The scene is set in old times in a world distant from the one that we know as ours. A place known as "Earthrealm". Currently, there is a war going on, The Hanzos vs. the Lin Kuei... And one member of the Lin Kuei.... he goes by "Sub-Zero"..... Viciously Sub-Zero rides through the village easily, being a ferocious man on horseback, he quickly stabs his way through all the imposing, defenseless villagers. One child, Hanzo, watches as his parents, his brothers, his sisters, his cousins, his friends, die at the wrath of Sub Zero, and he was next. Soon, when Zero killed him... Well... Hanzo was sent to the underworld in NetherRealm... where he vowed revenge on those DAMNED Lin Kuei... And one man.. Offered him his life back in exchange for the death of Sub Zero? How could he say no?

Hanzo dawned a new name... Scorpion.

Scorpion, the undead soldier, fought with all his might in the first Mortal Kombat tournament, a tournament in which the Elder Gods hold where much is at stake. Scorpion lost to Sub-Zero.

Being given another chance, he tried again, being reborn again by the powers of the evil and twisted sorcerer... Quan Chi. This time, he fails, again. He had no more chances.

But

When given the chance, a warp in time, in history, changed the face of everything. Scorpion had to relive all these events, but this time, he managed to defeat Sub-Zero the first time, but soon, it was revealed. Sub-Zero didn't kill his family or him. It was actually Quan Chi's sick, twisted, tricks. He was behind the deaths of them. It was all part of his plan to kill Sub-Zero! Scorpion was, and forever will be, nothing but a tool in use.
