Alexandra heard a knock on her door and moved to answer it. A man held out a note. She took the note and opened it, reading it over before looking back up at the man who delivered it.

"Give me a few moments."

He nodded and Alexandra ran back inside her room and grabbed a bag out of the closet, throwing her stuff inside it. Once she had all she would need, she walked back out to the hallway locked her door, and followed the man to the car that awaited outside. They travelled for a while and soon, pulled through the gates of a hidden location. Alexandra knew where she was going, and it almost felt as if she was going home.

"It's so calm here."

Alexandra spoke to the man who had come to get her.

"That it is Miss Callaway. Mr. James said that it was time for you to come home."

Alexandra looked to him before speaking softly.

"Perhaps he is right."

They stepped out of the car and her bags where whisked away to another place by a few people, as she was lead into the cabin. She had been here before, once inside she sat at the table and a glass of Earl Grey tea was brought to her. She sipped it, drinking in the warmth it was giving her. Then a voice broke the silence.

"I see your hand is better.

Alexandra knew the sound of the voice coming the kitchen. Eli walks in with some freshly squeezed lemonade in a glass with a grin on his face. Alexandra looks intensely at the man who put a nail in her hand days ago when they fought.

"Glad to see ya take me up on the invite, Miss Callaway.

"Of course I would...."

Alexandra looked at her cup of tea and then at her hand.

"Wounds heal, scars fade."

Alexandra sat her glass down and looked at him.

"Something you said stirred memories of the past. It was raining hard. I had ran away after and arguement with my fathers wife. I fell and was trapoed under a log, my leg was pinned. A figure came out of the darkness.. the figure scooped me up and brought me.. .. here."

She looks as if she was seeing it all over again.

Eli sits across from Alexandra at a small dinner table and looks at her. He's only shown some strong emotion once, and that was when he was preparing for his match against Alexandra.. looking at a painting of a Alexandra he knew long ago. As Alexandra Callaway sits across from him and begins to tell Eli of a story.. a tear falls from his left eye and hits the table.

"Go on..

She notices his gaze go to the painting a tiny necklace rested around her neck, a teardrop pendant, with a bright blue stone. Alexandra reached into her pocket pulling out that very same necklace and placed it in front of Eli.

"You were like a father to me, and still I went home. I overtime, forgot of this place. But here I sit asking for your forgiveness..."

She bowed her head looking down at the table in front of her. She couldn't look him in the eyes. She choked back a sob, a tear dropped from her eyes, falling onto the top of her shirt.

One of the biggest grins come across Eli's face. One could only wonder if it was part of his reasoning recruiting Mystica to join his Congregation to get back the one he saw like a daughter, Alexandra Callaway.

"Forgiven. Forgotten. A fresh start. A better start. Welcome home, Alexandra.

She raised her head looking at him. She saw the smile on his face.

"Thank you, father. At least I am home and will be here when you all arrive back from the wedding."

She lowers her eyes looking down at the table.

"Oh, Alexandra. It wouldn't be a complete wedding without you bein' there. Would ya come?

Alexandra smiled brightly at him.

"I would be honored, father."

She looked at her hand.

"What do you think his reaction will be? Knowing that I am here now. He... he said I was a lucky charm of sorts."

She wondered how Mystica would react to her being there.

Eli smiled at her response to joining him at the wedding.

"Mystica will have many questions, but I think he'll start to be complete. He loves you, Alexandra. That I sense.

Alexandra took a sip of her tea before looking up at him.

"At first I wasn't sure, but when he," she closed her eyes for a moment, "held me during my awakening.. something inside of me told me...he was the one."

She kept her eyes on Eli.

Arriving home at the compound, David stumbled through the woods, brushing leaves off of himself and a rather plain chiffon-styled briefcase carried in his good hand. As his hand flew over his shoulders, he stole a quick glance at the bandages adorning his wounded hand and smiled. It was the only thing he could do at a time like this. Smile.

With a cluelessness to the grounds of the moment, he walked hastily over to the cabin, having expected Eli to come by the building at one point or another. Rapping on the doorframe as he walked inside, David uttered a hearty greeting to the unseen occupants.

"Ello, ello," he said, mocking a posh Londoner accent. But upon seeing Eli and Alexandra seated at the same table, he froze, caught in the moment.

"Well, I walked into an awkward situation, it seems."

Alexandra's voice caught in her throat as she looked to the door happily. She stood and started towards him.

"David.." a soft smile crept across her face. She wanted to embrace him, to feel his arms around her. "I, I missed you."

She looked at Eli and then at David again.

"We were just talking about you."

Alexandra looked down at his hand and then at her own, before giving into the urge inside of her. She walked closer to him and wrapped her arms around him, resting her head on his chest.

As if by instinct, David reacted to Alexandra's sudden embrace with an old coping mechanism from his youth. Without even thinking, he began to recite poetry.

"Thisisthedeadlandthisiscactuslandherethestoneimagesarerai--"

He shook his head, pulling himself out of the mantra and back into reality. And for the moment, instead of reacting in his usual fashion, he found himself now with a new instinct: his arm curled gently across her back, returning the warmth of her affections.

"Perhaps not as awkward as I imagined..."

Alexandra felt his arm slide around her and his soft accent sound in her ears.

"Why would it be awkward David?"

She pulled back a little, but still staying within his embrace.

"I've come here to stay."

She hugged him again.

"To stay?" he echoed excitedly, looking back and forth from Alexandra to Eli. "So I suppose this means the rift between us all has been remedied?"

Hoping for confirmation, he held her close, momentarily lost in his own emotions, searching his genes for the right instinct; the perfect response. But in there, he found nothing but the urge to smile. And he did. Possibly the brightest smile he had ever flashed.

Alexandra smiled at the sound of excitement in his voice.

"Yes. It has. The healing process has been started, it is time for me to live once again."

Alexandra noticed David's smile, so different from his normal look. Her heart raced wildly in her chest, and she knew that he could feel it with a close as they currently were.

"I'm not going anywhere... except to the wedding and Paris for Shove, which you will be there for."

She looked up at him, her blue eyes, looking into his.

"See, David? Everything has a purpose, even when it seems to everyone you were gonna disobey in the match.. the truth has unfolded and eyes have been opened. A prodigal has returned, and love has abound.

Eli stands up from the table and looks at two people he has grown to love as his own biological family.

"I'm sure you have a bit to talk about. I'll see ya soon.

"At least, I hope you are still going to compete on my Shove It."

Alexandra looked down.

"Oh my...I still have to find a dress for the wedding....and it's tomorrow...Oh shoot."

She looked up at Mystica.. nervous at the thought of him seeing her panicked over something as simple as a dress.

"Oh, I shall be!" David replied with a light smile. "I wouldn't miss that for..."

He stalled, hoping Mystica would not surface if he uttered the phrase. But with a mental throw to the wind, he said it.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world."

At Alexandra's fussing over her potential dress, David had to step back and look down at his own attire. His usual was business casual, as it was now, decked out in a light brown suit and jacket with a button-down shirt and crimson tie. He gave a bit of a sheepish grin.

"I suppose I too should look into something more festive and formal. Where in the world are we going to find a tailor out here in the middle of nowhere?"

He found a sort of amusement in her worry. It was oddly endearing that she would be so ruffled by the idea of it all. What an occasion to be a part of, he thought. To have a date to a wedding. He'd been to many a wedding, but never with anyone other than his sister in accompaniment. Now, he had someone to bring in on his arm, even if it was within the bounds of the squared circle.

Alexandra looked him her gaze loving and warm.

"I don't know."

She bit her lip looking up at him. The thought of being next to him, to be there when Eli took his vows.

"Perhaps Eli would let us go into town in the morning. You know.. to pick something out. Maybe? I think you look handsome.. just as you are."

She looked at him, placing her hand on his chest, noticing her wrapped hand.

"Well isn't this going to be awkward...a bandaged hand at a wedding?"

She reached down honestly thinking about removing the wrapping. Her hand went to it but her eyes stayed on Davids.
