on the come up, but until then the beatdown ‘Lac will have to do until then. Is that cool?

Alyssa: Papi I understand, these kids are lucky that you are willing to take the time out of your training to help teach them a fun sport.

Khalif: Karate is not just a sport, where I am from being able to fight is the only way that you can make it out of the hood, ya feel me babe? I mean these kids are not only getting a skill that could help get them out of the hood, but most importantly make sure that they can survive the everyday struggle that is within the hood.

Alyssa: I understand but what was with the flipping out at the park earlier. We lost you for a second.

Khalif: You know how I get babe, when something good happens I know that evil is not far behind. Everything that makes me happy still brings me back to that day the cops came by the crib you know. Just thinking about how my big brotha the big homie was shot dead by some punk ass bloods who thought they were tough enough to cap a man walking home from his shorties crib. But it’s whatever babe, I will let it be. Besides the kids need my help let me go in here.

Khalif kisses his girl and walks in to the Karate class full of smiling faces of the boys and girls of Los Angeles.
