JOEY STYLES: “We're back and we are on the brink of a major bombshell here! Tony Santos claims he is in Boston and if he does not show up here in Dallas, Paul Heyman has informed him that he will be fired!

“That, Madness Maniacs, take us to the final voting results of the evening. Paul and Mr. Eldred gave you all the opportunity to vote on who you'd like to see challenge Theo Pryce for the King of the XWF crown, or chain, or whatever. The losers of that vote would compete in a triple threat match.

“Let's take a look at how you voted!”

John Austin 17% Tony Santos 17% Griffin MacAlister 33% Mystery Opponent 33%

JOEY STYLES: “It's a tie! Griffin MacAlister and a Mystery Opponent are tied at 33 percent of the vote!”



Heyman appears on the X-Tron.



PAUL HEYMAN: “I'm going to make this short and sweet! This triple threat match will obviously include John Austin and Tony Santos, however, with Tony not here leaving him unemployed, that leaves it as a one on one match between John Austin and Griffin MacAlister!”



JOEY STYLES: “There you have it! Santos is no longer employed by the XWF and Heyman made the ruling that MacAlister will enter this match with John Austin and the Mystery Opponent will face The Pryce a little later!”

”Hellraiser” by Motorhead plays.

JOEY STYLES: “Here comes the former United States champion, John Austin! Ready to go, as always!”

”Avenues and Alleyways” by Rancid plays.

JOEY STYLES: “Here comes one half of the tag team champions, Griffin MacAlister! OH SHIT!”



Joey Styles is reacting to the burst of flames that have cut off MacAlisters path to the ring. The lights fade out and Beethoven can be heard.



JOEY STYLES: “Sebastian Duke, undoubtedly taunting Griffin MacAlister here!”



Sebastian Duke appears on stage. MacAlister, having that instinct when a threat is nearby, turns to face him. The flames on the ramp disappear. Duke takes a step forward in the darkened stadium. MacAlister stands his ground.



JOEY STYLES: “From behind!”



The lights come on and Beethoven fades out as a massive man attacks Griffin MacAlister from behind. He drops his tag team title in the process as the large man continues to beat on him mercilessly.



JOEY STYLES: “That's Steve Davids!”



Davids picks MacAlister up like a rag doll and slams him down on the steel grating of the ramp with a double handed choke bomb. Sebastian Duke then moves in and grabs MacAlister by his long, shaggy hair and rips him back to his feet. Duke lifts him up and drapes him over his shoulder. Duke drives MacAlister into the tag title belt with an inverted sit out piledriver. (Sit out Tombstone piledriver.)



JOEY STYLES: “My God! There is no way MacAlister can compete now! He might have a concussion after that piledriver!”



Duke retrieves a microphone from his cape and lays on the ramp next to the unconscious Griffin MacAlister.



SEBASTIAN DUKE: “Darkness Falls for thee, Griffin. I told you, wherever you go, I'll always be right there behind you.

“Watching.

“Waiting.

“Stalking.

“Real soon, MacAlister, you and I will have to settle the score, once and for all.”



Duke stands up and tosses the mic. He motions for Davids to toss him into the ring. Davids does as requested.



JOEY STYLES: “Darkness Falls for Griffin MacAlister!”



Duke and Davids make their exit.

A ring crew man brings out a card board cut out of Tony Santos and slides it into the ring. The bell rings and John Austin covers Griffin and the cardboard cut out of Santos.
