Monday, May 19, 2014 – 12:02 AM EST – The Forest – Old Saybrook, Connecticut

Earlier tonight, the King of Darkness unleashed hell on a family of three. I found out later, as I was disposing the bodies, that Jesse Harris, the teenage boy, was indeed sixteen. Evidenced by his learners' permit. His father, Jack Harris was 41 and a district manager for an auto parts store. The mother was 39, named Julia.

I felt terrible for that family, but as I've said and I continue to maintain, I would not try and stop him. Partially for fear of my own safety, but also because he is my leader regardless of whether I disagree with what he does or does not do.

When I finished cleaning his mess, I ventured upstairs, just in time to see Sebastian exiting the Compound. I follow him outside and he's nowhere to be seen. A thunderstorm is rolling in and a flash of lightning gives away his position. The security fences have all been removed for months now and Sebastian has just entered the forest.

I get the ominous feeling that, this nightmare of a weekend is not quite over. The forest he entered leads directly to downtown Old Saybrook. I follow him for miles. His strides are steady and deliberate. I stop every few yards to gauge his position utilizing the numerous lightning flashes that engulf the dark, night sky.

Ninety minutes later, I find myself exiting the other side of the forest with your King of Darkness nowhere in sight. I begin to wonder if I'm too late. If I have taken too much time to find my way out of the forest and onto the quiet, dark, relaxed streets of Old Saybrook. Streets that, with the King of Darkness stalking about, are no longer so relaxed. When word of this gets out, Old Saybrook will become the most terrified little town in the nation, perhaps even the world over.

I begin to walk the streets. My head jumping at every sound I hear. Hoping to catch even the slightest glimpse of the man that nightmares are made of. The man is on a war path. A path of complete and utter destruction and it's obvious, at least to me, that the rage within him has reached a point of no return, its reached a point of critical mass.

As the storm moves closer, the lightning flashes become more and more prevalent and aid in my search for him. I spot him, standing in the back yard of a small ranch style house. I begin to wonder how he knows if there are children inside. By the time I reach the yard, I have my answer. Childrens toys are scattered throughout the yard and Sebastian Duke is again, nowhere in sight.

I hear a quiet little crash and look toward the sound. A flash of lightning shows me the King of Darkness entering the back door of this small house. Quietly, I make my way onto the covered back porch and through the open door. I scare the shit out of myself by stepping on broken glass. Another flash of lightning illuminates the kitchen I'm standing in and directly in the center of it stands Sebastian Duke, staring at me through that grotesque mask. I can no longer tell if he wants me by his side, or if he wants to get lost.

He turns and heads through the doorway and I'm reluctant to follow, but still, I do. Up the steps we go and down a short hallway. Quietly, he turns the knob of a door and cracks it open, peeking inside. Before entering, he holds his pointer finger to his mouth, telling me to be quiet, then hands me rope and a roll of duct tape.

We enter the room quietly. It's the parents bedroom. He casually and quietly walks around to the side where the father is sleeping. I near the mothers side. It's hard to explain, but part of me is beginning to enjoy this. Part of me relishes in bringing about terror to the unsuspecting innocents.

Sebastian places tape on the mans mouth and the sleeping father awakes, his eyes wide in terror. I follow suit with the mother. She must sleep more soundly because she doesn't wake until I've begun hog tying her with the rope. With both parents hog tied and lying on the floor, we head down the hall to the second of the two bedrooms. Once inside, it becomes obvious that not one, but two children reside here.

They are quickly gathered, quieted, and tied before being brought into the parents bedroom. We lay the crying, terrified children on the floor. In the darkness, I take it upon myself to deliver his message.

JACOB, THE MESSENGER: “You're all scared. And you should be. For you are about to feel his wrath.”

Muffled screams from the children and the parents alike.

JACOB, THE MESSENGER: “You can not be the first...”

I look at Sebastian, then back and forth between the parents and their two little daughters.

JACOB, THE MESSENGER: “I assure you, you won't be the last.”

More muffled screams and struggling against their restraints.

JACOB, THE MESSENGER: “Mind you, it is not something he wants to do, it is merely something he must do.”

More of the same.

JACOB, THE MESSENGER: “To the parents, you will watch your children die, because he had to. To the children...”

A flash of lightning and I watch Sebastian douse them all in lighter fluid.

JACOB, THE MESSENGER: “Its going to hurt like hell.”

Without another word, Sebastian lights a zippo lighter and drops it between the two girls. Within a split second, they're totally engulfed in flames and screaming out as loud as they can. The parents try to look away, but Sebastian sits on the father and peels back his eye lids, forcing him to watch his daughters burn to death. He weeps at the sight, understandably so.

After a few minutes, the screaming turns to whimpers before falling quiet. The children are burning and have caught the carpet on fire. It inches toward the parents who continue to openly weep. Weeping for the loss of their daughters, weeping for their own lives.

It's all meaningless though. Sebastian and I stand near the door way as the flames finally reach the parents. The muffled screams return for a few minutes before both pass out from the pain. He exits the house and I follow him. We make our way to the edge of the forest, then turn to watch the house burn. It takes several minutes before we hear the first sounds of fire trucks. By then, everyone inside is dead.

We see the first flashing light of emergency vehicles and we head into the forest. I look back once more and watch as part of the roof collapses into the interior of the home.

If this is proof of anything, its that every small town in America needs to stay on their toes. In a span of under eight hours, the King of Darkness has destroyed two families and killed seven.

When darkness comes, he comes out to play. Unfortunately for his next victims, he does not play well with others. He seeks revenge. And he sees that revenge in the form of every happy little family he sees. His reign of terror has only just begun.

Fade to Darkness.
