Ballad of Mr. Radio V

Tonight is when we face our fears and take another step in taking the Centurions down. This time we won't lose anyone no matter what. I wanted to talk to all of my squad mates before we took this big step at taking The Centurions down. I walked to the Crew quarters and knocked on Gunnar Murphy's door. Gunnar answered and before I could say anything Gunnar asked me if I was ready for the mission. I raised my eyebrows because that's exactly what I was going to ask him. I walked in and sat on a couch that Gunnar had in front of his Holovision. Gunnar's room was kind of small but it was enough. He had his HV, a couch, a bed, his own kitchen, and he was good to go. Gunnar sat across from me and put his left arm on the back of the couch. I looked at him and grabbed Shawn's Dog tags from my neck. " I'm damn Ready! Gunnar, After seeing my best friend and wife get killed by those animals I am ready to kill every single one of them! Where's your head at?" Gunnar grabbed the HV controller and turned it on. The HV showed not Gado City but a smaller city on Gado. Gunnar pulled his hair back and looked at the floor. " That is where I was born. The Centurions are destroying every single City on Gado and soon they will destroy the whole fucking planet! I know where your head is at and mine is in the exact same cloud. You lost everything and so did I! Krios and now my whole fucking city!" Gunnar pounded his fists on the table and put his hand out for Radio to shake. " Let's do this Gunnar." I said.
I grabbed his hand and smirked. I patted him on the back and walked out of his room. As I was walking down the hallway and I was then confronted by Legacy. " Commander I would like to inform you that the Pylonian cloning Facility is guarded by an intelligent Centurion Brute that goes by the name of Draven. He is highly dangerous and if we were to have a confrontation with him I recommend caution." Legacy said. I shook my head and told him "Noted" then I walked down to C.I.C. because I'm pretty sure John Shetland doesn't exactly want to talk to me.

I radioed into Trent and told him to set course for Petroovia. Petroovia was not meant for Species that rely on Oxygen to survive so that means without the correct equipment no Council race can get on it. Luckily we have Masks that provide us Oxygen but for only four hours so we will have to be in a hurry. I handed Gunnar and John a mask and shook my head at Legacy. All four of us waited for Trent to clear us so we the bad air on Petroovia wouldn't get on the Leviathan. The door opened and we saw the red skies, the green mist, and the local Petroovians being fascinated with the high tech ship that just landed on their planet. The Petroovians look just like Pylonians except they have more rough skin that is a crimson color. Pylonians are a gooey orange color. We looked around and saw nothing except the Petroovians and their houses made from dark red twigs. I walked up to one of the Petroovians and attempted to talk to them. I didn't know their language, I never it because no one had been to Petroovia or left it so no one has ever heard their language. Except for out Mislan Protector we have! Legacy walked up to a Petroovian and changed his voice to talk in their language. After a few minutes Legacy walked back and told us that a few Petroovian scouts saw a strange shiny structure. That is definitely our Centurion building. John grabbed my shoulder and turned me around. He began to speak " Michael, Do you even know what is going to be in there? No disrespect to you and your leader ship skills but are you even properly prepared for what could be in there? Zeta damn sure would." I snarled my lip and I grabbed his collar " How dare you mention Zeta! you abandoned them and you continue to talk about them as if you were a huge asset to them! and saying no disrespect doesn't mean anything in this profession, It's either you respect someone or you don't." I let go of John and flagged every to stay behind me.

We walked through mucky water, some Petroovian animals, and even some giant snake things that not even Legacy knew the name of. We finally got to the Cloning Facility. It was pretty damn big, it was rounded at the corners, the windows were red, the roof was spiked, and the door was black with a ten number digit HoloLock that was obviously in Centurion Language. Legacy walked up to it and examined it until he turned around and said "I should be able to get it open in about ten minutes. Oh, and there are some Pylonian scouts coming because they heard reports of four heavily equipped units walking through the swamp." I sighed and told Gunnar and John to get ready for a firefight. We got behind some trees and waited for the Pylonians to stick their heads around the corner and all three of us took one down leaving six to go. There will definitely be more where they came from. The Pylonians began to fire back only to hit the trees we are behind. I got a few shots in and took one down but then I saw a few more squads show up. I told Legacy " How long has it been?! We really don't have much more time until more show up and mow us the fuck down!" Legacy responded "Only two more numbers and we will get through, just hold them off." I yelled "FUCK!" and shot another Pylonian. Of course Gunnar and John were hitting some too but it didn't really matter because when we took one squad down another one would just show up. I saw one incendiary bullet come flying at my tree and watched as it hit and the tree went aflame. I rolled over next to Legacy and he told me "A few more seconds and the door shall open. Here's the problem however, once we have it open we're going to have shut the door manually but luckily it won't take as long." I put my hand on my mask and backed into the door that had just opened. Gunnar and John both ran into the room and got behind a few crates that had been conveniently placed in the entrance.

Legacy ran to the next panel to shut the door and said it should take only a few moments. Me, Gunnar, and John were running low on clips so I told them to seize fire momentarily and I pulled an Energy grenade out of my armor and pressed the button and threw it at a big group of Pylonians. A giant Energy explosion disintegrated that group of Pylonians but of course more just showed up and took their places. At last the door had closed and All three of us sat on the crates and took a breath. Legacy said " Gadoians need to learn how to preserve their energy." I glared at Legacy and told everyone else to continue onward. The walls seemed to be made out of normal Centurion metal, almost like the same metal that the Aeolians use on their planet of Aeoreek. Their metal is the most fine and powerful so blowing up this place is going to be a very difficult task. First we are going to find the main computer in which the Cloning is taking place and copy the data on to Legacy's hardware, then we blow the computer up and finally we will find out how to destroy all of the cloning pods. Like I said before, This building is going to be almost impossible to destroy. We continued onward and we found weaker doors that we just push open and it was practically the entire building in this room. It looked like a factory except with red tubes flowing through the ceiling taking Petroovians into pods to clone them and turn them into Pylonians. It's really demented if you ask me. we looked around and saw two computers on each side of the room. So that means that this part is going to be a two step process. Since Legacy is the only one who can read Centurion writing he's the only one who can hack the computers. Legacy got started on the computer before any worker showed up and called in thousands upon thousands of troops. Since we had a break we all decided to look around for anything extra.

I heard Gunnar call my name to come check this out. I ran over and he showed me a bright red button and it said something above it but we couldn't tell what it said. We weren't sure if we should press it or not. It could either be something good or an alarm to sound the troops. We didn't want to take the chance so we left it alone for now. Legacy finished the first computer then an alarm went off and break time was done. We got behind some panels that didn't look too important and used them as cover. We started to kill some but all we were doing was wasting ammo at this point. Gunnar spoke up " Hey Mike I have an idea! that button. It's still blinking so that must mean that it's not an alarm and something else. I'm going to press it!" I looked over at him and told him "Are you crazy!? What if it just makes more troops show up?" Gunnar shrugged and ran over to the button and hammer punched it. A light flashed and a door began to open. A giant Mech Robot was behind it. Gunnar waved me over and I ran there dodging bullets. He told me that he thinks that I might be better at driving alien technology so he told me to hop in and mow this bastards down. Since the cockpit was already open I just jumped in the seat and pressed some buttons and it actually worked! It was a Joystick to move the Mech around. I just pressed a button and it started shooting thousands of bullets in only about three seconds. Legacy yelled out that all of the data has been downloaded and it was now time to destroy the pods. All of a sudden we heard a giant noise that sounded almost like a giant hammer smashing the ground. Something big was coming around the corner...
