HHL: Ladies and Gentlemen WELCOME to Iceland where we bring you FIRE AND ICE!!!

Pip: I have to be honest with you Heather I expected it to be much colder here than it is.

HHL: Don't let the name fool you, Iceland is not some barren icey wasteland. It's very beautiful here.

Pip: I wouldn't go that far.

HHL: Anyway our first match of the night is coming right up. Raion Kido versus Xavier Lux!!

The arena lights turn gold as the intro of “Soldier Dream” by ROOT FIVE hits the PA.

ANNOUNCER: “And now, standing tall at 6'0" and weighing in at 227 lbs., from Osaka, Japan, “The Lion”... RAIOOOOOOOOOOON… KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!”

Raion Kido appears on stage, letting out a lion’s roar.

“Saint Seiyaaa! (Seiyaaa!)
Mezasu kiboo no iro wa
Kedakai hodo utsukushii…”

Raion spreads his arms and breaks into a bird run towards the ring, slapping the fans’ hands along the way. He slides into the ring on his belly and springs into his feet.

“Saint Seiyaaa! (Seiyaaa!)
Tsubasa wa ten wo kakeru
Erabareta moushigo no you niiiiiiiiiiiiiii!”

Facing the camera, Raion throws a one-two punch forward, his final pose as the music dies down.

ANNOUNCER: “And his opponent, standing at 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 225 lbs, from Los Angeles, California...."VENOM" XAVIER LUXXXXXXX!!!”

The lights in the building start to flicker, matching the opening riffs and drums of Disturbed's 'The Infection'.

After the intro, a brief pyro explosion goes off in the entrance and as lyrics of the song begin, Xavier Lux steps out from behind the smoke left by the pyro. He stands there sporting his newest black and green gear, which includes a t-shirt that reads "CCP Enterprises". He turns behind him and applauds as out steps "Chronic" Chris Page. They shake hands and together they head to the ring completely ignoring the crowd's reaction. Once they reach the ring area, Xavier gets a pep talk from Page and then pats him on the back as then Xavier slides under the bottom rope and into the ring he goes. He makes his way to the corner, climbs to the second turnbuckle and shows off his t-shirt again to a mix reaction from the crowd. He acknowledges a fan here and there who is showing CCP Enterprises and The Exiles their support before hopping down from the ring. He takes off the shirt, hangs it on the turnbuckle and then throws a one-two punch forward, his final pose as the music dies down.

PC: What is worse than that theme song?

HHL: I like it, its got pep. Besides, you’re being mildly racist.

PC: Oh, don’t start! Jesus, I’m gonna have to wade through so much shit on Twitter now!

RAION KIDO*
- vs -
XAVIER LUX

Standard Singles Match
Savage Rules
*Raion Kido replaces Adi Gold on House White

The bell rings and the match gets underway with Lux as the aggressor. He shoots low, presumably to scoop a leg, but then parlays that into a hip thrust followed by an arm drag takedown. Raion is quick to roll to his feet, wagging his finger at his opponent. Lux charged in, only to be met with a quick snap dropkick by Kido.

HHL: This should be an interesting clash of styles here.

Lux recovers quickly, getting to his feet and locking up with Kido. Kido gets the quick strength advantage, powering out of the lock up and fighting Lux up into a vertical suplex. But Lux surprises Kido by escaping and dropping behind him, pulling him down into a reverse facebuster as they fall! Lux covers!

1….

2….KICKOUT!

HHL: Yeah, I don’t think he should have expecting to win that soon.

PC: Well he needs to end this quickly before Kido reaches Super Saiyan Level 4!

Lux picks Kido up and body slams him, followed by a precision knee drop to his skull. Then, wrenching the newcomer up by his mighty mane, Lux tosses him into the corner, where he follows him in with a running shoulder thrust, followed by a quick DDT back into the center of the ring, He covers again!

1…

2…STILL NOT ENOUGH!

Lux goes for another cover, when Kido shoots a foot up and kicks Lux in the head, stunning him. Kido then kips up to his feet and unleashes a mighty roar to bolster his strength before settling back into a boxing stance. Lux squares up with Kido and we soon have a contest of pugilists here.

PC: Maybe somebody should tell them they’re in the wrong sport.

Kido throws out some rapid fire shots, which Lux is able to mostly block, but then an errant body shot sneaks through, doubling Lux up. Kido follows this up with an uppercut, and then another! Lux gets rocked against the ropes. Abandoning the boxing stance, Kido shoots Lux into the corner where he tags him with a high knee! Then, with a Japanese battle cry, he starts mercilessly chopping away at Lux! The fans start counting off the chops!

5!

6!

Lux counters with a thumb to Kido’s eye. A cheap shot! Kido stops his assault and Lux is able to power Kido up into a double leg take down before mounting him with a number of closed fist shots. He then wrenched Kido up to his feet and started spattering him with kicks. Kido is able to duck under a big roundhouse, only for Xavier to tag him with a spinning roundhouse. Kido goes down and Xavier covers again, or at least he thinks he does, but Kido reverses the pin attempt into a small package of his own!

2….

3…NO! Lux is out just in time!

HHL: That was a nail biter for sure. Lux needs to watch himself here!

Now quite angry, Lux blasts Kido in the gut with a front kick before leaning into the ropes for some momentum and latching on with a headscissors take down, which he chains into a headscossors submission hold! The ref gets low to check Kido’s condition, but he refuses to get up. He kicks and flails his body wildly before he’s able to effect an escape. When both men rise again, it’s at the same time and at the center of the ring. Lux goes for another flashy kick but Raion gets up and under him, suplexing him into the ropes! With a surprised cry of pain Lux bounces off the ropes and is dumped unceremoinious back into the ring. Kido stays on him, picking him up and nailing some more boxing strikes before signaling for the corner. He tosses Lux into it and forces him up to the top turnbuckle where Kido is able to successfully set up and hit the ROLLING CRASH! This drops a fan pop for sure! Kido pins!

1….

2….

3…JUST BARELY A KICKOUT BY LUX!

Kido won’t stop, he’s feeling some serious positive energy here and he plays to the crowd a bit before refocusing on his opponent. Lux has managed to drag himself up by the ropes and Kido charges him. Lux suckers him into a back body drop over the top rope and then Lux collapses into the center of the ring for a breather.

The shot cuts to the outside after Kido’s crash landing. He’s holding his head and wincing.

PC: Maybe he needs a senzu bean.

Now, Lux heads to the top rope and he signals for a frog splash to the outside! Oh my God! The fans pop as Xavier takes flight, landing a picture perfect splash! But the effort no doubt hurt both men, as Xavier pops off, holding his ribs and muttering curses. Kido took the worst of it though, as he’s silent but huddled up in a fetal position, clutching his sides.

It takes a moment for both men to rouse, and Lux does first. He lunges at Kido with a right hand, then a left, and then he attamepts to irish whip him into the crowd control barricade, but Kido puts the breaks on that and whips Lux into the ring apron instead! Kido, releasing he’s not winning this on the outside, rolls Lux in. Kido rolls in after him, stopping to plaster him with some chops on the ground before getting vertical. Kido then deftly pops up to the top turnbuckle before hitting a picture perfect twisting top rope leg drop! He picks Lux’s legs up for the pin.

1….

2….

3…ANOTHER KICK OUT BY XAVIER LUX!

But by this point, Lux looks like he’s had enough. Battered as he is, there is an acute anger in his eyes as he pushes himself up off the mat. Lux goes to kick him but Xavier sweeps his leg and then back sentons Lux on the way down. Taking a breather for a moment, Lux eventually goes to the top rope and bounds off it with an amazing shooting star press! IT CONNECTS! He covers!

1….

2….

3….YES! NO, WAIT! The ref confirms Kido barely got a shoulder up!

PC: Oh come on, there was like a milimeter between shoulder and canvas there!

Lux chews out the ref before again grabbing Kido’s hair. Kido, exhausted and bedraggled, nonetheless has the sense to try for some body shots on Lux. Lux is surprised by a couple, but finally knee lifts the hell out of Kido putting him back down on the mat! Lux looks to be going to the top turnbuckle again, but before he can reach the top, Kido is on his knees with a challenging look in his eye! Lux steps back down and draws closer to his opponent. Both men are vertical again, looking worse for wear but still more than ready to fight!

The two men reach the center of the ring and lock up. Lux get's the early upper hand but Kido is able to slowly wrestle control back and whips his opponent into the rings. Lux comes back with a clothesline but Kido ducks under it and on the return catches Xavier with a series of punches that ends with a devastating punch to the heart that Kido calls the Lightning Bolt!! Lux drops to his knees grabbing at his chest.

Kido sensing this is his moment follows the Lightning Bolt up with a knee strike to the face that sends Lux down to the mat for good. Kido kneels down, hooks the leg and covers his opponent.

The scene opens up to the town center where the PPV is located in, we see tons of people in various XWF merch heading to the arena and they see Reggie rolling his bag to the venue, and he then enters the place where he gets swarmed with the Icelandic people, he feels the love and gives them some handshakes and fist bumps as he tries to head to the locker room, then he gets greeted by an interviewer who looked like Mr. Bean in his trench coat, talking to Reggie.

Icelandic Interviewer: Hello Reggie Estrada, welcome to the venue we have custom built for the guys on the show, how do you feel about coming down to the this region of town?

Reggie: It was long flight, but I didn’t care plus, I’m second to last on the card so I had plenty of time to rest up and freshen up so to speak. It was something to behold when I landed here earlier this week or so.

Icelandic Interviewer: Well Reggie, I see you are up against three other gentlemen who are eyeing the X-Treme championship tonight, and how do you feel about them? I heard from the new articles that Marf and Bam might try to team up on you and Cage, what’s your plans in that motion?

Reggie: Truth be told, I am not afraid of that happening to me or Cage, I guess I’d have to force myself to trust someone like Cage to thwart that from happening. Overall, I know what I have to deal with, and all I care about is just beating the crap out of everyone in this match. If the fans here had voted last time on the website, I said that if I retained I will continue to push the boundaries but if I don’t then I’d say fuck the belt; and forget that I even had it to begin with.

Reggie then pulls out the X-Treme Championship out his bag, and he places it on the interviewers hands to hold, as he was struggling to hold it, he placed it on his shoulders. The interviewer had hard time to hold it, so he ended giving it back to Reggie to hold. Then he holds the belt on his hands, as he beams his eyes to the camera.

Reggie: This is what Cage, Marf, and Bam wants to take off me tonight. One of these guys think that they can hang with a man who don’t give damn about nothing, a pendejo who has a few screw loose in the head, with the stipulation of anything goes! Man, I can’t wait to step in that custom built ring, where these paying customers are going to witness something brutal and fucked up. No worse than any wars that the native Icelandic ancestors had to fight for to keep their own independence.

I might not be too aware of the history of Iceland and it’s culture, but with how cold it is out there, they have enough balls and cuchi’s to withstand what is in front of them, snow or heat. Well I know for me, this will be my first defense in over four weeks I’ve held this championship. This will determine if I have what take to take it to the other level of the game of X-Treme, I am ready for what’s to come, and if I don’t come out the winner then I promise that this belt and I will have to go our own ways like a shitty marriage.

So people of Iceland, be prepared on seeing me beating down three chumps in a basket woven in snow, because Reggie is going to come in that ring tonight looking for a battle and a fight to the death of X-Treme folklore…. REGGIE IS COMING BACK TO ATTACK!!!

Then he turns to the crowds and poses the title up in the air, as they chant his name, as he tries to move through the barrage of fans to the locker room with his stuff, as the scene shifts back to the arena.

The honeyed rasp of Atara's voice blares over the facility's PA in unison with those words appearing on the multitude of screens and displays littering the arena.

HELLO DOVES

The crowd pops and gets to their feet shouting in near total unison a single word.

OPA!

Arena lights start to pulse in time with the music and multiple vertical streams of pyro erupt across the front of stage. Strutting with purpose Atara emerges from the back taking spot centerstage atop the ramp. Posing for the camera, a wink and kiss is given to the viewers at home.

Grunge walking to the ringsteps, she climbs and stops at the top to posture again for her adoring public. Hand on her hip, the Grecian moves to the middle of the apron to blows a final kiss to the camera and enters the ring through the middle rope.

Fan favorite and three time XWF Anarchy Champion Ruby makes her way down to the ring to the delight of her adoring fans.

ATARA THEMIS
- vs -
RUBY

Standard Singles Match
Savage Rules

The bell rings as Ruby and Atara square up. These two ultra-competitive women lock up, and Atara puts the smaller of the two in a side head lock. Ruby runs towards the ropes, going for a bulldog, but the veteran Atara sees it coming and shoves her off, Ruby landing on her feet. Facing Atara she goes for a roundhouse, Atara ducks, and lifts Ruby the leg, and up into the air for a spinning German, but Ruby lands on her feet AGAIN. She hits a standing drop kick, which takes Atara down. Themis pops back up with a smirk as Ruby throws her fists up in a fighting stance.

Pip: Ruby isn't going to back down, we knew this, but Atara has to be ready for just how agile she is. So quick.

Heather: Atara has been in the ring with everyone, she knows how to make adjustments

The two meet in the center of the ring again. Ruby swings, Atara ducks and comes up with a knee to the mid section. Ruby doubles over as Atara clubs her in the back of the neck, taking her to one knee in the center of the ring. Bouncing off the ropes Atara is going for the shining wizard, but the lighting quick Ruby ducks it, tripping Atara with a drop toe hold. She continues to the ropes as Atara bounces up and Ruby hits a dropsault, backing the Aphrodite into the corner. Running into the corner she connects with the elbow which bounces Atara out to the middle, where Ruby comes off the ropes again with a cross body.

But Atara catches her.........

Rolls into a pin!

Heather: Wait a minute! Ruby's shoulders are down here!

Ruby pops out.

Atara rolls off and gives her the "this close" symbol with her fingers, her face in a grin.

Pip: That was too close. Atara out-quicked Ruby there!

Atara grabs Ruby by the hair, lifting her up. Another knee to the gut, and Atara whips the Anarchy star into the far corner. Atara follows her there, hitting a big chop across the chest. "OHHHH" from this capacity crowd, as she shushes them, only to blow a kiss and hit another big chop. Another knee and Atara whips her into the other corner. Running after her she goes to connect with the knee on that side but Ruby ducks it, Atara bounces off the corner holding her leg as Ruby rolls her into a small package.

Atara pops out and up but Ruby is there for a standing drop kick. Atara hits the deck again and Ruby comes off the ropes with a double leg drop!

Pin!

Pip: Ruby might have her here!

2

Atara kicks out. The crowd cheers.

Heather: Gonna take more than that, Pip! Themis blood is thick! There's no quit in her!

Ruby knows she has to stay on the offensive. This time she picks Atara up by the hair. Firing off a couple quick short-arm strikes she goes to whip her into the corner again but teh saavy Atara backs her off with a thumb to the eye. She bends down and picks Ruby up, lifting her onto her shoulders and dropping her to the canvass with a back body drop. Now that she finally has Ruby off her feet, she grins a sick grin as she knows she can exploit it. Atara kicks Ruby in the knee, and the hero-clad star grabs at her leg. Atara moves her hands, and stomps the knee again. She then hooks her into the ankle lock, wrenching the leg up in an awkward position. She contorts the leg as Ruby cries out, reaching for the ropes. She is a good ways away, however, and Atara wrenches again. Ruby knows she can't make it to the ropes, she slaps the mat in frustration.

Heather: She can't reach the ropes, Pip! She is gonna have to tap to Aphrodite here! Pip: I don't think Ruby is done quite yet!

She begins to try to turn, to spin, to do anything to be able to get her leg around to kick Atara off. Finally, she does. She kicks Atara a couple times, and she breaks the hold. Atara comes right back at Ruby, who has shakily gotten to her feet. She s favoring that right ankle.

Atara goes for a clothesline.

Ruby Cutter! Out of nowhere!

3--ATARA GETS A SHOULDER UP!

Ruby rolls off, holding her ankle as Atara stirs a bit.

Ruby is back to her feet again, but obviously has some discomfort in that ankle. Atara is using the ropes to get herself up, and Ruby takes advantage of ring position with a forearm shot, knocking Atara to the mat outside. Ruby looks out to the fiery crowd, who is enjoying this event immensely already. She then uses the ropes for a springboard cross body on the outside, landing on Atara as the two tumble to the mat again. The ref begins to count as both women stir. Ruby is to her feet first, however, though still moving rather gingerly. She pumps herself up as well as the crowd, then runs at Atara, who is wobbly on her feet, but Atara catches her.

BIRTH OF VENUS ONTO THE STEEL STEPS!!!!

Pip: My god, we may have just seen someone break their back on national television! The risk doesn't pay off for Rubes, and the ref is at a 7 count!

Atara rolls into the ring to break the count, then back out to get Ruby. She grabs her by the hair and rolls her into the ring. Ruby, as resilient as she is, is trying to get up. Atara is sizing her up. When Ruby finally gets to her feet, Atara goes for the JUDGMENT IN PARIS....

But misses, as Ruby ducks, flipping Atara over her shoulder. Aphrodite lands on her feet, and spins to meet a boot to the midsection and a DDT from Ruby! Ruby drops to the mat as well, as her back and ankle have both sustained some damage in this contest. "RUBY, RUBY, RUBY" the crowd starts to chant from one side. On the other, it's "A-TAR-A, A-TAR-A, A-TAR-A".

Pip: This atmosphere is amazing! Neither of these women can gain the advantage but both have this crowd in an uproar!

Heather: This is going to come down to who hits the last big move. This will be a bang bang type of decision, I can feel it, PIP!

Both women get to their feet at the same time. Atara, who has the size advantage, grabs Ruby by the hair from behind. She says something to her, but it is hard to hear over the crowd noise.

Atara bends her back, going for a reverse DDT but Ruby gets her flexible leg up, delivering a Pelé Kick to the face of Atara that backs her off. She spins around into a clothesline attempt from Atara, but Ruby ducks, Atara stays with her and grabs her around the waist. GERMAN SUPLEX.

Bridge pin.

3---Ruby pops out! Atara runs a hand through her hair.

Pip: What does Atara have to do to finish her off here! The frustration leaking through for Aphrodite Incarnate!

She looks up at the rop. She grins as she picks up Ruby and whips her into the corner. Running and connecting with an elbow, she holds her in place. Placing her on the middle rope, then the top, she looks out at the massive Reykjavik crowd. She has her on the top rope and signals for it to be the end.

Atara goes for FROM A DOVE.....

But Ruby counters......she hammers away on Atara, trying to shove her off. Atara hits a forearm to the face, and goes for it again. Again Ruby blocks, and delivers a headbutt to Atara. She falls off the top rope onto her back.

Ruby smiles at the crowd, who begins to chant her name again. She takes a deep breath then jumps.

Ruby in the Rough!!!!

Heather: She got all of that one! Can she get over to make the cover!

Ruby is grabbing her ankle, which Atara twisted around earlier, and crawls into the pin. The crowd counts along in their language.

RETURNS ON MONDAY JANUARY 31ST!!!

Announcer: Coming to the ring first, from Tokyo, Japan. Standing at 5 feet 10 inches and weighing 180 pounds....HAYATO OKAMOTO!!!

The opening bass riffs of Sadistic Eyes mixed in with the pounding drums serve as the clear indicator of who's coming out next. As the guitar kicks in, Hayato Okamoto is quick to make his way out, a smile on his face as he bounces on his toes to keep himself warmed up for the upcoming contest. Feeling the music pump him up, Hayato gives high-fives to the fans in the front row, offering his thanks for their support.

Rolling into the ring, Hayato poses against the ropes for the fans before settling in a corner and doing some small stretches before it's time to start.

Announcer: Entering second, from Salisbury, Maryland. He stands at 7 feet tall and weighing 460 pounds....RAMPAGE!!!!

"Bodies" by Drowning Pool hits the speakers as the lumbering brute known as Rampage makes his way out from the back. When he reaches the ring he pushes the top rope down with both of his meaty claws and literally steps over the ropes and into the ring. He looks over at Hayato and then waits patiently for the opening bell to sound.

The ref signals for the bell and Rampage immediately charges at the much smaller Hayato Okamoto and essentially chest bumps him into the ropes. Hayato stumbles backwards into the ropes and then falls forward flat on his face. Rampage wastes no time and immediately reaches down with his big bear claw and grabs Hayato by the neck and lifts him into the air like he was nothing more than a feather.

Hayato is kicking his legs like a rabid animal as Rampage just laughs. Hayato is trying to wiggle his way free but Rampage just tightens his grip.

HHL: If Rampage isn't careful he's going to squeeze Hayato so hard his head pops off his shoulders.

Pip: I don't think that's how it works Heather.

HHL: It was a joke Pip.

Pip: Sure it was.

With seemingly no other option available Hayato reaches out with both his hands and pokes Rampage in the eyes forcing the man among men to let his opponent go.

1:00 minute elapsed

HHL: Well this is interesting.

Pip: I thought competitors were supposed to come out at 5 minute intervals.

HHL: That's what they are supposed to do but clearly Dick Powers has other plans.

The beat kicks in and I Invented Sex echoes through the arena, the crowd cheers and parties! Balloons and streamers fall from the ceiling as Dick Powers saunters onto the ramp with a rose between his teeth and bounces his head smiling followed by his manager Riley Reed who smiles nodding his head to the rhythm. Dick drops to his knees and opens his arms wide, flaunting what he's got to the crowd as his pyro goes off behind him. He hops to his feet clapping, dancing and high fiving fans on his way to the ring. He jogs up the steps and climbs the top turnbuckle singing along to his theme as he poses to his adoring fans while both Rampage and Hayato look on completely unsure of what exactly is going on.

2:00 minutes elapsed

The ref walks over to Dick and tries to get him to climb down from the turnbuckle but Dick doesn't seem to care at all. Instead Rampage walks over towards Dick Powers and yanks him down and tosses him halfway across the ring.

Powers gets to his feet and starts shaking his the cobwebs when Rampage comes over and immediately tries to lock Powers up only to be taken out at the knees by a diving Hayato Okamoto!

Rampage is down on his knees as both Dick Powers and Hayato approach him. The two men look at each other and Dick says something that he thinks is Japanese but sounds more like complete gibberish before striking Rampage's chest with a knife edge chop. Hayato does the same. And then another from Dick. And another from Hayato.

The two men alternate delivering chops to Rampage's chest for what seems like an eternity but is really only about 30 seconds.

3:00 minutes elapsed

HHL: Looks like we are getting a bit of teamwork here from Okamoto and Powers.

Pip: Probably not a bad idea considering neither of seem like a match for Rampage on their own.[white]

Hayato and Dick both lift Rampage up by his arms and then toss him towards the ropes. The big man bounces off the ropes with such force that the entire ring shakes and with both arms extended the big brute takes out both of his opponents as well as himself. All three men hitting the mat with a loud thump!!

HHL: I think they felt that one all the way back in America.

[white]Pip: I think you might be right Heather. I swear the entire building shock there.

4:00 minutes elapsed

Powers is the first man to stir followed by Hayato and then finally Rampage who crawls over to the ropes and uses them to help get himself up to his feet.

Hayato and Powers see Rampage over by the ropes and immediately charge at him, both men taking hold of one of Rampage's tree trunk legs in an attempt to life him over the ropes for the elimination but so far having little success as Rampage is pushing down on the top rope and using it as leverage to keep him in the ring.

Pip: This is a bold strategy Heather. Let's see if it will pay off.

5:00 minutes elapsed

Darkness falls upon the Icelandic arena, a few somber, but familiar tones playing over the speakers. The song's swelling intensity brings with it a singular visual of a figure in a glowing jacket, the lights reflecting off of their reflective face. Two explosions fire off on both sides of the ramp, the lights beginning to pulse between red and blue in sync with the song.

PC: Wait, is Corey Smith coming down to the ring right now?!

HHL: I don't think so, Pip. That new wrestler, The Chameleon, seems to be focused on imitating their opponents. I think we're witnessing their first entrance.

PC: It's definitely well researched. I don't think you could tell at a glance that this isn't Corey walking down the ramp! I wonder if that will translate into the ring, though.

HHL: That's the million dollar question. That and "who the hell is The Chameleon, anyway?"

The Chameleon steps down the ramp, their jacket's lights creating the pattern of a heart and a lightning bolt. The X-Tron shows Corey's entrance video, including highlights of his and Lux's greatest moments, but the blur effect on Smith's face is more intensified, the features completely vacant from his face in a truly unsettling fashion.

They hop up onto the ring apron, their arms draped over the top rope while the jacket continues to flash. Though their expression is vacant given the nature of the mask, their body language shows an intense excitement and preparedness. They begin to point towards the audience before swiftly making their way to the top rope and taking in the sights. With short leap onto the mat, they remove the jacket and hand it to the unsettled referee, their full body suit still covering them. With a deliberate and careful pace, The Chameleon looks towards his opponents deciding what to do as the various aspects of his entrance begin to wind down.

HHL: Well the good news here is that The Chameleon’s entrance took so long we are already halfway towards the fifth and final member of the match joining us.

The Chameleon slowly approaches the three opponents in the ring. Hayato and Powers seem unphased by this as they continue to try and put Rampage over the top which they have made little progress towards doing. The Chameleon continues to stare at his opponents as he weighs his options.

Does he help get Rampage over the top or does he even the odds until Omega arrives?

It takes a few seconds but The Chameleon finally does make his choice as he taps both Hayato and Powers on the back and then points towards Rampage’s legs. Powers and Hayato make some room for The Chameleon to get involved and it doesn’t take very long for the extra strength to pay off as the three men are finally able to lift Rampage over the top rope and down to the floor as the first person eliminated from the match.

Rampage has been eliminated.

Dick Powers and Hayato Okamoto start jumping up and down and celebrating like two nerds who just saw a woman’s breast for the first time. The two get so into celebrating that they completely forget that there is a third person in the ring with them until it’s too late. Both men turn in unison just in time to see The Chameleon charging at them and with both arms extended nail both of his opponents in the head sending them both over the top rope and crashing to the floor as the second and third eliminations from the match.

Dick Powers and Hayato Okamoto have been eliminated

HHL: The Chameleon played that one perfectly. Helping Powers and Okamoto remove the monster that is Rampage only to then turn against them and eliminate them both without a seconds thought.

Pip: There are no friends in a super scramble Heather. Just fragile alliances.

HHL: Right you are Pip.

5 minutes elapsed

"Legend" hits the P.A. system and the lights dim, save for a lone, golden spotlight centered on the stage. A thin layer of fog floats across the stage, and Jay Omega struts out to the top of the ramp. Omega stands on the stage for a moment with his arms spread and a cocky smirk on his face, then casually makes his way down the ramp, crossing back and forth to slap hands with fans. At ringside Jay hops up onto the apron, then vaults over the ropes before crossing the ring and climbing up to the second turnbuckle. Omega poses for the crowd amidst a flickering strobe effect from thousands of cameraphone flashbulbs, then backflips off the turnbuckle just in time to get rocked by a clothesline from The Chameleon!!!

HHL: Clearly The Chameleon was not impressed with Omega’s entrance antics.

Pip: Kind of ironic given that his entrance took like 4 minutes.

Chameleon yanks Omega up to his feet by the hair and then hits the ropes, rebounding at top speed and leaping for what looks like a flying burrito-slash-forearm attempt, but Omega catches him enough to back up and drop him face first on a turnbuckle with a resounding SNAKE EYES! Chameleon is dazed and he stumbles backward, then gets dropped with a hopping neckbreaker from Jay Omega!

Omega is in control firmly and he stalks Chameleon, waiting for them to get to her feet… Omega sprays a red mist into Chameleon’s face! Chameleon claws at their eyes… and then hits Omega with a black mist of their own! Omega falls to his knees wiping away at his eyes while Chameleon rubs their face across the top rope, doing their best to recover.

HHL: That mask had to have helped out Chameleon there, Omega might have made his first mistake in the XWF!

Pip: But how did Chameleon have the exact same attack loaded up? This person is so confusing...

Chameleon converges on Omega who is still trying to clear his vision. Omega gets thrown into a corner by the back of his neck and then Chameleon is on his with punches and kicks, leaving Omega no opportunity to do much of anything except cover up as much as he can.

Chameleon seems to take a second to study Omega before moving in close again and reaching for him, but Omega catches him with a rising back elbow that hits Chameleon’s jaw loudly enough to get an OH! From the crowd. Chameleon stumbles back, and Omega races out with a jumping knee to the face! Omega hops onto the second rope but Chameleon steps aside when he comes off, and returns fire with a jumping knee to OMEGA!

Chameleon grabs Omega and whips him to a corner… no! Omega reverses! Chameleon hits the buckles hard and in races Omega with a massive stinger splash! Chameleon’s knees buckle and they stagger out of the corner right into a Northern Lights Suplex! Breathtaking!

Omega catches his breath while Chameleon gets to his feet… and Chameleon eats a superkick! Chameleon is stood straight up by the crisp kick and Omega looks to dump him over with a running clothesline, but Chameleon ducks! Chameleon hooks Omega from behind in a pumphandle lift!

Pip: The Chameleon is going for the Ride the Lightning! That’s Jay Omega’s move!

HHL: Omega squirmed free!

Omega wriggles out and drops behind Chameleon, then grabs THEM in a pumphandle… and executes the lift into a pair of knees to the spine! The Ride the Lightning!

Chameleon bounces up so high from the impact that they end up hanging over the top rope… and Omega smirks when he sees it, and grabs Chameleon by the head, twisting them into a neckbreaker that sends them springing off the rope and down to the concrete floor!

Pip: That’s it! Jay Omega eliminates The Chameleon!

As soon as LSM's theme music hits the speakers the crowd starts cheering for their favorita luchadora. As the bass bumps through the arena the crowd chants along to the music. A spectacle of green and red pyrotechnics shoot up twenty five feet from the entrance platform. A complimentary arrangement of pyro shoots up through the four turnbuckles of the ring.

Oh!
Oh!
Oh!
Oh!
Oh!
Who's this?

Latina Submission Machina pops out onto the entrance ramp alongside an additional burst of pyrotechnic fireworks. The crowd pops hard for the 24/7 freestyle champion as she holds the belt up high over her head.

Mach-ina Mach-ina!

The masked luchadora bounces around just outside the tunnel for a moment before flinging the championship belt over her shoulder. She flings her red hair to the side as she starts walking down the ramp. She gives out a few high fives and exchanges a few courtesies with some of the front-row fans on her way down to the ring. The crowd begins to clap along to the beat of the theme music as LSM nears the squared circle.

Latina Submission Machina slides beneath the ropes to great applause from the crowd. LSM hands her championship belt over to the referee for safekeeping before she starts pumping up the crowd to cheer louder. Moments later Latina Submission Machina quickly breaks away and starts running the ropes of the ring, testing out the squared circle and getting a feel for it's qualities. Content with it's fitness, the luchadora grabs a hold of the ropes and comes to a controlled halt. She turns to the referee and tells them she's ready to go. The luchadora heads to the corner as instructed and begins reveling in the applause of her fans.

The arena goes dark and an ominous red fog rises up around the stage giving the illusion that there was a fire burning below it. Through the mist rises Doctor Louis D'Ville in his pearl-white suit and a grin from ear to ear. He takes a step forward, while standing at the top of the ramp he take a deep breath of the fiery mist and exhales before slowly making his way to the ring.

HHL: Get ready for a technical showcase! LSM is an absolute master of technical wrestling! And Dock is in the Hall of Legends for good reason!

LSM quickly, with lightning-fast feet, zips back and forth, juking and coming in and out on Dock…

Dock… Stalks slowly towards LSM and leads with his face…

HHL: Dock, taking a… non-traditional approach in the early going.

PIP: He’s looking to get knocked OUT, Heather! You never lead with your face!

LSM gives him a quick one-two jab on the chin… Dock seems rocked momentarily, but smiles, beckoning for more.

LSM socks him again, and as his head reels back, she latches onto his arm!

HHL: Latina Submission Machina might be looking for her trademark armbar early!

LSM tries to twist Dock to the mat… But he resists… Suddenly, his arm twists and he latches onto her as well… He Irish whips her towards him…

AND DELIVERS A HUUUUUGE HEADBUTT STRAIGHT TO LSM’S EYE SOCKET! LSM rocks back blinking, her brain too scrambled to know to fall down…

Before gravity can do the job her legs are too jellified to do, Dock slips behind her and locks in his signature DOCta ha jima!

His bicep locks around LSM’s throat… He eventually twists around her body like a cobra, dragging her to the mat.

HHL: The official is asking LSM if she’d like to continue, but she’s not replying.

PIP: She’s either too crazy to let herself submit this early… or that headbutt knocked out her brain’s ability to recognize human speech.

LSM does swing an arm up… trying desperately to dig her hand into Dock’s choking bicep to open an airway… But Dock leans back and only closes his chokehold tighter.

After a few seconds, LSM’s hand falls limp. The official doesn’t even bother lifting LSM’s arm to check if she can recover, because it’s clear this one is over.

Vinnie Lane: “Bama are you ready for this insane match-up for the Anarchy Championship?”

Bama: “You know I am, baby! I ain’t never NOT in the mood to see the Pappy of Violence!”

Vinnie Lane: “No one has defined violence and mayhem in the XWF quite the way Barney Green has, Bammer. And he’s upping the ante here tonight, dragging Elijah Martin into a STAPLE GUN match!”

"Realize" By AC/DC starts to play as the fans start booing. Out walks Barney Green, dressed in his garbage man uniform. He slowly walks out and starts arguing back with the fans. He reveals his trash can and dumps a bunch of trash out of it onto the fans. He slowly enters the ring as fans start throwing garbage back at him. He waits in the corner as the music fades.

Bama: “There he is! The ever-evolving entrepreneur of ass-whoop, Barney Green! He looks ready to friggin’ RUMBLE, boy!”

Vinnie Lane: “That he does, Bama. He’s focused on winning gold here tonight in Reykjavik.. It’s about to get HOT in Iceland!”

The lights on the entrance way go dark as "Blueprint 2" by Jay-Z begins... as the song reaches the 21-second mark and the beat drops, an explosion is heard and the stage lighting comes back up, revealing new XWF Anarchy Champion Elijah Martin standing at the top of the entrance way. After about ten seconds of standing still to take in the crowd in the arena, Martin casually makes his way to the ring, yelling some random things at the crowd on the way.

He walks around to the hard cam side of the ring and hops onto the apron towards the end of the first verse of the song. When the song transitions into the chorus with the beat drop at the 1:25 mark, Martin raises both arms in the air and yells "I'M THE KING, MOTHAFUCKAS!" After a couple of seconds taking in the mix of cheers and boos, Martin steps into the ring and just paces around a couple of times before stopping at his corner and taking an ass bump to sit against the bottom turnbuckle.

Bama: “I love that dang song.”

Vinnie Lane: “I really wish you wouldn’t sing EVERY word in it, dude…”

ANARCHY CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

BARNEY GREEN

ELIJAH MARTIN ©

Staple Gun On A Pole Match
Winner must not only grab the staple gun off the pole but use it on their opponent.
Anarchy Rules

Bama: “Lookit the champion, Vinnie. Poise. Confidence. Pure 10W-40 runnin’ through them veins.”

Vinnie Lane: “I think it’s smart that he had Lexi Gold stay away from ringside for this one, Bama, this match could really get out of hand quickly, and she’s got the night of her life coming up tomorrow on the other side of the globe when MADNESS debuts live from Vanuatu!”

Bama: “It’s gonna be a wild ride for sure, Vincent, and the fact that she chose not to travel early so she could support her man just goes to show you how committed she is to this relationship.”

Vinnie Lane: “Absolutely! Even though there were some misunderstandings the night Elijah here won the Anarchy Title, we all see now that it was nothing more than a miscommunication! Lexi Gold is one to watch on Madness for sure, but tonight, right now, it’s all about ANARCHY!”

DING! DING! DING!!!

Referee Ari Silverstein calls for the bell after holding the Anarchy Title high for the Iceland crowd.

Barney barrels across the ring and claps his arms on either side of Martin as he rushes to meet him mid-ring. Martin drops hard but is quick to get to one knee, ducking his head down and covering up with one arm as Green rains heavy ham fists down onto the back of his head and neck.

Martin grabs one of Green’s tree trunk legs and lifts it from the mat, pulling the big man off balance and running him across the ring into a corner. He then starts drilling hard kidney punches into Green’s torso, getting audible grunts from the Daddy of Violence.

Barney drives the point of his elbow down onto the crown of Elijah Martin’s head, getting some separation. He grabs Martin’s throat with both hands… sit-out choke-bomb!

Vinnie Lane: “Big impact from the man behind BarnCoin!”

Bama: “I bought some just this morning, Vinnie, imagine the value if Barn walks out of here with the Anarchy Gold!”

Vinnie Lane: “Who even needs Dogecoin?”

Barney heads for the pole in the corner, looking to grab the staple gun hanging from it. Before he can get up the ropes though, Elijah is there to bury a forearm into the small of his back. Barney loses his balance and wobbles backward, and Martin catches him on his shoulders! The veins in Martin’s forehead bulge as he strains under Barney’s weight, but then he shifts and drops Green to the canvas with a big burning hammer!

Bama: “WOW!”

Elijah grimaces and holds his lower back after dropping Green, but he doesn’t waste much time before heading up to grab the staple gun off of the pole.

Vinnie Lane: “Well that didn’t take long! The staple gun is already in play here in this match, and Elijah Martin has it in his possession!”

Martin stands on the top turnbuckle with the staple gun and waits as Barney gets back to his feet. When he does, Martin leaps off and executes a double ax handle, but instead of his fists it’s the staple gun! And the crowd OOOOOHs as Barney is sent staggering away with a huge red blotch in the middle of his forehead.

Bama: “Elijah hit him dead center between the eyes with that staple, Vinnie!”

Vinnie Lane: “And he isn’t letting up either! Look at him go to town on Barney’s head with that thing!”

Elijah keeps chasing Barney around the ring stabbing the staple gun to his head as he catches up to him. Each mechanical click of the gun leaves another streak of red pouring from Green’s scalp.

Eventually, Green just sumps into a corner on his butt and covers up as best he can with his arms as Elijah keeps going to town with the staple gun, leaving little metal lines in Barney’s forearms with dozens of repeated shots.

Green finally decides enough is enough and bursts from the corner, tackling Martin and making the gun spin across the mat to the other end of the ring. He starts slamming the back of Martin’s head into the canvas and bashing him with forearm and elbow shots… he even uses the staples embedded in his own skin to grind across the face of Elijah Martin!

Bama: “Now that’s just crazy… he’s gotta be hurtin’ himself as bad as Elijah!”

Vinnie Lane: “Barney Green has always been willing to put his body through immense amounts of pain in order to hurt his opponents!”

Barney bows his head and bites Elijah Martin right on the bridge of the nose! Blood spurts up like a geyser as Barney turns his head and spits out what looks like a chunk of skin.

Green gets up and walks over to the staple gun, holding it up for the crowd to bask in. Martin gets to his feet and runs to Barney with a clothesline but Barney ducks it and grabs him by the wrist… DREAMAKER!!!

Martin is turned inside out by the high impact lariat, and when he starts to dizzily crawl off, Green is on him like an owl on a field mouse, ramming staple after staple into the back of Elijah Martin. Martin wails and winces in agony, trying to get some distance between himself and Barney… and he finally manages to flip onto his back and send a kick right up into the gonads of the challenger.

Vinnie Lane: “He might be the Daddy of Violence dude but I don’t think he’s gonna be anyone else’s daddy…”

Bama: “Vinnie… Vinnie… Barney dropped the dang staple gun…”

The staple gun tumbles from Barney’s hands right into Elijah’s… and Martin aims and fires one right into Green’s crotch!

Barney falls to his knees, grabbing his junk. Elijah stands up and grins, then reaches for Barney’s face. Elijah grabs Barney’s eye patch and flips it up, exposing his gnarly socket… and then he brings the staple gun up… lines it up… and jams a staple deep into Barney Green’s ocular cavity!

Vinnie Lane: “Holy CRAP! Elijah may have just stapled Barney Green’s BRAIN!”

Bama: “Good lord, Barney is a got-dang LEGEND for taking that…”

Martin drops the staple gun and hits the ropes, then rebounds off into a slide… DEATH BY FOREARM!!! Right to the stapled eye socket!!!

Barney collapses to one side, twitching, and Martin rolls him onto his back for a cover!

HHL: Universe, up next here at Fire & Ice is a match that, really Pip, has been in the making for five years.

PIP: I hope you bought your tickets, I hope every wrestling fan on the planet has bought this event tonight because I can promise you, you’ll never… ever… see it again!

HHL: There were few doubts that when that young man began his career that he’d reach stardom, that he’d reach a level that few others have before him and few other will reach after him.

PIP: Hall or no Hall Heather, this kid is an absolute fucking icon!

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome MARK! FLYYNNNN!

HHL: What is this!?

PIP: It’s no secret, Mark Flynn and Thaddeus Duke have grown rather close over the last several months. Maybe he wants to get a closer look!

Mark Flynn makes his way toward the ring with some haste and very little fanfare as the crowd delivers to him a bit of a mixed reaction. Pip stands… well… what counts as standing for the little guy as he welcomes Mark Flynn to the announce table.

HHL: To what do we owe the pleasure!? You wouldn’t be here planning to pay Thad back for helping you steal a win over Sebastian Duke at the last edition of Warfare, would you Flynn?

Flynn: …Jeez, hello to you, too, Heather. No, I came to support a friend… And grab a front-row seat to a lifelong adversary getting stricken from the Hall of Legends. Is that so wrong?

HHL: …

The following contest, is a No Holds Barred match set for one fall! Introducing at this time, the special guest referee… he IS the XWF SuperContinental Champion… COREEEY SMIIITH!

HHL: The Universe has come undone here in Iceland!

PIP: Gonna need Peter Vaughn out here to mop up the mess you just made, Heather! Keep it together woman!

Corey Smith enters with a lot of cheering, hooting, hollering, the whole nine for arguably the biggest babyface in the business.

HHL: Corey Smith finds himself in an unenviable position, tonight guys.

PIP: Stuck between two feuding Duke’s with similar tempers… On this we agree.

Flynn: It’s important to remember Corey and Thad are still working on mending their friendship. Tonight may MAKE or BREAK their future together. Usually, assaulting your father into respecting you AND leaving town is something you can only do with your closest friends.

Introducing first!

From New York City! Weighing 2 hundred 17 pouunds… The Lionheart! THADDEUUUSS DUUUUKE!

Thaddeus emerges from backstage in his traditional white and gold ring gear and his new white leather entrance jacket.

PIP: Look at that jacket, Heather! It was made from the scrap heap that was Sebastian Duke’s XWF titles!

HHL: Yes Pip, I know!

Flynn: Making a mental note to make my next jacket out of things precious to my enemies. Such a baller move.

The Universe is red hot with excitement, but continue to give Thad a mixed reaction. He stands just before the ramp and gives his now traditional messiah-like pose as gold colored pyro explodes all over the dome. As he makes his way toward the ring down the ramp, he unexpectedly greets a couple of young fans before reaching ringside.

With the camera at his back, he turns around to face it before holding his hands in the shape of a heart.

HHL: The man’s in love, Pip!

PIP: In case you’ve been living under a rock, Thaddeus Duke this past Thursday married Lauren MacKay of FIGHT NYC, better known as Sahara!

HHL: Two powerful companies now have their houses joined in matrimony!

Flynn: Beautiful ceremony. I got them a four-slice toaster. That’s how you know I believe in that marriage.

Thad kisses two fingers and plants them on the lens of the camera before turning and heading up the steps. Wasting little time, he slingshots over the top rope and into the ring as his music fades out. In the ring, he unbuckles his ring jacket and removes it while conversing briefly with Corey Smith.

After passing the jacket through the ropes, Thad paces the ring while staring out toward the entrance way.

And his opponent...

Several seconds go by as Thad continues to pace the ring.

PIP: Where the hell is he?

HHL: You know these Duke’s, they gotta be all dramatic like.

Paul Heyman’s extreme theme plays and the fans are mixed with hate and love for the grizzled old former manager of Thaddeus Duke. In the ring, Thad and Corey both roll their eyes in almost perfect unison.

Heyman emerges on stage with a microphone in hand as his music fades.

Hello Thaddeus, Heyman begins smugly. Isn’t it cute when alllll your chickens come home to roost?

Seems that ever since you fired me Thaddeus, that you’ve had trouble getting across the finish line. And I’m here to remind yoouuu that you could only draw with Mark Flynn.

You couldn’t wrestle your title off of Corey Smith.

And you CAN NOT beat Sebastian Duke!

With that said… allow me to introduce to yooouu… the most POWERFUL… THE MOST DESTRUCTIVE… THE MOST LEGENDARY FORCE TO EVER GRAVE AN XWF RING…

SEBASTIAN!

FUCKING!

DUKE!

HHL: The thunder rolls here in Iceland!

With the thunder, comes the darkness. Lightning flashes light up the ring as Thad watches on from inside. As his father steps onto the stage, rain water begins to pour over the ring, drenching Corey Smith and Thaddeus Duke.

PIP: This should be an illegal mind game, Heather! How is Thad supposed to gain his footing if his boots are soaked!?

Flynn: It’s definitely unsportsmanlike, Pip. But it does reckon back to wrestling’s early beginnings, in the hills of Scotland, where to gain a competitive edge, the farmers would drench their opponent’s shoes in the river to reduce traction. Clever play by Sebastian to harken back to the olden days.

Sebastian stalks his way slowly toward the ring with a grinning Paul Heyman at his side. At the bottom of the ramp, Seb stops and stares up toward Thad standing in the ring. Unable to hold back his anticipation any longer, and while his dad is removing his cape thingy, Thad rushes across the ring and dives through the ropes with a suicide dive to his father.

THE DUKE LEGACY

SEBASTIAN DUKE
- vs -
THADDEUS DUKE

w/Special Guest Ref - Corey Smith
No Holds Barred
Warfare Rules

HHL: Smith has signaled for the bell and Duke versus Duke is underway!

Both Duke’s crash to the floor, but Thad mounts and grabs a fistful of Seb’s hair before sending his right fist into his face repeatedly amid protests from Heyman. Smith exits the ring to monitor the action more closely. Satisfied for the moment, Thad gets to his feet and takes a few steps toward Heyman who hightails it up the ramp.

Corey though, grabs Thad by his arm, stopping him from going after his former manager. Thad looks at Smith a moment before turning his attention to Seb. Seb though is on his knees and sends an uppercut to his sons throat. Thad staggers back as Seb climbs to his feet, the old man reaches down, lifts Thad up and body slams him hard on the ramp. Thad arches his back upon impact.

HHL: Smith, trying hard to convince the King of Darkness to take the action into the ring!

After running his mouth at Smith for a moment, Seb grabs a handful of Thad’s hair and pulls him the rest of the way to his feet before getting a head of steam down the ramp and throwing Thad head and shoulder first into the ring steps.

Again, Smith pleads with Seb to take it in the ring.

PIP: Sebastian Duke, so far ignoring commands from Smith!

Flynn: Sebastian out here treating Corey like one of his children.

HHL: Ah, I see what you d-

Flynn: NEGLECTING HIM!

HHL: Yes, I understood the joke.

Flynn: HE’S A TERRIBLE FATHER!

With Thad on his hands and knees, Seb delivers a punt kick to the young mans ribs sending him skyward a moment before landing and rolling a few feet away. Seb then pulls back the apron and pulls out a steel chair from beneath the ring. With the boy on his hands and knees again, Seb brings the chair down hard across his back.

DO IT AGAIN!

HHL: Heyman! Barking instructions to… I guess… his new client!

XWF Universe: K! O! D!

PIP: Blood thirsty dickheads!

Flynn: It’s always heartwarming when a capacity crowd cheers for a father to publicly beat his child! Makes me nostalgic for my own upbringing…

HHL: …Jesus, Flynn.

Again, Seb brings the chair down across Thad’s back, breaking the ‘spine’ of the chair in the process. Discarding the chair, Seb looks Smith in the eye a moment before leaning down, pulling Thad back to his feet and rolling him into the ring.

HHL: Finally! This match will take place in the ring!

Seb himself climbs into the ring as Thad starts to get back to his feet. The old man flexes his right hand and makes a fist. Thad gets vertical and Seb swings but Thad quickly ducks behind him, sending a hard shot to the kidney. Seb arches his back but backhand swings toward Thad. Thad ducks in front this time and sends a series of shots to his old mans ribs backing him up. Thad then sends a stiff right fist to his fathers jaw and the punch stuns Seb enough that Thad drives his shoulder into Seb’s midsection and backward into the corner.

With Seb trapped, Thad drives his shoulder again, and again, and then a third time into Seb’s midsection. Backing off, Thad jacks his fathers jaw again, but this time Seb shrugs it off.

HHL: He went to the well one too many times!

Flynn: Sebastian hasn’t lost a step… It’s in the Duke genes. The longer a match versus a Duke goes, the more energy they have. They’re bred for this sport. You can’t outlast ‘em, you just gotta find a way to put ‘em down.

PIP: And how would you do that, Flynn?

Flynn: …When I figure that out, I’ll tell ya.

Seb boxes Thad’s ears then beals Thad into the corner and sends a series of body shots into the young man before punching him in the jaw hard enough to make spit fly. Seb then sends Thad across the ring to into the corner. Thad bounces out of the corner toward Seb. The old man bends down and sends Thad up high and over with a back body drop.

PIP: Thad crashes hard!

HHL: And the Seb Train just keeps rolling!

After Thad’s impact, Seb backpedals quickly towards the ropes and bounces off. On the rebound, he leaps he into the air and drops a leg across the head of Thad and goes for the cover. Smith hits the mat for the count.

1…

2…

HHL: Thad kicks out!

PIP: C’mon Thad! Get it together!

That was three, Smith!

Shut the hell up, Heyman!

Back in the ring, Seb leans his forearm across the throat of Thad as Thad kicks and thrashes his legs wildly much to the dismay of Corey Smith. Smith tries to plead with him to stop choking Thad but Seb just kind of laughs in Smith’s face to some growing jeers and boos from the sold out crowd in Iceland.

Finally, Seb relents and leans off of Thad. Thad rolls to his stomach while Seb gets back to his feet. Thad remains on the mat trying desperately to reclaim his air while Smith gets in Seb’s face over the unnecessary choke. Seb though, scoffs then face shoves Corey Smith to a round of boos from the XWF faithful.

HHL: I don’t understand why Sebastian Duke wanted Corey Smith to officiate this match, Pip!

PIP: Because Thad’s right, his father is an evil sociopath and now I’m confused because I don’t know what side I’m supposed to be on.

Flynn: It’s a solid strategy, Heather. Sebastian is trying to create any opportunity for Thad to lose focus on this match. Seb excels against a distracted opponent, he’s picked up some of his biggest victories just by locking his eye on the prize and letting his opponent lose track of the game.

Not one to be pushed around, Corey gets right in Sebastian’s face. Seb though, just smiles and backs off before returning his attention to Thad who is now on his hands and knees. Seb swings one leg over Thad and basically sits on his back, grounding him again beneath his weight. With his left hand, he grabs a handful of Thad’s hair and pulls back before using his right arm to deliver a series of crossface blows.

Seb gets back to his feet and pulls Thad to his before whipping him toward the ropes. Thad tries to reverse, but Seb puts on the brakes and sends Thad to the other side. On the rebound, Thad ducks a haymaker style lariat and flies to the far side. Off that rebound he leaps into the air with a cross body block.

Seb though, catches his son out of the air and delivers a modified t-bone suplex sending Thad hard to the mat. Once again, Seb tries for the cover.

1…

2…

HHL: Just in time, Thaddeus Duke kicks out and this match continues!

PIP: Something is off in the kids game, Heather! I’ve never seen him get dominated in the ring quite the way Sebastian Duke is doin’ it!

HHL: The fact is, Sebastian knows how good his kid is, he literally taught him everything he knows. Whatever you think of his recent performances doesn’t matter. He was prepared for Thaddeus Duke here tonight.

Flynn: Thad is very capable of adapting. He’s very good at learning-on-the-fly. But whether or not he can figure out a way to circumvent his father’s preparation… If he can think three or four steps ahead of how far Seb can think? That’s going to determine this match’s result.

LEARN HOW TO COUNT, SMITH!

Smith flips off Heyman, because fuck Paul Heyman. In response, Heyman starts digging underneath the ring. In the ring, Seb lifts Thad to his feet and whips him toward the ropes just as Heyman pulls out a table and begins setting it up on the floor.

As Thad nears the ropes, he underhooks the top rope, stopping his forward momentum. Seb saw it coming though and charges forward delivering a clothesline to Thad sending up and over the top rope and crashing to the floor below.

Seb goes to chase him out but Corey impedes his path, pleading with him to keep things in the ring. While Corey has his eyes on Seb, Heyman completes setting up the table and starts laying his boots to Thad on the floor.

PIP: Why’s he hiding it? It’s no holds barred!

HHL: Smith is still within his right to eject Heyman!

Heyman backs off of Thad as Corey stops pleading with Seb. Seb shoves Corey aside and steps over the top rope to the apron before jumping down to the floor. Before turning his attention to Thad, he peels back the padded floor covering, revealing the cement floor below. Lifting Thad to his feet, Seb then grabs him in a front face lock before lifting him up and sending him down hard, back first on the exposed cement.

Seb sits up, shaking the pain from his own back from the landing before getting back to his feet. Grabbing a fist full of Thad’s hair, he pulls him standing again. Lifting him up, Seb rushes forward, crashing Thad’s spine into the ringpost. Then a second time. And one more time for good measure before slamming him rib first down across his knee.

HHL: His back has got to be in so much pain right now!

PIP: You can look at roster pages all day Heather, but seeing 6’9” and almost 300 pounds in person, and just how powerful he is… it’s just a whole new ball game when that bell rings.

Seb backs off for a moment letting Thad try, and fail, to get up under his own power. After falling to his hands and knees a second time, Seb grabs him by his hair and pulls him up, putting Thad’s head between his legs. Seb moves his hair out of his face then lifts that up before power bombing him down through the table at ring side!

HHL: Sebastian Duke! Out here at Fire & Ice, delivering a receipt from Savage!

PIP: It was just a couple of weeks ago that Thad had Cyrus Braddock put Seb through a table!

I thought he was a Lionheart, Seb says into the camera while admiring his handy work. Seb then drags Thad out of the table debris before lifting him up and tossing him into the ring.

Seb takes his time getting back into the ring as inside, Thad starts to struggle to his feet. Once inside, Thad has made it near the opposite corner. Looking up at Corey, Thad uses him to try and get upright before stumbling backward into the corner.

Suddenly, Thad shoves Corey out of the way just a split second before Seb comes roaring in, crashing into Thad in the corner with an avalanche. The universe saw it, they popped.

HHL: Thad just saved Corey from disaster!

PIP: I saw it Heather… I don’t know what to make of it!

Flynn: I DO! It’s proof that Thad isn’t 100% focused on this match. He saved someone he cares about instead of throwing him in harm’s way like a human shield. Seb KNOWS you can’t care about your friends AND be an XWF Legend. That’s why Seb doesn’t have any!

After the avalanche, Thad staggers out of the corner and falls to his hands and knees. Corey looks bewildered at the moment. He thought he was angry because Thad shoved him, but realizes he was saved from harm.

Seb stands back, waiting for Thad to get up under his own power. When he does so, he turns around right into a Sebastian Duke throat gripping. Thad struggles against his fathers grip, but Seb lifts him up and plants him on the mat with huge choke slam. Sebastian immediately makes the cover while Corey hits the mat for the count.

HHL: Thad kicks out!

PIP: I was sure it was over!

HHL: Pip, this crowd popped for the kick out.

Flynn: I had to work Thaddeus Duke for SIXTY MINUTES with EVERYTHING I HAD… to get one three-count! Thaddeus Duke is just about the toughest fucker to put down I’ve ever met.

Seb looks shocked as he can’t believe Thad just kicked out after everything he’s put him through. On the floor, Heyman is again setting up another table. Back in the ring, Seb is kind of beside himself as he gets to his feet and gets in Corey Smith’s face to argue the speed of the count.

Once again, Corey doesn’t back down and is right back in Seb’s face.

It’s Seb that backs off while behind him, Thad is miraculously getting to his feet. Realizing this, Seb peels off toward the ropes just as Thad gets vertical. On the rebound, Seb hits a clothesline from hell, but not on Thad!

HHL: Soul Shot to Corey Smith!

PIP: What the hell was that!?

HHL: He turned him inside out! Smith is down!

Flynn: Knocking out the official in a no-DQ match? It’s a bold strategy, we’ll see how it works out for Seb...

Realizing what happened while Seb gets back to his feet, Thad gets a full head of steam and delivers a spear to his father to a big pop from the crowd. After the spear, Thad hops on Seb with a side headlock and lays in the fists… and the thunder rolls inside the dome.

HHL: Instinct?

PIP: ...I don’t know.

HHL: It’s starting to rain again… inside the dome!

After the ground and pound, Thad rushes over on his hands and knees to Corey in order to check on him. With Smith groggy, Thad can’t waste anymore time as his father is starting to get to his feet. Up and at ‘em, Thad peels off toward a far corner, revving up for his kick. Seb turns to find him…

SMACK!

HHL: Heat Seeker!

Seb takes the kick right to his jaw and stumbles backward into the ropes. On the short rebound, Thad kicks him in the midsection, doubling him over. Quickly, Thad places Seb’s head between his legs and double underhooks his arms before planting him in the center of the ring.

HHL: PEDIGREE FROM THAD!

Flynn: YES! TAKE ‘EM OUT, THAD!

PIP: SMITH IS STILL DOWN!

HHL: He hooks the leg anyway!

XWF Universe: 1…

Thad is beside himself as he leans off of his father, but takes a moment to look around at the crowd and acknowledge their changing attitude toward him. Getting back to his feet, again he peels off toward the corner while Sebastian struggles to get up. Corey too, is starting to get up.

In the corner, he starts revving up to hit another Heat Seeker as the crowd volume starts to rise. With Sebastian on his feet, Thad tries to advance forward only for Paul Heyman to grab a hold of his plant foot and not let go causing an eruption of boos from the Universe.

With Thad trapped and struggling to get Heyman off of him, Seb gets a head of steam, delivering another corner avalanche to Thad. Seb immediately backs off and whips Thad to the opposite corner with so much authority that he flips up the turnbuckles before flipping back down to his feet before eating a running lariat from Seb.

Seb makes the cover and Corey reluctantly goes for the count.

HHL: One more time, Thad kicks out!

PIP: And the Universe recognizes it positively!

Slowly getting back to his feet, Seb reaches down and pulls Thad to his before whipping him toward the ropes. On the rebound, Thad ducks under a big boot attempt from his dad to a roar from the crowd. Off the other side now, Seb goes for a clothesline but Thad ducks that too. On his way by, he delivers a hard shot to Seb’s get doubling him over. On the next rebound, Thad somersaults over he bent over father, landing on his feet. His dad tries to backhand swipe at him from the left, but Thad quickly flips sideways to the other side before planting him with a side Russian legsweep.

HHL: The pure athleticism of Thaddeus Duke is on full display right now!

PIP: Like him or not, the shit he can do with his body is sometimes unreal!

HHL: Anytime he gains momentum though, the thunder rolls and the rain falls!

Feeling the momentum full in his favor, Thad hops back to his feet quickly and one hopes it to the top rope. Measuring for distance for a quick moment, he leaps from the top delivering a Savage elbow drop to the sternum of the King of Darkness. Quickly, he hooks the leg and Corey hits the mat for the count.

2…

HHL: And Sebastian kicks out!

Leaning off his father, Thad looks at Corey, Corey confirms the two count. Thad starts to get back to his feet. He immediately peel off toward the corner and starts revving up again for another Heat Seeker. Across the ring, Sebastian is real slow to get up, but Heyman one more time grabs a hold of Thad’s plant leg.

HHL: How is this kid supposed to keep his momentum!? Every time he starts making head way, thunder, rain, and Paul freakin’ Heyman!

Flynn: Seb lost two matches in the lead-up to Fire & Ice, due to some ALLEGED outside interference! And he brought someone to equalize. Props to him.

…He probably shouldn’t have brought a spineless worm like Paul Heyman, but hey, when you have ONE total friend, you bring that ONE friend.

Seeing and not willing to allow it, Corey Smith hightails it across the ring and baseball slide dropkicks Heyman to a HUGE roar from the crowd. As Smith gets back to his feet Thad smiles at him.

Wanted to do that for a long time, Smith says to Thad with a shrug and smile.

Across the ring, Seb is nearly upright and Thad bursts from the corner with the Heat Seeker. Seb though, telegraphs it and catches Thad’s foot. Seb whips his leg away and Thad spins but leaps into the air bringing Seb down to the mat with him in a modified Code Breaker type move, locking him into a submission on the landing.

HHL: END GAME!

PIP: Right in the middle!

Sebastian Duke struggles in the same devastating hold he taught his son so many years ago. He struggles at first as he tries to reach the ropes that are way too far away. With his free hand, he tries to swipe and punch at Thad, but Thad just moves his head one way or the other in avoidance.

Soon, Seb is able to plant a foot on the mat, then the second while leaning forward, pinning Thad’s shoulders down to the mat.

1…

2…

HHL: My god what power!

Just before the three, Sebastian powers Thad off the mat with his trapped arm, coming almost fully upright before driving Thad back to the mat with a modified spine buster, effectively breaking the hold.

Flynn: HOLY HELL! …Impressive slam from Sebastian Duke.

HHL: Both Duke’s are down Pip, Mark! This match is anyone’s game now!

PIP: Thad, wisely rolls to the apron!

Flynn: Brilliant ploy. Give yourself time to recover, regain your footing, force your opponent to burn energy chasing after you..

Rolling to his feet on the floor, Thad leans against the apron, looking inside the ring at his father who remains down. Both men are catching their wind. Looking to his left, Thad notices Heyman getting to his feet after the baseball slide from Smith earlier. Leaving the apron, he casually walks up behind Heyman.

Upright and vertical now, Heyman shakes the cobwebs and brushes off his pants before attempting to turn his attention to the match. Instead he comes face to face with Thaddeus Duke. Heyman swallows hard and backs up, begging Thad off. Thad though, has no interest in showing mercy. As Heyman backpedals, Thaddeus steps forward.

HHL: BIG! MAN! COMETH!

As Heyman slowly backpedals up the ramp, Thad stops at the bottom. Coming down the ramp behind Paul Heyman is the man Paulie bumps into to a nice pop from the Icelandic crowd… Cyrus Braddock. Heyman swallows hard and turns around to notice Braddock. Not knowing what way to turn and with nowhere to run, Paulie hits his knees, begging Thad to call off Cyrus.

Looking at Thad for confirmation, Thad nods. Cyrus plants a hard kick to the side of Heyman’s head to another crowd pop. Heyman rolls down the ramp to Thad’s feet but crawls toward the table he set up a few minutes ago.

Cyrus grabs Heyman by his skullet and rips him to his feet. Heyman begs and pleads but Cyrus kicks him in the gut before lifting him up and sends him down through the table with a powerbomb!

HHL: Cyrus Braddock!

PIP: Delivering the Lion’s Justice to Heyman!

Flynn: YES! YANK HIM BY HIS PONYTAIL AND SWING HIM!

XWF Universe: Thank! You! Cy! Rus! clap clap clapclapclap

After exchanging a fist bump, and noticing the crowd rumbling, Braddock shoves Thad hard and the Lionheart falls to his ass and slides toward the ring as Sebastian Duke goes airborne over the top rope with a tope suicida. Thad is free and clear, but Cyrus takes every bit of the gravity defying move.

With Cyrus down and out, Seb starts to get to his feet. Thad continues sitting on his ass, but turns and starts to root around under the ring. Seb grabs Thad by his ankle, but the younger Duke starts to crawl all the way under the ring. Seb though, drags him out from under.

Thad spins to his back, ejecting the contents of a fire extinguisher into his fathers face. Seb is temporarily blinded and the thunder rolls again, kicking up the rains once more. Getting to his feet quickly, Thad uses the extinguisher to hit his dad between the shoulder blades. Still blinded, he has no idea where Thad is. Thad advances up the ramp and gets a running start to nail Seb in the forehead to a louder pop than he’s used to.

Seb falls to his back and is very clearly busted open. Thad tosses the device aside and goes back to ringside where a fan catches his eye.

HHL: This match has taking a drastic turn in terms of brutality!

PIP: Sebastian Duke is bleeding and Thaddeus Duke has taken control of this match!

Flynn: My God, Seb bleeding as his own child has turned against him… Eager to finish his father’s career? This is my every dream come true!

The fan that caught Thad’s eye, has a Louisville Slugger and hands it to Thad. Thad smiles and strikes the ringpost with it, showing that it’s a solid bat. On the ramp, Sebastian Duke has rolled to his hands and knees as Thad starts to stalk him. On one knee now, Thad twirls the bat in his fingers. Seb gets to his feet and turns to find his kid. Thad though swings the bat, impacting his dad in the gut, doubling him over instantly.

HHL: I can almost hear Heyman screaming right now!

PIP: THE SULTAN! OF SWING!

HHL: Pip, please don’t ever go into management.

Flynn: I thought it was good.

HHL: Flynn, don’t encourage him.

PIP: Thank you Mark.

Standing at Seb’s side, Thad swings the bat again, bringing it down across Seb’s back, dropping him to his knees. Thad twirls the bat than drives it barrel first into his dads bleeding head to a roar from the crowd. Retreating to ringside, Thad finds the fan that handed him the bat, grabs a sharpie from a reporter nearby, autographs the bat and hands it back before making his way to the other side of the ring and reaching underneath for more toys to play with.

This time, he finds two: a sledgehammer and a sixteen foot ladder. Sliding the ladder into the ring, he looks up at Smith. Smith asks him to bring it back in the ring. Thad replies with a smile and says Can’t, he’s dead weight.

Grabbing the hammer by the bottom of the handle, he drags it behind him as he zones out a minute. Slowly he makes his way toward his father, dragging the hammer behind him.

HHL: Sebastian Duke might be out cold, guys!

Flynn: Hit him in the skull a few more times. You know, just to check and see.

THAD!

PIP: He hasn’t moved since Thad hit him in the head with the bat!

Thad stands at his fathers feet, looking down at the legend.

THAD! DON’T!

PIP: Smith, yelling something at Thad!

HHL: So many things have got to be going through his mind!

THAD!

PIP: This is absolutely the biggest match of the Lionheart’s career… no offense to Mr. Flynn, of course!

Flynn: None taken. This match decides Thad’s entire legacy. If he doesn’t put Seb down, no matter what he accomplishes, Thad will NEVER set foot in the Hall of Legends.

HHL: Even besides that, Flynn. It’s been well documented just what kind of father Sebastian Duke was and is to Thaddeus! Right now, he looks like a lost soul staring down at not his father, but his mothers killer!

Lifting the sledgehammer up and over his head, he chops it down, aiming for Sebastian Duke’s face…

HHL: OH MY GOD!

PIP: SMITH STOPPED HIM!

Smith bearhugs Thad from the side, causing the hammer to come down just inches from his fathers skull. Thad drops the hammer and looks at Corey. For a moment, Thad loses his composure with Corey’s arms still wrapped around him. Thad falls to his knees, inadvertently bringing Corey with him.

HHL: Words can’t really describe this situation… so I won’t even try.

PIP: Fact is, Corey Smith just stopped his brother from committing… well...

HHL: Murder.

FLYNN: The more specific term is ‘Patricide’ but you’re also correct, Heather.

With help from his friend, Thad regains his composure and gets to his feet. Picking up the sledge, he also grabs a handful of Seb’s hair and starts to pull him to his feet. Still mostly out of it, Sebastian Duke is clay as Thad leads him toward the ring and rolls him onto the apron and into the ring.

After tossing the hammer inside, Thad rolls into the ring and covers his dad. Smith is there for the count.

3!??????????????????????

HHL: Some how, some way!

PIP: Sebastian Duke kicks out!

FLYNN: …Wow.

Thad is almost stunned that his dad kicked out. After a fire extinguisher and a baseball bat to the face, the man still has the wherewithal to kick out. Thad starts to get to his feet and miraculously, so does Sebastian. Noticing this, Thad picks up the ladder he slid in earlier.

As Seb gets to his feet, he stumbles into the corner. With the ladder in hand, Thad rushes toward his dad but Seb big boots the ladder, forcing Thad to drop it. Thad rushes again and this time, Seb boots him in the face. Thad tried to avoid it, but ate most of it and falls to his back.

Seb stumbles over Thad toward the center of the ring and kicks the ladder away for the time being as he leans against the ropes. Thad shakes the cobwebs as he starts to get to his feet. Just as he’s upright, Seb bounces off the ropes and turns him inside out with the clothesline from hell!

HHL: Soul Shot to Thad!

Seb collapses to his knees and rolls Thad over for the pin.

3!?????????????????????????????

HHL: Thad kicked out!

An exhausted and bloodied Sebastian Duke looks up at Corey after leaning off of Thad. Seb counts three, but Corey insists it was two.

HHL: The old man has nothing to complain about. As far as I can tell, every Smith count has been consistent.

FLYNN: Almost TOO consistent! …What’s Corey’s angle being this fair?!?

HHL: Flynn, please…

PIP: Exhaustion, frustration, both setting in!

Grabbing on of Thad’s arms, Seb rolls to his back and pulls Thad over him right into a Hell’s Gate submission!

HHL: PANDORA’S BOX!

PIP: Thad’s got nowhere to go! No way out!

FLYNN: …

Thad kicks his legs wildly as he’s trapped in the hold. Unlike most holds, the more you resist while locked in this one, the worse the effects are. With his free arm, Thad tries to punch his dad in the head and face, but he doesn’t quite have enough reach to get all of it.

HHL: He’s fading!

PIP: Don’t tap!

HHL: He’s never tapped before, Pip! But he might not have a choice!

FLYNN: THAD, DON’T YOU FUCKING DARE!

With his foot, Thad feels the handle of the sledgehammer and starts to inch it toward his free hand. With it finally in reach, Thad grabs the handle just under the head and lifts it up before driving it into his dads skull. Sebastian immediately releases the hold and Thad rolls off of him. Seb clutches his head as he kicks his feet a few times, trying to shake the pain.

Using the hammer to aid him to his feet, Thad tosses the hammer out of the ring to ringside before turning his attention to the ladder. He takes some time to open it and set it up. But as he steps on the first rung to climb, Seb sends an uppercut from behind right up between his legs much to the dismay of the crowd.

HHL: I guess maybe he doesn’t want anymore grandkids!

FLYNN: Just more children to put down! Wise long-term strategy from Seb to put his future challengers down before they can ever be born!

Seb works his way to his feet as Thad falls to the mat holding his groin. Seb bounces off the ropes and leaps into the air, dropping a big elbow onto the small of Thad’s back. Seb gets back to his feet again, feeling the momentum in his favor. Grabbing Thad by his hair, he pulls him to his feet and whips him to the ropes.

On the rebound, Seb goes for a big boot, but Thad ducks underneath to the far side. On that rebound, Seb tries to grip him by the throat but by the time he turns, Thad is already on his way by him. Thad bounces off the ropes again and on this rebound, leaps into the air with a flying forearm to his dad, and both fall to the mat. Thaddeus though, nips up to his feet to overwhelming crowd approval.

HHL: The Lionheart! On his way to the high rent district!

PIP: His New York City penthouse cost like 70 million dollars, Heather. He literally lives in the high rent district!

FLYNN: Still wouldn’t co-sign on a loan with me. Which, I admit, is indicative of his intelligence.

Thad scales the ladder as quickly as he can. After steadying himself on the very top, he leaps…

FLYNN: BOOOOOOOM HAHAHA!!!

HHL: Mother Of All Bombs from the top of a 16 foot ladder!

XWF Universe: LETS! GO! THAD!

After the shooting star press connects, Thad rolls away clutching his now aching midsection for a few quick moments before getting to his feet and peeling off toward the corner, begging Sebastian to get up. Corey meanwhile, discards the ladder. After a few more moments, Sebastian Duke is starting to stir and wills himself to get vertical. It’s a struggle but he finally does so.

Still groggy and full of cobwebs, Seb turns…

SMACK!

HHL: Heat Seeker!

PIP: IT’S OVER!

FLYNN: YES! THE END OF SEBASTIAN DUKE!!!

Thad hooks the leg of Sebastian Duke.

XWF Universe: 1!

2!

3!??????????????????????????????????

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

HHL: My god he kicked out!

FLYNN: FUUUUUUCK… COME ON!!!!

PIP: Thaddeus Duke, showing some frustration!

Thad reaches up and pulls Corey toward him by his shirt and holds three fingers up. Corey smiles and holds up two. Playfully, Thad shoves him away before lying on his back a moment, trying to regain some air. After a few seconds, Thad gets back to his feet as Seb is starting to get up again.

Debating in his head quickly on whether or not to go for another Heat Seeker, Thad just tears across the ring toward his dad.

HHL: Shell Shocked!

Thad goes for his RKO maneuver.

PIP: Sebastian telegraphs!

After Thad leaps, Sebastian shoves him off and Thad crashes hard to the mat. Sebastian staggers back, but hooks the ropes to stop himself from falling down. Getting himself vertical, he stands in wait as Thad is working his way back to his feet.

As Thad turns, he finds himself in the death grip of his fathers right hand.

HHL: Thad is wide eyed! And in trouble!

PIP: CHOKE SLAM!

Seb falls to his knees and hooks Thad’s leg as Corey hit the mat.

1…

2…

3!??????????????????????????????

HHL: KICK! OUT!

PIP: Jesus Christ these Duke’s are hard to beat!

FLYNN: God dammit, I’m 43 years old, I can’t take much more of these nearfalls… They’re terrible for my heart…

Seb looks astonished for a quick minute that Thad kicked out. He gets back to his feet as Thad remains on the mat. Standing over Thad, he grips him by his throat and starts to pull him to his feet. Once he’s vertical, Seb lifts him up and choke slams him to the mat again. This time, knowing Thad is beat, Seb places his foot on Thad’s chest and starts to raise his arms in victory as Corey hits the mat for the count.

1…

2…

3!?????????????????????????????????????

HHL: HE KICKED OUT AGAIN!

Seb looks at Corey a moment then reaches down and slaps Thad in the face to a chorus of boos.

XWF Universe: LETS! GO! THAD!

HHL: It can’t go unnoticed that, whether he intended it to or not, Duke Nation was reborn tonight here in Iceland!

FLYNN: Never thought I’d have something in common with fucking Icelanders, but here we are..

Out of both frustration and a desire to humiliate his son, once more, Sebastian reaches down and slaps Thad in the face.

XWF Universe: LETS! GO! THAD!

PIP: There are times Heather, he makes it really hard to hate him. Showing the resilience and the toughness he showed tonight, I’m not sure the Universe had much of a choice but to wave the golden banners of the Lionheart!

Leaning over, Sebastian once again grips Thaddeus by his throat…

HHL: END GAME! END GAME! END GAME!

PIP: HE’S LOCKED HIM UP TIGHT!

FLYNN: And so the dance begins…

When Seb gripped him by his throat again, Thad locked him in the Hell’s Gate submission to a roar from the Universe.

HHL: The King is struggling!

FLYNN: Note that Seb’s options are to lift out or slip out… Thad’s got him held in an optimal grip, so counters are limited.

Seb plants both feet on the surface of the ring, like he did earlier and tries to lift Thad off the mat. He does so, but only a couple of inches.

PIP: Sebastian Duke, trying to power his way out of this hold!

Seb tries again to lift Thad up off the mat to power out. This time, he gets him about a foot off the mat before dropping him again.

HHL: The Lionheart! Refusing to break the hold!

PIP: He’s got his legs wrapped and his ankles hooked, Heather!

FLYNN: MAJOR miscalculation by Seb, tried to counter in a way that burned a lot of fuel in his tank… Thad’s grip has only gotten tighter…

One more time, Seb tries to power Thad up off the mat. He almost gets to the tipping point but Thad’s grip is unrelenting and Seb falls forward with his legs outward. He has no escape.

HHL: Three times he tried to power out!

PIP: Three times his own body betrayed him!

FLYNN: Seb lacked the raw power to lift Thad up the first time! Each time it took a little more strength… Seb dug as deep as he could and has struggled his way into a checkmate!

Credit to Thad for masterfully knowing when to exert his body downwards to break his father’s strength. Only the most skilled submission artists in the world can overpower a man literally twice their size.

Seb continues to fight and even lands a couple punches into Thad’s face but even still, Thad refuses to give up the hold. Finally, at long last…

FLYNN: YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS…

HHL: HE TAPPED! HE TAPPED!

Smith signals for the bell.

PIP: THE LIONHEART IS VICTORIOUS OVER HIS FATHER AT FIRE & ICE!

Thad finally releases the hold and crawls out from under Sebastian’s near unconscious body.

WINNER by submission – Thaddeus Duke

HHL: And this crowd! Showering Thaddeus Duke with love!

Flynn: If I had to review Thad’s performance tonight in one word? I’d say… “Legendary.”

Mark Flynn abandons commentary as Corey Smith abandons the ring. Thad sits in the middle of the ring as ‘My Name Is Human’ plays for the first time in what in Thad’s mind feels like forever. Pyro explodes in repeated bursts from the X-Tron with the number 50 in gold colors.

For a moment, the cameras focus on the defeated King of Darkness as the thunder fades and the rain stops before again refocusing on the Lionheart.

HHL: Beaten, battered and bruised… Pip, Thaddeus Duke continues to be a big match competitor and these fans...

PIP: I don’t really know what to make of it all, Heather! Notching his 50th career victory tonight has got to be on his mind, but so much emotion too!

HHL: There’s been a love/hate kind of relationship since last spring between the Universe and Thaddeus Duke but tonight Pip… It’s turned into nothing but love for the Lionheart and I’m not sure he knows how to take it!

XWF Universe: Get up off your knees boy!

In the ring, Thad struggles to his feet with Flynn and Smith looking on from the top of the ramp. As he gets vertical he looks around at all corners of the XWF Universe.

XWF Universe: Stand face to face with your God! Find out what you are!

HHL: And the Universe! Serenading Thaddeus Duke here in Iceland!

Thad exits the ring and slowly makes his way up the ramp, backpedaling as the crowd continues to sing his song. As he nears Flynn and Smith, Thad grabs Smith by his shirt and pulls him into a short brotherly hug before playfully shoving him away.

Again turning his attention to the crowd, Thad taps his chest twice with his right fist before throwing up the “I love you” hand sign just as Flynn and Smith disappear backstage. Moments later, Thad joins them through the curtain.

Jenny Myst walks out to the ring while her music plays. The crowd boos her as she eyes Centurion menacingly.

HHL: “Jenny has come back to the XWF and she has been on a mean streak. The general managers must have a lot of faith in Jenny Myst to be giving her this shot at a title opportunity so early in her comeback.”

PC: “Jenny Myst is kinda weird now, Heather, and I don’t know how to feel about that. It’s kinda off putting, this isn’t the same Jenny Myst that Centurion is used to.”

Centurion walks to the ring while his music plays. He enjoys a loud pop from the crowd as he steps into the ring and begins preparing himself for the match.

HHL: “No fancy entrances here from Centurion, he’s just coming out to the ring to handle his business tonight!”

PC: “And you have to respect that, Heather!”

The referee begins the count out procedure as Centurion rises to a standing ovation! Centurion reaches down and grabs Jenny Myst before he flings her into the steel staircase attached to the corner of the ring! There is a loud echo throughout the arena as Jenny’s body clamors against the steel! The referee continues counting and doesn’t stop until Centurion grabs Jenny once more and rolls her into the ring. Centurion slides in right behind Jenny Myst before jumping up to his feet immediately!

PC: “The momentum is on Centurion’s side!”

HHL: “Centurion seems determined to challenge for the TV championship! He already held it down for the XWF ever Thursday night as the Anarchy champion, and now he’s trying to be THAT GUY on Saturday nights!”

PC: “Jenny Myst needs to turn the momentum around if she wants to cash in on this title shot opportunity!”

Jenny Myst is much slower to rise, and Centurion is stalking her every move all the way! Just when the moment is right Centy lifts Jenny up on his shoulders before dropping her with a Cent Smart Bomb (death valley driver)! Jenny Myst’s body slams against the mat and the crowd cheers jubilantly. Centurion hooks her leg and the referee drops down to the count the pinfall!

KICKOUT!

HHL: “Amazing kick out by Jenny Myst! I thought Centurion had her there!”

PC: “This match just keeps getting better and better, but Jenny is going to need to do a whole lot more than kick out to turn the tides in this one!”

Centurion seems surprised at the kick out, but he isn’t sweating it! He picks Jenny Myst up and drags her to a standing position. Centurion wraps his arms around Jenny’s head as he begins to try and apply some advanced wrestling technique, but before he can really try Jenny’s teeth are buried deep into his skin! Jenny bites Centurion like a ravenous wolf, forcing the veteran to cry out in pain!

PC: “She’s BITING him!”

HHL: “That’s on you, Pip! You said she needed to change up her tactics and she did!”

The referee is screaming at Jenny Myst to stop the biting, and eventually she does, but only at the last possible second! She releases the bite and Centurion immediately pulls a bloody limb away from Jenny! Jenny turns around and smiles at a very worried Centurion before she lets a bloody piece of Cent’s flesh slide out of her mouth and onto the mat.

PC: “Jenny Myst is a psycho who needs to be locked up! She’s making a habit out of this sick stuff! She took one of Charlie’s ears, and now she’s taken a chunk out of Centurion’s arm!”

Jenny Myst bounces off the ropes behind her and rebounds towards Centurion as the older wrestler freaks out about the moderately small amount of skin tissue missing from his arm. Jenny leaps into the air and comes down on Cent with a Thesz Press immediately followed by a flurry of punches to the face! Centurion is grounded on the mat and eating punch after punch as Jenny Myst just unloads on him.

HHL: “Jenny Myst has absolutely turned around the momentum in this match! She is on a roll!”

PC: “The only reason it’s this close is because Jenny cheated throughout the whole match! Low blows, ignoring strike counts, and BITING?!?! The referee needs to open his eyes!”

HHL: “She’s straddling the line, Pip! The referee is letting them play and I respect that!”

After a good deal of punches Jenny Myst reaches out and grabs the piece of flesh from Cent’s arm that is laying on the mat. Jenny grabs the fleshy bit and waves it in front of Centurion mockingly. Jenny Myst hits Centurion in the face with the bloody cut of meat, leaving a splash of blood on Cent’s face.

PC: “This is disgusting!”

HHL: “Yeah, this is actually pretty gross.”

Centurion is finally able to end the torment after getting his right fist free from Jenny’s hold. Centurion brings his free hand up and slugs Jenny in the face, forcing her to back off of him! Centurion and Jenny both scramble up to their feet as the crowd goes apeshit from the rafters.

Myst reaches out towards Centurion’s arm trying to claw at the bloody open wound but Centurion spins around and grabs a chunk of Jenny’s hair and yanks her down to the ground. Myst quickly rolls over and slaps the mat in anger. She leaps up at Centurion like a rabid lioness and somehow, someway Centurion manages to catch her in mid air and sets her up on his shoulders to the delight of the crowd.

Centurion spins around in the ring and without wasting another second puts the crazed Jenny Myst down with the rarely used Fabula Nova Crystallis, a devastating one winged angel that no one recovers from.

A clearly winded but not defeated Centurion rolls over and covers Jenny Myst as the crowd continues to go bonkers.

HHL: A truly great match put on by both competitors. Jenny Myst tried every trick in the book to get the W but the grizzled vet got the last laugh. We are now 6 matches into Fire and Ice, not including the Duke Legacy, let’s take a look at the standings and see who has the early lead.

TELEVISION TITLE MATCH

MICHEAL GRAVES
- vs -
CHARLIE NICKLES ©

Standard Charlie Nickles Can Name Any Specific Stips In His First Promo
Savage Rules

Pip: "So, what exactly is this "Graves Graveyard Escape Match," Heather?"

HHL: "Well, Pip, the gist of it is that it does not have the standard 15 minute time limit like other Television Title affairs but instead of a normal match, it's a no DQ match set inside of this old graveyard that we somehow managed to trick the local Athletic commission into sanctioning for a wrestling match."

Pip: "That sounds like a flagrant abuse of the XWF's funding!"

HHL: "And how! To win, Graves must escape through the gate at the entrance of the Cemetery and make his way to the XWF Safe car waiting to take him to safety."

Pip: "And Charlie?"

HHL: "He just has to stop Graves."

Pip: "Of course Nickles chose a strategically advantageous stipulation! Pretty clever for a guy with more concussions than IQ points!"

HHL: "Seems awfully cowardly, if you ask me. But enough bickering, the match is about to begin!"

The two combatants eye each other carefully, Lady Gravy taking stock of the larger and equally demented looking Charlie Nickles, dark clouds gathering overhead. A storm slowly approaches. A nearby grandfather clock set up in the graveyard in front of a large tomb begins to chime as referee Wang raises an arm to signify the beginning of the match!

*BONG, BONG*

Graves darts past Nickles, looking to make quick work of the match and take the title from the champion in seconds flat, only to be caught by Nickles, who latches onto his leg, dragging Michael through some of the loose soil as he lifts himself up. The Nickleman yanks Graves towards him, wrapping his arms around Gravy's waist and hitting a German Suplex, rocking Graves as it connects directly into a headstone!

HHL: "Now that's no way to start for Graves! He's gotta figure out something soon or this is gonna snowball into a defecit throughout the rest of the match!"

Pip: "Which I would be perfectly ok with Heather!"

HHL: "I mean, regardless of the brutality, its hard to say its happening to somebody undeserving of it."

Favoring his neck as he lifts up, only to be ran over with one of Charlie's big boots, Graves falls into the dirt, the specks of soil already beginning to coat his clothing and skin. Charlie steps out towards a shovel, shouting at the camera crew to move as he motions them away to pick up one of the spades, walking to Graves location and lifting the shovel up high to bash the Dark Warrior over the head with it!

But Graves intervenes! He lifts up a vase from one of the displays and smashes it against Charlie's groin! Flowers and dirt crumble downward as the porcelain shatters against the Little Nickleman! Charlie doubles over in pain, dropping the shovel as he crumples to his knees, clutching onto his crotch. Graves grabes the shovel and positions himself behind Charlie, using the large wooden handle of the tool to choke the TV Champ!

HHL: Smart move by Graves there.

Charlie grasps at the spade, unable to break Graves' hold over his neck. In a moment of hardocre ingenuinity, Charlie, grabs one of the shards of the vase and jabs it into Graves's forehead, causing the Dark Warrior to cry out in pain at the rough slicing of skin and let go of the shovel, letting it drop before Nickles, who grabs it with a swift glee. As the blood begins to coat Michael's face, he swipes at his eyes to clear up his vision, feeling a few rain droplets plummet from above before feeling the flat side of the shovel against his stomach, the impact cracking it in half!

Pip: That's gonna leave a mark.

The wooden splinters scratch some of Michael's skin as he bends forward, eating a headbutt from the titanium skull of Nickles! Charlie grips Grave's hair and begins attempting to drag his body to a nearby tomb, only to relent and lay Michael across a tombstone, gripping onto one of the pillars of the tomb and leaning himself against it before rushing at Graves for a running knee! But Graves pushes himself off the tombstone, leaving Charlie hurdling towards the head of the grave, striking his knee hard against the marble and favoring his knee heavily as he shouts and curses in pain!

HHL: Looks like that gravestone did some serious damage to Charlie's knee there.

Pip: I've been told gravestones are very unforgiving.

Graves attempts to start heading towards the exit, unable to immediately recognize the right direction to head, the crimson mask still obstructing his vision. As he finally spots the gate in the distance, he begins to pick up a pace forwards only to trip up when caught by Charlie's hand!

THE MUDDY NICKLEMAN IS CRAWLING THROUGH THE DIRT AS THE RAINFALL BEGINS TO PICK UP, ONE HAND GRIPPED ON GRAVE'S ANKLE!

Graves acts fast, summoning a foul concoction from his chest, spitting blood red mist into Charlie's eyes! The TV Champion cries out in pain as the bloody breath burns his face with the intensity of Elephant mace! Michael picks himself up, breathing heavily as the rain begins to pour down more heavily, a boom of thunder crackling in the distance. He watches as the rain begins to wash the mist from the Champ's face, finding some energy to start rushing towards the exit, only to slip on the now slick mud. Graves picks himself up as Charlie does the same, both men covered with the damp soil of the cemetery, realizing what needs to be done. They rush at one another! Both men are looking for an opportunity to get the upper hand!

Michael, using the head of a grave to get some air, hits a crossbody on Charlie! Nickles struggles a bit to get up, his left knee beginning to truly feel the impact from earlier. A smirk covers Graves face as he motions for Charlie to rise to his feet, landing a standing dropkick to the injured leg of Charlie Nickles as soon as the Champion stands up! The Nickleman collapses to the ground, struggling to even raise himself up to his knees as Gravy walks towards him, yanking on his hair and forcing him closer to the tomb and grandfather clock. Graves lifts Nickles body and hits a fall away slam into the clock!

*BONG*

Nickles's body smashes against the clock, shards of glass and wood, puncturing his skin! Charlie looks like he's out, but Graves isn't finished yet! Dragging Charlie's body into the tomb, Graves lifts him up once more, landing the Final Nail on the marble floor on the tomb! Graves shouts out in a wave of violence and pain!

HHL: "It looks like that's Graves best chance at putting away Nickles! But it seems like that piledriver did a number of Graves knees!"

Pip: "Well, it did a whole lot more to Charlie's head and that's what really matters!"

As fast as he can, which is far slower than he would prefer, Graves saunters towards the exit, seeing a straight shot to the gate. Each step brings intense pain, but Michael continues forward, only looking back occasionally to see if Nickles has somehow gotten to his feet. His eyes focus on the tomb, the rain obscuring its contents.

No sign of Nickles.

Graves takes a breath, smirking as victory comes closer and closer, the exit only a dozen or so meters away. Focused only on the goal, Michael nearly slips on the side of an open grave, an open casket collecting and absorbing some of the rain fall as Graves regains his footing and steps closer to the gate. The headlights of the exit car are like bright beacons as the graveyard gets further cascaded by night and water. Graves hears something from behind him.

Laughter.

Following his trail on the path, still only halfway caught up to Michael, The Nickleman is risen and there is a psychotic glint in his expression, blood pouring and mixing with the rain and mud on his face in a truly deranged fashion. He quickly limps towards Graves, who is struggling to open the gate, a chain and lock securing it closed. Graves searches for something to break it open, finding a nearby shovel and striking the flat end against the chain.

The sound of clanging metal is thunderous, but the lock stays secure and Charlie continues to approach. Graves strikes it again, wasting no time.

Again, the chain holds.

Cursing under his breath, Graves inspects the chain rapidly before determining a weakest link and plunging the sharp edge of the spade into it!

The chain falls and Graves wastes no time in looking backwards. But as Michael opens the gate, he finds his neck violently crushed by the gate swinging closed, pinching Graves head!

Charlie has caught up to him. As Graves is choked between the bars of the gate, he stabs the sharp end of the shovel into Charlie's kneecap weakly. Nickles falls over, but Graves is doing his best to catch his breath and head towards the Exitcar! He crawls, grasping his neck, scratching at the dirt beneath him, only to feel the flat metal of the shovel smack against the back of his head. Charlie begins to grapple Michael away from the exit, looking for a single leg crab, but struggling due to his knee attempting to give out. Still, Charlie pulls Graves back into the cemetery somewhat, eyeing the open grave. Graves breaks free of the crab, finally getting to his feet and preparing to finish off Charlie once and for all, but The Nickleman catches Graves' attempt at a strike and hits the BIG SIDEWALK SLAM ONTO THE OPEN CASKET! Water splashes as the bodies of the two men crash down onto it!

HHL: "Charlie took a ton of that impact as well! Whoever recovers first has this match won!"

After some moments without a single movement, a hand raises up, shutting the casket and climbing out of the hole in the Earth.

It's…

It's…

IT'S CHARLIE NICKLES!!

He grabs the shovel and begins shoveling dirt and mud atop the casket, laughing like mad as the rain becomes more intense and the referee signals for the end!

The hymn-like hum vibrates through the area before Lauren Hill soundfully brings in the chorus of the Fugees’ “Ready or Not”. Jason Cashe comes out from the back, eyes covered in sunglasses. Looking around the arena at the live audience, his eyes stay hidden behind the shades. Taking a long drag off an air joint, Cashe howls up into the sky, a few fans howl with him..

]ANNOUNCER: From Houston, Tejas by way of Decatur, Georgia.. A truly Troubled One they call DiOGee.. Jaaaassoooon! CAAAASHE!!

Stopping as the aisle turns to ringside, Cashe drags a foot creating an imaginary line. This is the line where when passed, the talking stops. He steps into a jog, leaping up on the apron onto his left knee. He stands, ducking under the top rope to enter the ring. Taking off the sunglasses as he enters, he rushes across the ring and launches them deep into the crowd. Growling a roar to the live audience, he shows he is ready to scrap.

PIP: This match has been a long time in the making, tracing back to when Thunder Knuckles and Bobby Bourbon added the OCW Tag Team Championships to the XWF championships that they already had.

HHL: That’s right. Jason Cashe, alongside Cyrus Riddle, were tasked with winning the OCW championships back from Them No Good Bastards - a task which they managed to accomplish!

PIP: But that wasn’t enough, and the fight between the two has continued to Cashe now being here in the XWF seeking to once and for all settle the score against Thunder Knuckles.

HHL: In an Anything Goes Match! This match must end inside the ring, but outside of that, there will be no countouts, no disqualifications…

PIP: The name says it all! Anything Goes!

Twenty midgets with sparkers in both hands held as high as their little arms can reach, line both sides of the entrance ramp. The sparkers ignite as Thunder Knuckles walks past them.

ANNOUNCER: From Lima, Ohio, he is a former TV and Tag Team Champion as well as A No Good Bastard, Thundeeeeer! KNUUUCKLES!!

Once Thunder Knuckles is down to the ring he rolls under the bottom rope and in one movement he pops up to his feet. With his back turned towards the camera, he raises his right fist in defiance. As soon as his fist goes up, counterfeit xbux with Thunder Knuckles' face on them fall onto the crowd.

XTREME #1 CONTENDERSHIP

JASON CASHE

THUNDER KNUCKLES

Anything Goes
Savage Rules

The referee rings the bell as the two competitors begin to circle each other. Both take a few steps towards each other until TK backs off rapidly, dropping to the mat and rolling underneath the bottom rope to the outside. Cashe yells at him from inside the ring, urging TK to return. TK simply smirks and flips Cashe the bird. The referee calls to TK to get him back into the ring as well, but also gets a middle finger for his troubles. There’s nothing more the ref can do!

PIP: This is smart by TK here. He’s an expert and getting under people’s skin, and that’s exactly what it seems like is happening to Jason Cashe right now!

HHL: It might work to rile Cashe up, but TK can’t win the match out there!

As TK smugly walks around the outside, Cashe gets fed up and slides under the bottom rope to follow him. TK picks up the pace a little bit to keep out of Cashe’s reach, but the gap begins closing. Before Cashe can get his hands on him, TK rolls back into the ring. Cashe follows and is met with a falling elbow to the back of the head. TK keeps up the pressure, raining elbows and fists onto the back of Cashe’s head.

PIP: I told you! TK’s smart!

HHL: And you might have been the first person in history to have said that.

Leaving Cashe clutching the back of his head, TK rises and opens his arms out wide for the fans, receiving a very mixed response.

PIP: A lot of love for Thunder Knuckles here in Iceland.

HHL: A lot of hate too.

As Cashe pushes himself up to his feet, TK charges in with a running knee. At the last minute, Cashe rolls out of the way and TK bounces off the ropes. On his feet now, it's Cashe who goes on the offensive, jabbing away at TK and forcing the former Television and Tag Team Champion to cover up. He retreats to the corner where Cashe starts alternating between the jabs, some body shots, and some open hand slaps. The referee tries to admonish him for keeping TK in the corner, but Cashe is wise to the stipulation and doesn't let up. He's not the only one wise to it though. TK opens up a little, absorbing some blows to give him space to stomp Cashe on the foot which breaks his flow long enough for TK to deliver a two fingered poke in the eyes. Cashe backs off holding his eyes, and TK looks to press the attack only for Cashe to snap straight into position before he gets there, ready to throw hands again. TK backs off, rolling out of the ring again and once more sending a middle finger Cashe’s way. The crowd boos, but TK just laughs and turns the finger on them.

That's an opening that Cashe is more than happy to exploit. He slides out and begins chase once more, leaving TK with no option but to slide into the ring again. Following after, Cashe dodges another falling elbow from TK and grabs him by the head. Cashe sends a series of headbutts directly into his foes face before dragging TK to his feet and delivering a snap suplex. He floats over into a cover.

1…

TW… TK kicks out right on two.

HHL: Cashe with the first cover of the match. He doesn’t seem to be letting Thunder Knuckles's arrogance get to him.

PIP: Yet.

TK begins to roll towards the ropes and begins to pull himself up on the outside apron. Cashe sees an opening and ricochets himself towards the opposite ropes. Rebounding, he surges towards Thunder Knuckles, going for a spear through the ropes.

TK moves at the last moment!

Cashe goes crashing to the outside!!

PIP: Nobody's home!

TK visible mouths some naughty words as he flops down onto the outside. He staggers over to where Cashe is crumpled against the barrier, and begins to stomp on Cashe’s writhing body. Paying particular attention to Cashe's left leg, he pulls at the ankle, positioning it in the corner between the ground and the barrier before stomping it in isolation and driving a couple of knees into it.

HHL: That missed spear by Jason Cashe has really allowed the momentum to swing in Thunder Knuckles' favor.

TK drags Cashe to his feet, who stumbles a little as he gets up. Pulling him by the ear, TK begins smashing him off a medley of objects in the environment. First, his face bounces off the edge of the ring, then back off the ringside barricade, then off the ring post, then the steel stairs themselves. Cashe slides off the steps, and TK just watches him with a grin on his face. The smile turns devious as an idea forms in his mind. He wrestles with the steps, pulling them loose and eyeing up his fallen opponent. Instead of smashing Cashe with the steps, however, he places them down on top of Cashe's left leg.

HHL: Oh no, it looks like Thunder Knuckles is really looking to hone on Jason Cashe's leg here.

PIP: I told you, TK is smart!

In all his genius, TK takes a few steps back and readies a run-up. He launches forward, and leaps up into the air looking to stomp down on top of the steps which are in turn on top of Cashe's ankle!

Cashe moves! He yanks his leg out at the last moment and the resulting shift in movement of the steps actually trips Thunder Knuckles up a little, causing him to reach for the side of the ring for balance.

PIP: So close.

HHL: Not close enough. Is this the opening that Cashe needs?

It certainly gives him some time to get his eyes back on his opponent. He tries to get to his feet in the corner of the ringside area, but TK is back on him. Cashe shoves him away as he gets his right foor under him for support, but TK is back before long. He helps Cashe the rest of his way to his feet and then, with a glance behind him to the steel steps, he lifts Cashe even further onto a scoop slam.

HHL: Oh, not onto the steps!

Not onto the steps indeed. Cashe wriggles down behind TK, and falls on the opposite side of the steps. His eyes widen at the opportunity before him and he leaps in the air.

HHL: U.T.I.! Onto the steel steps! What a game changer!

Pain shoots up TK's spine as Cashe lands his signature, jumping, cutter-like neckbreaker, bringing the crowd to its feet.

HHL: There is no world in which that doesn’t hurt.

Taking some damage from the move himself, Cashe pulls himself up and rolls into the ring.

HHL: Smart move by Cashe to get back into the ring, considering the match can only end there.

PIP: Would have been smarter if he brought TK with him. Thunder Knuckles would have.

HHL: You mean the guy who just got his spine readjusted?

PIP: Shut up.

Cashe uses the ropes on one side of the ring to pull himself up, as TK, still in pain, manages to slowly clamber up onto the apron.

HHL: Wait a minute. Cashe is not going to…

Spear through the ropes, sending both men back outside!

HHL: He hit it! He got all of it that time!

PIP: But at what cost? Both men are down!

TK rolls across the ground in pain, while Cashe slowly begins to claw his way along the ground. He nears the edge of the ring but instead of using it to pull himself up, he pushes his weight forward until he's half underneath it.

HHL: What on earth?

After several moments of Cashe rummaging underneath, he finally rolls back out with a smile on his face.

And in his hands…

A cheese grater.

PIP: What a bastard. And not the good kind.

HHL: It’s anything goes, Pip! Thunder Knuckles used a cheese grater on Cashe's head back at Bad Medicine, and in the lead-up to tonight, he teased doing it once more. It looks like Cashe has preempted it and brought a grater of his own!

With the grater in his hand, Cashe struggles to his feet and staggers towards a still reeling Thunder Knuckles. He grabs TK by the mullet and jerks his head back.

He starts grating TK's face.

HHL: Jason Cashe is showing Thunder Knuckles here what he's willing to do in order to become the number one contender for the X-Treme Championship!

Thunder Knuckles howls in pain as blood begins to seep from the ripped flesh. Cashe, satisfied with the crimson flowing down his opponent's face, drops the grater to the ground and for good measure, gives TK a big ol' wet willy. With a concerted effort, he tries to hoist the bloodied (and thoroughly embarrassed after that finger in his ear) TK up and roll him into the ring. He doesn’t follow, however, electing to make his way around the outside of the ring towards the timekeeper's area.

PIP: Interesting choice by Jason Cashe, in not following TK into the ring.

HHL: It looks like he's trying to do some more damage.

PIP: Could be a mistake.

Urging the timekeeper up, Cashe gives him a shove out of the way and snatches his steel chair up. Collapsing it, he gives it a little whack against the barrier, causing a rattle to ring out around the arena. Satisfied, he takes it towards the ring and slides the chair under the ropes. Following after, he reaches to pick it up…

But a foot, pressed firmly on top of the chair, stops him.

Cashe looks up to see Thunder Knuckles smirking from underneath the blood on his face.

"Surprise, motherfucker."

A stiff boot from TK connects with Cashe's chin, rocking him. TK presses on, kneeing Cashe in the side of the temple, which bumps him free of the chair. TK collects his prize and whallops Cashe across the head with the chair. Once. Twice. Three times. Cashe falls face first, with blood dripping from a gash that opens on the top of his head. TK rolls him over and goes for the cover.

1…

2…

Cashe's shoulder launches from the mat!

HHL: He almost had him there!

PIP: Not long now! TK already knows what to do next!

The chair is in his hands once more and he sets his sights on Cashe's ankle. He slides Cashe's left foot into the middle of the chair and delivers a massive stomp to it. Cashe jerks in response, doing what he can to shake the chair loose. It's not enough, however, and TK stomps on the trapped foot once more. Cashe screams out in pain. He clutches his ankle, managing to get the chair loose, but an elbow drop from TK to the chest opens up his leg once more, and TK quickly snaps an ankle lock onto that same left foot.

The ref drops down to check if Cashe will quit.

HHL: Cashe is in big trouble here! It looks like he's getting towards the ropes though!

Sure enough, through his thrashing, Cashe is able to grab hold of the bottom rope with both of his hands.

PIP: It doesn’t matter though! Anything Goes! TK doesn't have to break the hold!

And he doesn't. If anything, Thunder Knuckles just locks the hold in even further.

Cashe fights with all he has!

With one last heave, he uses the ropes to pull himself forward either enough strength to pull TK with him.

Thunder Knuckles tumbles through the middle rope to the outside, while Cashe slides off the apron to the mat outside as well.

HHL: Wow, these two really don't want to keep this thing in the ring.

PIP: Cashe is effectively hobbled at this point though. All it would take is one Foot DDT to do him in at this point.

HHL: And we know how effective that Thunder Strike can be! It's put away Universal Champions like Chris Page and Robert Main before!

With Cashe struggling to stand, it's TK who gets to his feet first. The jeering from a gangly ginger kid with glasses in the front row draws his attention, and Thunder Knuckles has another middle finger ready for the kid. That break is just the opening that Cashe needs to…

Throw something at TK?

PIP: What the hell was that?

HHL: Uh… I think Jason Cashe just threw a wrench at Thunder Knuckles.

It hits TK's back with force enough to get him to cover up, but doesn't knock him down. TK turns around only to get a hand full of nails thrown at him from the seated Cashe. He covers up again, just in time to block a bucket from smacking him in the face. A hammer follows, but TK dodges at the last second and it smacks the ginger kid in the face.

A lightbulb goes off above TK's head, and nobody is really sure if it's literal or metaphorical (this is the XWF, after all). Grabbing the kid by the collar, TK drags him over the barricade and throws the fucking kid at Jason Cashe!

HHL: Jesus Christ!

Cashe, having been pulling out whatever he can find underneath the ring behind him, winds up with a trash can lid in his hand, which he swats the kid away with.

HHL: Jesus Christ redux!

PIP: Look at that kid's Dad! He's wearing a Bastards shirt and is cheering TK on!

Fed up, Thunder Knuckles hones in on Jason Cashe again. As he approaches, Cashe kicks out with his good leg at TK's shin. It halts him momentarily - just long enough for that same good foot of Cashe's to find it's way to TK's groin!

PIP: That’s a low blow!

HHL: You know the deal, Pip…

PIP: Yeah, yeah, yeah… anything goes...

The dick shot drops TK to his knees in front of TK, which allows Cashe to smash the trash can lid across his head. TK staggers away, crawling towards, and then up, the steel steps. He falls into the ring, content to have put space between himself and Cashe.

HHL: This is Cashe’s moment! He's got to follow up!

PIP: He can't though! He can't even stand!

He's trying though. Through sheer force of will, Cashe hops up onto one leg, and rolls into the ring. Both he and TK try to stand at the same time, with Cashe being forced to rely on the ropes to help himself up.

TK runs at him!

But Cashe throws himself at TK's knees, sending TK off-kilter, face-first into the middle turnbuckle. He pulls himself up to standing, turns…

And is met with a hooking elbow!

HHL: Mark of JASON! He hit it! Cashe might have used every last bit of strength he had in his legs for that!

PIP: But it's taken a lot out of him! Both men are down!

But Cashe is moving! He crawls towards TK and drapes an arm across his chest.

1…

2…

THR… KICKOUT!

PIP: Thunder Knuckes kicks out!

HHL: And both men are still down!

The ref checks on each of them, but there's nothing he can do but wait as each man slowly, very slowly, gets to their knees.

And they start trading blows!

HHL: What’s it going to take to separate these two? What's it going to take to crown the next number one contender for the X-Treme title?

From his knees, TK is able to push to his feet first, while Cashe's leg gives out again. This lets TK get the upper hand in their exchange, and he catches a punch from Cashe, spinning him around into a Full Nelson. With a grunt, TK picks Cashe up for a Full Nelson Slam, but Cashe spins at the top and lands behind Thunder Knuckles. Russian Leg Sweep! Onto the steel chair that was still in the ring! TK is out! Cashe uses the ropes once more to once more pull himself to his feet.

HHL: Cover him!

But Cashe doesn't. With the last of his strength, Cashe pulls TK to his feet and locks in a double-underhook.

HHL: He's going for the double-underhook piledriver he calls the Scrap Action Driver!

PIP: The S.A.D.? That's a sad name.

Positioned over top of the chair, he lifts TK up!

But Cashe's ankle gives out! TK wriggles out, and scoops Cashe's leg put from under him. Cashe's back hits the mat, but his foot is still in TK's hand!

PIP: THUNDER STRIKE!!!

Thunder Knuckles drives Cashe's foot into the chair!

HHL: Does the chair even make this move worse?

PIP: It doesn’t matter!

TK covers!

HHL: Oh my God! Thunder Knuckles did it! The damage to Cashe's leg was just too much to overcome!

Winner: Thunder Knuckles

HHL: We have a new number one contender for the X-Treme Championship and a new leader in the House Standings.

Thunder Knuckles is helped to his feet, and the referee raises their hand.

That was a battle for the eons!

With what we just saw, fire and ice took a back seat to Thunder and…

...stoner.

That was, uh…

They can't all be gems!

As TK and Cashe look at one another following their brutal confrontation, the lights dim. Both men look up toward the entrance ramp, and see Kyle Gas, dressed in medieval bardic garb carrying his guitar, and Jack Black, dressed like a viking and carrying his guitar as well, walk out! The crowd erupts upon seeing both men! Kyle strums and both men begin to perform.

As they play, a team of employees from Popeyes chicken wheel out a massive vat ringside!

Who ordered Popeyes?

It’s Louisiana Fire!

As they bring it ringside, they uncover the vat to reveal several tons of mashed potatoes! Shortly after, even more staff from some unknown Popeyes roll out a massive cannon, painted bright red!

POPEYES WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

WHO DOORDASHED ARTILLERY TO ICELAND!?

As Tenacious D finish their song, Jack Black pulls a cord on the cannon, firing it! I large, man shaped projectile rockets out of it, and the guy lands squarely, and safely, in a massive vat of mashed potatoes. Both TK and Cashe look inquisitively at what just happened as the man crawls out of the potatoes and into the ring, glopping gravy and spud alike hither dither. Both Cashe and TK look prepared to defend themselves from the hulking figure, until…

He removes his helmet, splattering more potatoes and gravy around…

Revealing…

IT’S BOBBY BOURBON!

Bobby grins at both Cashe and TK. He tosses the helmet into the crowd for one lucky fan, then grabs TK's and Cashe's wrists with potato encrusted mitts. He raises both men's hands! He then pulls them both in for an extraordinarily starchy embrace! The crowd is going potatoes bananas!

Bobby Bourbon just got shot out of a cannon to congratulate both men!

With that, Bobby hoists Jason Cashe up into a gorilla press and hurls him into the potato pool! TK laughs, until he gets press slammed from the ring into the vat of potatoes! Both Cashe and TK look bewildered as Bobby shoots off the ropes and dives over the top rope into the potatoes, emerging and splashing both men with gravy!

FOOD FIGHT!

The crowd in Reykjavik goes wild, hurling popcorn, french fries, and other snacks everywhere around the arena! Bobby, TK, and Cashe each start slinging handfulls of mashed potatoes and gravy out into the crowd and at the very well traveled Popeyes staff!

A single spotlight shines on the a stage off to the left of the main entrance. The only thing appearing on the stage is a lone podium with the XWF Hall of Legends logo on it. After a few seconds Theo Pryce steps to the podium. He adjusts the microphone before addressing the crowd.

Theo Pryce: "XWF Universe it's been a while since we have had one of these and our hope is to get back on track with having these induction ceremonies more regularly in the coming year. There are definitely a few names on the short list and we expect the committee to submit their final votes for this year sometime in the next few weeks. In the meantime let's get on with the first induction of the year..."

A video montage of match highlights showing Gator, the Walking Disaster, winning gold and standing tall over opponents like Doc D'Ville, "Loverboy" Vinnie Lane, Steve Davids, Mastermind, etc.

After the montage of Gator’s accomplishments wraps up, the camera moves to the podium up on stage where longtime XWF videographer and producer, “Hot” Todd Moschitti stands with a smile.

Todd opens his mouth to speak but his voice catches in his throat. He holds a hand to his mouth and clears his throat before trying again.

Hot Todd: “Gator… my best friend…”

He breaks down once more, his entire body heaving with sobs. He bawls for thirty whole seconds as the audience watches in awkward silence, and then he regains his composure with a big snot bubble still swelling out from one nostril.

Hot Todd: “I just love him so much, man… he’s always been there for me and… and… AUUUUGHHH!!”

Todd collapses with his chest landing on top of the dais. He wails and pounds the top of the podium until “Loverboy” Vinnie Lane walks out onto the stage and puts an arm around him, patting him on a shoulder until he lifts his adorable head.

Hot Todd: “Aw… Vinnie… I ruined the introduction didn’t I…”

Vinnie just purses his lips to one side like McKayla Maroney and shakes his head in reassurance.

Vinnie Lane: “Dude, it’s okay. I get it! You just really love your buddy! And you know what? I know it’s mutual.”

Todd’s lower lip trembles and he falls against Vinnie’s chest, hugging and sobbing once more. When he finally pulls away, there’s a big wet spot on the shoulder of Vin’s hot pink suit blazer.

Todd pulls out a hankie and blows his nose into it loudly before leaning back to the mic.

Hot Todd: “Ladies and gentlemen, to induct my… my BEST friend, Gator…”

He starts to shiver, but regains control quickly.

Hot Todd: “LOVERBOY VINNIE LANE!!!”

The crowd cheers and the house band plays a few bars of Twisted Sister’s “I Wanna Rock,” but Vin’s already there so he just waves it off and shakes Todd’s hand, sending him off into the back.

Vinnie lets the crowd cheer a little bit before signaling for them to quiet down.

Vinnie Lane: “Oh wow… wow, everyone, thank you. Thank you so much. But you know what, cats and kittens? Tonight isn’t about me. I’ve had my moments. I got to stand here and be honored this way already, and it was one of the greatest moments of my life… and you know, because it was such an important memorable moment in my life, I knew who it had to be that did my induction speech. There really was no deliberation, man, when High Stakes rolled around and the Legends Committee told me I couldn’t put it off anymore, I had to go in, then I knew there was only dude I could call. My best bud in this business, going back to my first days in the XWF. You know, when I first signed the dotted line and joined the land of X-Treme, it was a totally different landscape, dude. It was brutal! Some real monsters were here at the time, man. Like Sebastian Duke, who I beat and never lost to. Just a reminder. He’s competing here tonight, which is awesome, and so is another old school 2014 talent, Mark Flynn. I respected the heck out of those dudes and they were so on top of their game, man… I wanted to reach those heights. And right away, there was this cat in red pajamas…”

The crowd murmurs some laughter. A close up shows Sebastian Duke angrily cussing to someone sitting next to him.

Vinnie Lane: “He had only joined up like two weeks before me or something, you know? He was new, green as grass, straight from Japan. He had his own career to worry about but he took the time to reach out and connect. We were fast friends, man, one of my first in this company. Along with cool awesome dudes like LH Harrison…”

The crowd applauds as cameras find LH sitting in the crowd, WAY huskier than his professional wrestling days. He holds up a Hysteria mask and everyone laughs.

Vinnie Lane: “Socrates…”

More applause as Socrates is shown on the tron, a smiling photo of him with RIP underneath.

Vinnie Lane: “Miss you, dude… and of course, one of the first people I won gold with, “Clean” Lucena.

The crowd claps politely as Lucena is shown standing outside the building arguing with security over vaccination protocols.

Vinnie Lane: “That’s unfortunate. But, anyway, these were my first family in the XWF, and none of them were cooler to me than my boy Gator. We ran up and down the roads together, driving from town to town before either of us made it big and we still had to penny pinch. We had so many great times back then, and throughout our careers. I was so happy when he finally won the XWF Universal Championship, even though it was for, like, five minutes. It was still such an awesome moment. And when it was my turn to have that same moment? You guessed it… Gator was right there, along with Doc, when I finally grabbed that brass ring and stepped up to join the most elite of the elite, winning the Universal Title myself at Relentless 2015. That moment, along with my induction to the Hall of Legends in 2020, are the two most important moments of my professional career in the ring, man. And neither of them could have happened without my running buddy, the Walking Disaster. Now, I said I wasn’t gonna embarrass him too much, but I did bring some photos of us hanging out over the years… guys, can we show the pics?”

Vinnie looks over his shoulder as the X-Tron lights up and shows the first image.

Vinnie Lane: “Oh dude, what a fun night… this was literally the night before Relentless 2015. Now, not gonna lie, I thought I could maybe tire Gator out by taking him out to the strip club and getting a few ladies of looser morals to take him for a spin… but that guy has a motor that just won’t stop!”

The next image comes up.

Vinnie Lane: “Oh! I almost forgot this day! We went to Gathering of the Juggalos 2016 and I bet him 100 bucks he could nail a Juggalette. I was so pissed!”

The photo fades and shifts to the next.

Vinnie Lane: “Haha! Gator dared me to streak across the road during the 2018 Tour De France… he really thought I wouldn’t do it, but holy crap did he learn better that day! We both kinda got trespassed out of France for a while but at least we got to meet Lance Armstrong!”

Another photo appears, eliciting huge laughs from the audience.

Vinnie Lane: “YIKES! I really didn’t mean for this one to make it in the slideshow, but… oh well! This was right after me and Gates ran a train on a ring rat about a month after I joined XWF. BEFORE me and Roxy started dating, just FYI. So cool!”

Vinnie turns back toward the lectern as the Tron fades out, and he smiles warmly as a shot of Roxy Cotton frowning angrily in the crowd is shown.

Vinnie Lane: “Wow… me and Gator really have a special friendship. And I know that it’s just gonna get better as time goes on, too. Kinda like that rad gauntlet match he once had against Knight! Oh! Hey! Speaking of that… live, via satellite… it’s the Aerial Knight, Johnathan Heartsford!”

Vinnie starts clapping as Heartsford’s face appears on the Tron behind him.

[Image: ?m=02&d=20190530&t=2&i=1392363767&w=&fh=...XNPEF4S1ZN]

"Hey Gator! Congratulations on your Hall of Legends induction. Sorry I can't be there to properly celebrate with you, but there was a family emergency at home that needed attending to."

"Remember how we tore the building down over our feud for the TV title? Probably not, but I do. We used to go to town on each other for that fucking thing and you'd always find some way to win."

"Not that I'm complaining... too much. We had a hell of a time in our matches and, even though you won all of them, I had a blast trying to take that belt from you, be it in multi man fights or singles competition."

"Listen, I'd love to inflate your ego some more, but I have to go and sort this shit out, okay? Congrats again for getting inducted into the Hall of Legends. Hopefully we'll meet again soon so we could go out for drinks or something to celebrate."

"See ya later, Gator."

The Tron fades again and Vinnie once more addresses the crowd.

Vinnie Lane: “I think you guys get the picture. There’s only one Gator. And… we’re all extra lucky to know the dude, dude. So… welcome to the Hall of Legends… the Walking Disaster… the guy who Never Pinned Flynn… GATOR!!!”

Gardenia by Kyuss sounds throughout the arena and the camera fixes upon the X-Tron which fades from the view of the crowd to black. The screen fades into a living room, Gator sits on the couch in his mask and boxers, picking at his toes. He looks up hearing the crowd cheer and jolts his leg, knocking over cans of beer and a bowl of popcorn; he flinches looking at the mess as a large bulldog rushes over to eat at the mess. Gator shouts.

“Mastermind! No! Not for you!”

Gator pushes the dog away and grabs him, lifting him up with a groan as the dog snorts, resting onto the couch as Gator kicks the popcorn under the coffee table before clearing his throat and a grin forms under the red and black mask.

“S’appening.”

“As you can easily tell I’m not there with all you live and in living colour; ya boy’s isolating which is shocking since I always wear a mask. I’m fairly certain I got vaccinated but there’s always a chance I just relapsed. For legal reasons that’s a joke, don’t do drugs. Sadly, if this was meant to happen the way it was meant to I’d there with you all at Relentless but unfortunately that got pushed back and now it’s fitting my induction takes place at Fire & Ice since Lane thinks England is a fantasy land.”

The camera cuts to Lane who nods in agreement. Gator reaches over and grabs a cigarette, rolling up his mask to expose his mouth. He searches for a lighter, lifting up the now sleeping bulldog and retrieving a zippo. He lights the cig and inhales a lungful of smoke.

“I joined the XWF in 2014 and made waves with fortune cookie sized promos and all the elegance of a beluga’s corpse falling onto the rocks from a whaling ship. Short and simple, I sucked BUT I learned, and I got better. I made friends, Socrates was a guy who looking back was most likely a Themis uncle with how big that family is, someone who showed me it’s actually okay to be a wrestler and have fun being a wrestler. At the end of the day, we are entertainers, most of us dress like clowns and in several different ways we all act like clowns so why not play the part? He was a good dude and it was fitting that in my pay-per-view debut he was one of my opponents, along with the TV Champion Steve Davids.”

“Relentless will always hold a special place in my heart, me and Socrates made a bet to team up on the champ and when we got him down, we played rock, paper, scissors to see who got to pin him.”

“Yeah, XWF hasn’t changed too much I guess.”

“After that I held onto the Television tighter than a poor dad on Black Friday. My first defense was against the up-and-comer, that young upstart Doctor Louis D’Ville who I beat and he held a grudge ever since.”

The camera shows D’Ville sitting down with a devilish grin, a shimmer in his good eye.

“And that match blossomed into a beautiful rivalry. I was a part of Team Mastermind at War Games along with my best mate Vinnie Lane and even though all we did was cause massive property damage to Mastermind’s Mastermansion, he seemed to like us both enough to invite us to his wedding and eventually name us both Godparents to his boys. Which is why I named my new dog after him, only felt right. I was Ozymandias’ boy all while I was TV Champ who groomed me, in a good way, to get better and better until I got hurt and had to vacant the title. Which I wanted my truest rival of all time, Jonathan Heartsford, or something, aka Aerial Knight to win. I’m half-certain if I ever return we’re contractually obligated to fight and since he never beat me I wanna see if I can keep my 500 win record against him growing.”

“Shortly after my little hiatus, I came back and what did I do?”

“I immediately took back my TV title and decided to go after a little group of assholes named Asylum, led by Hysteria. I joined up with old pal, Justin Sane who was by far one of the greatest wrestlers to ever grace this fed despite him having a shorter attention span as a teenager discovering porn for the first time and a weird mute goth who had a pet crow named CorVus… Not sure where he came from but dude was sweet as fuck and I owe basically every highlight of my career to him, even if it was just for some banger jokes.”

“We were Defiance and we basically kicked the shit out of everyone in Asylum until things fell apart.”

“Defiance started to crumble and the Television title was stripped from me for good. No one could take it from me so they had to retire it… Some people are calling themselves the best TV champ for long reigns, but cunts lemme tell you the truth, you’re not getting my level of treatment.”

“And what did I do when the TV was taken from me?”

“I won the fucking Universal.”

“For like a minute.”

“Before D’Ville revealed himself as the true leader of Asylum and gave me a lifetime of therapy sessions to get over when he cashed in. Honestly, Sane was angrier than I was when that happened, shit was hilarious.”

“After that, things just faded. CorVus and Sane picked up the Tag Titles which we freebirded but they got lost to… Scully and Maverick…”
Gator shudders “Gotta keeps tabs on Scully dude, you lack and he steals your sunshine. I would shit talk Mav but he won’t show up so who cares. Then as all good things, everything came to an end. I could talk about my appearances here and there but those are footnotes and not important in the grand scheme of things. No disrespect to the people I faced but that wasn’t the Gator that’s being inducted right now.”

Gator finishes up his cigarette and stubs it out in the ashtray.

“All I want to really say is thank you, to everyone. XWF is and always will be my home, I have seen the most talented people walk these halls. Despite the drama and the bullshit there are so many amazing people here, past, present and future. Even through all the low points, from where it was looking like the fed was about to close down, the people who work here have gone above and beyond to turn that downfall into an upswing. Thank you to Vinnie Lane for always being there for me, Mastermind for making me realise who I wanted to be as a wrestler, LH Harrison for his inspiration, Aerial Knight for the wins, Theo Pryce for the constant ideas and royalty cheques and D’Ville for being the biggest cunt I’ve ever met and making me want to better myself.”

Gator takes off his mask and sets it besides himself.

“Until recently I didn’t think anything could top 2014 XWF, the amount of talent we had was overwhelmingly good but 2019 forward has really proved me wrong and I expect all you watching to keep that shit going forward. I love this hellish shithole, and I’m hoping all you make it the best shithole we’ve ever seen.”

Gator picks up a bottle and tips it to the camera.

“Cheers”

The crowd picks back up into cheers as the X-Tron fades to black.

Omega poses for the crowd amidst a flickering strobe effect from thousands of camera phone flashbulbs, then backflips off the turnbuckle and casually leans back into the corner to await the entrance of his opponent.

HHL: Jay Omega won the Supercontinental Super Scramble earlier in the show and as such gets to take on Corey Smith for the Supercontinental Title! How do you like his odds Pip?

Pip: About as much as I do of you ever finding a man that will stand you for more than 10 consecutive minutes.

The arena is pitch black and the melancholy opening tunes to “Identity” begin. But as the song starts to pick up in intensity, down in the entry way, you see a Jericho-esque light up jacket glow brilliantly. Then, twin explosions emit from either side of the ramp and the lights turn on in a swirling red and blue pattern that throb in sync with the beats of the song. Corey comes down the ramp, the jacket now flashing intermittent heart and lightning bolt patterns. On the 'Tron you see images of Corey/Lux pulling off fantastic moves, intercut with blur effects on Corey's face that obscure his features in an eerie way.

Corey gets on the ring apron, throwing his arms over the top rope as the jacket keeps flashing. He looks pumped as hell, and starts pointing out at the fans before rushing to the top rope, surveying the crowd from on high, before dropping down to the canvas and handing off his jacket. He paces the ring now, waiting for the match to begin as the music and lighting effects wind down.

Backstage, we see Charlie Nickles standing in a locker room. Suddenly, Bobby Bourbon and Thunder Knuckles burst in, laughing about some such as they do. Charlie looks at them forlornly.

No potatoes for me?

Bobby and TK stop and look back at Charlie, who glares back with puppydog eyes. Bobby scrapes some potatoes off of TK's shoulder with two fingers and sticks them out. Charlie leans forward, opens his mouth, extends his tongue, and slurps Bobby’s fingers clean. Charlie leans back and visibly gulps.

Satisfying.

I feel the need to pray. Wash my hand first maybe.

That was fucking disgusting.

I wanted a part of the fun fun mashed potato fracas too!

I didn't exactly plan it.

Bobby, where have you been?

In the cannon.

For a month and a fucking half?

Yeah. I loaded myself in it for Christmas then had it wrapped in a big present to be sent to the arena. Well, the Postal Service did a little oops-goof and sent it to Sri Lanka. Since they don't celebrate Christmas there, they didn't open it. It took a couple of weeks to return to sender. Fortunately I brought a couple sandwiches with me and five gallons of Gatorade for the trip.

How the fuck did you...

Know to be at Fire and Ice? I didn't, actually, those Popeyes employees really just wanted to monkey around with the Xtreme Title scene.

~~~~~~
We see Dr. Louis D'Ville in a post office somewhere in Sri Lanka. His eyes are shut tight in disdain as he facepalms, shaking his head. He adjusts the tag on the massive parcel to be sent to Reykjavik then pulls out a cell phone. He presses the face a few times then holds it to his head.
Hello, my friend at Popeye's!
He looks at the camera and winks, then seems to vanish.
~~~~~~~

Back in the locker room, TK has his hands on his hips, looking at Bobby with a degree of suspicion.

Not that. How did you go to the bathroom.

The cannon has a hole in it, TK. That is what makes it a cannon.

Bobby sniffs the air, looking dissatisfied.

Criminy, it smells like Lycana in here, what the heck?

Oh. I haven't bathed since last year. Dry January, no showers!

Dude, you need a fucking shower more than we do. I'm glad you weren't in the mashed potatoes, I would have got fucking food poisoned!

Bobby cocks an eyebrow.

That isn't what Dry January means.

Charlie runs his fingers across Bobby’s chest and enjoys another morsel. He gulps it down.

So, since you're back and all, does that mean…

It means I couldn't stay away. See, I could talk about making a point, or taking a stand, but in the end…

Bobby looks at the camera.

I needed the people more than they needed me. These are my comrades, my brothers in arms, the people who try to understand me when others won't. These are the people who are worth a golly gosh darn to me, when we get down to it, who I just want to be around and entertain!

Bobby smiles. Charlie clears his throat.

Uh, no, does that mean whoever wins between War Criminal and Flynn and the Main Brothers needs to be on notice is what I meant.

Oh.

Yeah, what was that sappy shit about?

Well boys…

Corny music begins to play. As it does, Charlie scoops some potato off of TK and eats it.

Stop that shit, it's fucking gross.

Charlie makes puppy eyes at Bobby. Bobby shrugs.

Waste not, want not I guess.

Charlie reaches below the view of the camera as Bobby’s eyes widen. Charlie devours more mashed potato.

If I had a tramp stamp it'd be clear now.

Had to check if you had one.

Well, regardless, boys, when it comes to the Tag Team Championships, what happened to this division? We're really stuck falling back into this nonsense, where two men who didn't even win the titles together are defending them? Well, if that's the case, then it's high time we turned the Freebird Rules into the Bastard Rules! Are we the top contenders? Heck no! And it ain't over now!

Huh?

Leave it, he’s on a roll.

That’s right! XWF Universe, we aren't here to declare we deserve a Tag Championship opportunity, we’re just here to remind you all that the greatest tag team in XWF history is on the scene, stronger than ever!

Because you hit the gym?

No, because you're here now.

Oh. Neat!

As such, Universe, we have an opportunity for all of you!

Who's first to get fucked up by Them No Good Bastards? Come one, come fucking all you pricks!

That’s absolutely right! The ladder is there, the rungs are set, and hot diggety dog if it ain't time we started climbing back up and crushing fools on our way! We aren't some entitled ninnies expecting a hand-out!

It doesn't matter if you're a greedy bastard.

It doesn't matter if you're a filthy bastard!

It doesn't matter if you're a silly bastard.

TK and Charlie pause and glance at Bobby.

Nobody says you're silly.

Hey, you cussed!

I know! Fuck being G-Rated!

Charlie scoops more potatoes off of Bobby’s shoulder.

Nobody says I’m silly to my face, I'm a vicious bastard.

As Bobby says this, Barney Green enters the locker room along with Mr. BOB, carrying an orange 5-gallon cooler with them.

Them No Good Bastards will whoop your ass.

Barney and Mr. BOB dump the cooler over Charlie's head, spilling brown gravy all over him.

Barney! Let's hug!

Barney steps back, avoiding getting caked with cold stale instant mashed potatoes.

I'm good, later bro.

Charlie grins with delight!

I'm still not bathing, I can be like this for two more whole days!

I'm glad we got gravy involved!

The challengers, North Korean War Criminal and Mark Flynn come down to the ring to a chorus of loud boos from the crowd rains down upon them.

The moment the first strums of Billy Valentine's "All Along the Watchtower" hit the arena, Apex's extreme fan base erupts. The ovation hits a fever pitch as Robert Main followed by Oliver Main step out from the egress and into the spotlight as gold strobes flash along the entryway. First playing to the crowd for a few moments, the Brother's Main then start walking down the entrance ramp, smacking outstretched hands. Once the Brothers get to the ring they both ascending a set of ring steps and climb through the ropes, never taking their eyes off of their opponents. Oliver and Robert each hand one half of the tag team titles to the ref and wait for the ring bell to sound.

Standard Tag Team Match
Savage Rules

HHL: Ladies and Gentlemen, you’ve watched a hell of a show already! You’ve watched a number of the greatest athletes in the world meeting in friendly wrestling competition!

HHL: I don’t think you should expect THAT with this next match.

PIP: Not a chance Heather. This match isn’t going to GET ugly. It’s going to STARTugly and get WORSE.

HHL: There’s a lot of talent on both sides of the ring in this match. But… Well, you’ll see, folks.

THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL! AND IT IS FOR THE XWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS!

Bursting through the curtain, blank expression on his face… Mark Flynn in blue tights and a bomber jacket. At his side, wearing his military fatigues, The North Korean War Criminal… Trailing just barely behind the tandem is ‘Chronic’ Chris Page.

COMING TO THE RING FIRST, THE CHALLENGERS! ACCOMPANIED BY ‘CHRONIC’ CHRIS PAGE! AT A COMBINED WEIGHT OF 375 POUNDS! MARK FLYNN AND THE NORTH KOREAN WAR CRIMINAL

Flynn stops at the top of ramp and turns his back on the crowd so the camera catches the back of his bomber jacket… ‘KING OF THE MIDCARDERS’. Under the corner, it still bears the CCP Enterprises logo.

NK rests a hand to emphasize ‘KING’. Page points a finger at the logo.

HHL: Mark Flynn and the North Korean War Criminal… One of the most controversial teams in the XWF.

PIP: Careful with your words, Heather! We don’t you getting labelled as fake news again in Flynn’s newsletters!

HHL: Look! Let me say this! Flynn and NK came out of nowhere six months ago and took the tag division by storm! They earned a tag title shot and shocked the world dethroning Them No Good Bastards, 2021’s Tag Team of the Year! Then, they turned around and took APEX’s, arguably the most decorated XWF Tag Team of All-Time, and matched them beat-for-beat, taking them to their limit!

PIP: Then! Go ahead, Heather! SAY that NK and Flynn got screwed by bad officiating! ADMIT THAT!

HHL: *sigh* According to Flynn and NK, there’s a conspiracy following them around the XWF. An UNPROVEN conspiracy that ALLEGEDLY ended their tag title reign and handed their belts over to APEX.

PIP: PROVEN TO ANYONE WITH TWO BRAIN CELLS. STOP OBFUSCATING THE TRUTH, HEATHER! LOOK AT THE EVIDENCE!

HHL: What evidence, Pip?

PIP: …Well, you’re putting me on the spot here… But, it’s all in the newsletters, folks!

HHL: Pip, have you actually been READING Flynn’s newsletters?

PIP: Of course!

…Usually as an audiobook though. They’re narrated by Alan Alda.

Flynn and NK march down the ramp, rolling under bottom rope, taking the far corner of the ring. Page circles around and takes his spot standing on the challenger side of the ring.

AND THEIR OPPONENTS…

Shaman’s Harvest begins blaring throughout the arena. Robert Main walks through the curtains after the instrumental “I make them for you”! He’s flanked on his shoulder by his brother, Oliver, who’s out the curtain a step after him. They both have a title belt, one resting on each of their right shoulders… Robert then looks to the crowd to his left and then right, rolling his shoulders. He and Ollie look at each other nodding, ready to go, before slowly walking down the ramp.

AT A COMBINED WEIGHT OF 428 POUNDS! THE XWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIOMS! OLIVER MAIN AND ROBERT ‘THE OMEGA’ MAIN! AAAAAAAAAPEEEEEEEX!!!!!!!

The Brothers Main stop at the ring, steps looking to the crowd once more before both slam their hands on the ring steps entering the ring.

The second the Mains roll in, Flynn and NK skitter under the bottom ropes. The challengers gather beside their manager Page, who huddles them into a brief pep talk, while Robert and Oliver stand on the turnbuckles and pose for the crowd.

HHL: APEX! The Longest-reigning tag-team in XWF’s history.

PIP: Aha! #FakeNews! Griffin MacAlister is th-

HHL: I said TEAM!

PIP: …Withdrawn.

HHL: APEX! When Jim Caedus and Robert Main joined forces at Bad Medicine and won the XWF Tag Team belts!

PIP: ILLEGITIMATELY!

HHL: They became the SECOND ever Two-Time XWF Tag Team Champions! Only ONE other team has ever won the belts after losing them! And if you combine their reigns, APEX has been XWF Tag Team Champions for a combined 301 days across both their reigns! The longest total reign of any team in the Modern Era

PIP: And they’ve defended the belts FOUR WHOLE TIMES successfully in that timeframe! #FAVORITISM

HHL: Pip, shut up. APEX has a legitimate claim to being the Greatest Tag-Team in this company’s entire history.

PIP: They do, Heather. They have a CLAIM. And Flynn and NK are here to FACT-CHECK that claim!

The Mains’ music fades out and Flynn and NK climb up the stairs and pause on the apron, while the official takes the belts and directs the champions back to their corner…

The Official holds the belts over his head, then hands them off to the announcer…

Robert Main directs Oliver out to the apron, but the Younger Main looks determined to start the match. Robert takes pause, but nods and steps outside.

HHL: Gutsy choice by the Brothers Main! Oliver Main is looking to silence critics saying he’s green to be defending belts in the XWF by starting this match off…

PIP: Gutsy AND FOOLISH, Heather! It took Jim Caedus AND Robert Main to battle Flynn and Nk last time, and they still couldn’t do it without a bribed official! Ollie Main is a BIG step-down in talent, watch for Flynn and NK to take an early advantage on the much-less experienced Main brother.

Flynn sheds his bomber jacket and tosses it to Page, stepping through the ropes… NK remains on the apron…

The official draws both competitors to the center of the ring… He delivers a few reminders that both competitors obey his commands at all-time and requests a good, clean fight. Ollie nods. Flynn scoffs.

The official signals for the bell.

DING DING!

Oliver immediately goes for a collar-and-elbow tie up with Flynn… But Flynn sidesteps it, catching The Younger Main with a knee to the ribs… Then, Flynn pie-faces Ollie back towards his corner!

OLIVER hits the turnbuckle, shaking his head surprised by the disrespectful attack! He quickly recovers and is FURIOUS! Flynn laughs and back-steps towards his corner…

Oliver goes to pursue… But Robert catches his back with a slap! The official calls for a tag!

PIP: What do you make of this, Heather?

HHL: Think back to the last time these two sides met, Pip. Flynn and NK came in with the strategy to infuriate APEX into making errors. And the Main Brothers famously both have tempers… It’s likely Flynn’s opening gambit was to goad Ollie into entering deep into Flynn and NK’s corner, then starting up their trademark isolation game.

PIP: Haha, stupid Mains.

HHL: BUT, The Omega has seen them play this trick before and prevented his Younger Brother from falling prey.

PIP: …Dammit.

Robert Main comes out of the corner. Oliver is still fuming but steps outside. Flynn still laughs, beckoning Robert forward…

The two meet in the center and start circle-stepping, jockeying for control.

HHL: This is a dream-meeting for wrestling fans! Two of the greatest grapplers in the history of this sport: Robert Main and Mark Flynn!

Main, slowly and deftly, closes the gap between himself and Flynn, and before Flynn can escape, latches Flynn into a side headlock. Flynn tries to slip out the back, but Main holds his neck tight!

Flynn leans down to trip Main by the ankle, but Main widens his stance, pressing his knee into Flynn’s path and launches Flynn over into a side headlock takedown!

HHL: Beautiful move by Robert Main!

Main flawlessly rolls into deeper control, from a side headlock to a sleeper hold, with Flynn sitting…

HHL: Main is out here running a wrestling clinic on Mark Flynn!

As he leans forward over Flynn’s neck, looking to tighten the hold… Flynn MUSCLES his ass off the ground, then leaps, locking his arms around Main’s head! SITOUT JAWBREAKER!

PIP: SOLID COUNTER BY MARK FLYNN! TAKE THAT, HEATHER!

HHL: What the Hell?!? I agree, good move!

Main flops backwards, clutching his jaw woozy, as Flynn regains his footing, oxygen returning to his lungs…

They both quickly regain their footing…

Both men go for a collar-and-elbow tie-up! And once again, Main secures Flynn into a side headlock!

HHL: OMEGA has come to this match ready to shut down Mark Flynn!

The camera zooms in on Flynn’s face, getting visibly frustrated at being out-done here…

Flynn tries to grab Main’s arm to counter into a hammerlock… And does so! Flynn’s got a hold of Main’s arm and twists it behind his back, escaping the hold!

Flynn laughs, finally, for the first time, having some semblance of power over Robert Main… He goes to tighten the hammerlock further, lifting Main’s arm high against his back…

As he does though, Main’s free arm wraps around Flynn’s neck and launches him forward! SNAPMARE! Flynn lands on his ass! As he tries to scramble back to his feet… Main’s already ontop of him with YET ANOTHER SIDE HEADLOCK!

The crowd claps, laughing. Main is smiling, nodding to the crowd. The camera again zooms in on Flynn’s face, looking fucking furious.

HHL: If Flynn’s gameplan was to infuriate APEX, it looks like the tables have been turned!

PIP: Oh yeah? Well, maybe the tables only look turned when actually the turned tables will… SHUT UP!

Suddenly, Flynn wrenches down… AND LIIIIIIIIIIFTS! All 230 pounds of Robert Main come off the ground! BACK SUPLEX!

PIP: HAHA! SEE! THAT’S MARK FLYNN FOR YA!

Flynn comes up howling, amped as Hell! Page is outside the ring clapping as NK pumps his fist enthusiastically for his partner. Main’s back hits the ground… and he somersaults backwards onto his feet.

Flynn turns around… INTO A HUGE CLOTHESLINE! Flynn hits the mat hard… But Main loses his footing as well.

PIP: GODDAMN, MAIN WAS UNAFFECTED BY THAT BACK SUPLEX?!?

HHL: No, Pip! I think that one hurt Main. He just powered through to prevent Flynn from taking control. And he chose the right time to push himself…We’ve seen Flynn and NK dominate matches after taking even the smallest advantage!

Main stretches his shoulder as he comes off the mat, clearly still hurting from Flynn’s back suplex. Flynn is seeing stars.

Main hooks the leg. The official drops to count…

Flynn lifts a shoulder off the mat!

Main scoops Flynn up by the scruff of his neck, and secures him into a front facelock, dragging him back towards APEX’s corner…

The Elder Main lifts Flynn’s arm to the air, exposing his ribs, then tags Oliver! Oliver steps through the ropes and delivers a kick straight to Flynn’s ribcage! Flynn sucks air as he drops to his knees.

HHL: The Brothers Main are disproving Flynn and NK’s claims that Oliver was a step down from Jim! If anything, the Mains have IMPROVED on their Bad Medicine performance, secureing an early and comfortable control in this matc!!

Oliver locks Flynn into a side headlock of his own as Robert steps out to the apron…

Oliver jockeys Flynn, shifting his footing here and there to keep Flynn locked in…

HHL: Oliver is keeping a grip on Flynn like a cowboy on a stubborn bull… Ollie’s keeping his grip, but he might be getting moved out of position!

Indeed, just as Heather notes, Flynn’s efforts to wiggle free, slowly and deftly move Ollie from out of his corner, back toward the center… Flynn jerks hard-right, so he and Ollie are facing the APEX corner…

Then, behind his back, he sticks up one finger…

NK switches from the righthand side of the apron, to the left…

Flynn then, fights and squirms… Spinning he and Ollie 180 degrees back towards the Challenger’s Corner.

”CORNER KICK!”

NK nods… Ollie looks to the corner, prepared for an attack from the North Korean!

Suddenly… Flynn liiiiiiiiiiiifts Ollie for another back suplex!

But the younger Maindeadweights, drawing himself back toward the ground… As his feet return to the mat though, Flynn gets his hand around Ollie’s back and shoves Ollie forward…

Ollie tries to put the brakes on… But hits the challenger’s turnbuckle… JUST AS NK GRABS THE TOP ROPE AND PROPELS OFF THE APRON, DELIVERING A KICK TO THE BACK OF OLLIE’S HEAD

Ollie hits the mat in the corner hard!

Flynn immediately leaps into action, stomping Oliver, holding the ropes to steady himself as he rapidly kicks the younger Main in the stomach! The official starts a five-count, just as Robert comes out of the corner to backup his brother!

The moment he does, though, Flynn pulls the official between himself and Robert! The official, seeing Omega out of his corner, goes to direct him back! While the official tries to order the elder Main back to his corner , NK steps through the ropes and joins stomping the Hell out of young Oliver!

Omega is furious and grabs the official by the shirt, tossing him out of the way!

The official hits the APEX corner, just as Main grabs Flynn by the arms and delivers a BRUTAL BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX! HURLING HIM UP-AND-OVER! Main comes up off the mat and does the same thing to NK! ANOTHER DEVASTATING BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX!

Flynn rolls under the ropes to the outside… NK tries to do the same, crawling under the ropes… But OMEGA grabs him by the ankle and drags him back in!

NK is desperately alternating between digging his nails into the mat and pleading for mercy… As Omega drags him back to the center of the ring!

Omega scoop-deadlifts NK off the ground and heaves him to his feet, just as Oliver Main recovers woozily in the challenger’s corner…

Omega grabs NK by his hair and points up! Oliver nods!

Omega heaves NK up into the air in a back-suplex! Oliver runs across the ring! AND LEAPING BACKSUPLEX-NECKBREAKER! BIG TEAM MANEUEVER FROM THE MAINS!

All three men hit the mat! And NK looks absolutely devastated!

Ollie rolls into the cover with Main, circling defensively to block anyone breaking the pin attempt!

Flynn is outside the ring, finally recovered from that belly-to-belly…

The official drops to count!

THRE…

FLYNN GRABS THE OFFICIAL BY THE ANKLE AND DRAGS HIM OUTSIDE!

PIP: INJUSTICE! SHENANIGANS!

HHL: What are you blathering about, Pip?

PIP: NK WAS NOT THE LEGAL MAN! ONCE AGAIN, THE OFFICIAL WAS ABOUT TO COUNT THE PIN ON THE WRONG MAN!

HHL: …

PIP: TRY AND TELL ME I’M WRONG, HEATHER!

HHL: …After careful review, the official did indeed count a pin on NK while he was not tagged in.

PIP: SHENANIGANS!

As the official is yanked outside to the mat, Flynn is immediately in his face screaming. Page walks over to join him, yelling at the official.

”ARE YOU FUCKING BLIND? I’M THE LEGAL MAN, NOT HIM.

”HOW CAN YOU PEOPLE BE THIS STUPID?”

”ARE YOU THAT FUCKING CORRUPT YOU’LL PLAY THE SAME TRICK TWICE!?1”

As Flynn and Page scream at the official, who just got thrown by Robert Main and might’ve lost track of who’s-who… Oliver and Robert roll outside the ring…

Oliver runs around the corner, grabs Flynn by the arm and delivers a big kick to the stomach…

Robert comes around the corner… And runs face-to-face with Chris Page.

And the crowd gets on its feet, screaming.

HHL: Oh my…

PIP: This could get bumpy!

HHL: I don’t think these two have been face-to-face since Main ENDED Page’s XWF career at Relentless…

The two start face-to-face, nose-to-nose, eye-to-eye…

Oliver backs Flynn up to the stairs and scoops Flynn under the arm, looking to body slam him onto the padded concrete…

Oliver liiiiiifts…

But Flynn lands on his feet!

Page and Main start jaw-jacking, getting a little heated…

Flynn grabs Oliver by the scruff of his neck and flips him!

“PAGE! REGGIE!”

Page immediately disengages with Main and side-steps… Just as Flynn monkey flips Oliver up and into Main… Main’s back of the head collides with the steel pole!

HHL: …Did Flynn just run a play with ‘Chronic’ Chris Page?

PIP: …Did Flynn just call ‘Reggie’ as in reggie weed, so Page would know to back away?

Regardless of what just happened, the Mains are outside the ring, the younger disoriented and the elder in a lot of pain.

Flynn scoops Oliver, still the legal-man, by his neck and tosses him under the bottom-rope. Page steps over the fallen Robert to get back to Flynn and NK’s corner, where NK has crawled under the bottom rope of his team’s corner and lies on the apron recovering.

HHL: Well, I can’t imagine everything went according to plan there, but Flynn and NK have taken control in this match!

PIP: Hey, maybe it was ALL part of the plan, Heather! Most important part: however it played out, it’s working!

Flynn rolls back under the ropes, following Oliver, who has rolled to the center of the ring.

Flynn circles the fallen younger Main, stomping him in the arms, the legs, the face, the ankles!

HH: We’ve seen Flynn do this before! It's a simple offense, but it’s devastating AND energy-sapping!

PIP: This is NOT where Oliver Main wants to be! Any and Every one of these strikes could inflict serious injury and compromise Ollie’s maneuverability for the rest of the match!

Flynn scoops Ollie off the mat and tosses him back into the challenger’s corner… He launches a high kick into Ollie’s head and Ollie’s collapses, resting against the bottom turnbuckle… NK finally starts shaking off cobwebs and climbing back to his feet, just as Flynn mutters “McFlurry.”

Flynn then gets in the official’s face, spinning and yelling and screaming about how he won’t get FUCKED by some hack who doesn’t even know the RULES of WRESTLING.

Flynn carefully circles the official while yelling until the ref’s back is to the challenger’s corner, while NK steps through the ropes and starts stomping a mudhole into Oliver while he lays in the corner…

HHL: If NK isn’t the legal man, why’s he in the ring, Pip?

PIP: If some higher corporate puppet master feels like interfering in Flynn and NK’s affairs, they have every moral obligation to bend the rules, in an effort to rebalance the scales of fairness! Directly quoted from Flynn Newsletter #27!

After a system of stomps, the official glances backwards and catches NK stomping the younger Main! The official breaks away from Flynn to admonish NK!

NK immediately lifts his hands defensively as the official starts a five-count for him to vacate the ring… He slowly climbs through the ropes, pointing at his boot… and tugging at the laces…

HHL: Apparently NK is insisting that the official misinterpreted the scenario and that Oliver Main was just helping tie NK’s unlaced shoes… With his stomach.

PIP: Oh what now, Heather? Is NK supposed to wrestling this match with his shoes untied?!? How about APEX doesn’t have to use the tag rope? What further handicaps do you DEMAND be put on Flynn & NK!

HHL: God dammit! I just want them to follow the rules!

PIP: YOU FIRST!

As the official and NK continue to argue with NK standing on the apron, Flynn comes up and sticks his boot against Ollie’s throat, hanging on the rope for leverage! Oliver’s hands swing wildly for oxygen as Flynn holds for seven… eight… nine…

Finally, the official breaks away from NK long enough to see Flynn’s illegal choke! He sprints over to Flynn and starts a five-count!

After reaching the count of four, totalling 15 seconds of choking, Flynn releases the hold and starts shouting again in the official’s face. NK starts stepping through the ropes to resume his assault on Oliver… But this time, the official is wise to it and stops NK! He starts admonishing both Flynn and NK!

HHL: Finally! The official catches these two in the act!

As the official shames the two for their antics, NK steps back through the ropes and Flynn tags him in.

NK hops over the ropes and LEG DROPS right across Ollie Main’s throat!

HHL: Impressive move by the War Criminal. We’ve seen rapid improvement from this previously untalented wrestler under the tutelage of Mark Flynn.

NK slides into a cover!

Oliver FORCES a shoulder up with authority!

HHL: Incredible toughness on display here by Oliver Main!

NK stands up and delivers a stomp to the younger Main’s spine! He lifts his foot to follow it with another stomp…. But in a flash, Oliver grabs NK’s ankle and trips him to the mat!

HHL: And a solid counter!

NK fishes himself up to his feet quickly… But not before Oliver is back up! Oliver stomps NK in the quad, sending NK to one knee! Oliver then hits the ropes and bounces off!

Oliver sprints!

A PICTURE-PERFECT V-TRIGGER KNEE STRIKE CATCHES NK RIGHT ACROSS HIS DOME! NK is blasted back toward his corner…

HHL: This might just be the opening Oliver needs…

The Younger Main crawls on weakened knees to his corner… Flynn steps through the ropes to enter the ring…

But Robert Main is still climbing the steel steps after getting his head knocked on the steel pole! The Elder Main sees Oliver in position and tries to rush grabbing the tag rope!

Oliver dives…

BUT HE’S CAUGHT BY THE ANKLE BY FLYNN…

Flynn drags Oliver back to the center of the ring… And delivers a one-finger salute to Robert Main!

OMEGA runs through the ropes to stop the assault, but is stopped by the official! As NK crawls under the bottom rope, Flynn CLAPS loudly and enters the ring!

The official blocks Omega, starting the five-count, until Robert steps back onto the ring apron, fuming! Oliver still reaches out to his big brother… But Flynn drops a knee across Oliver’s outstretched arm! Then another!

PIP: This is textbook isolation tag-team action! This is what makes Flynn and NK so dangerous as a pair!

HHL: That and the cheating.

PIP: SEMANTICS!

The official comes back and tries to order Flynn back, but Flynn yells that he tagged in! The official didn’t see it, but shrugs and allows it, as NK is laying outside the ring, on the mat, still recovering from that devastating knee strike…

Flynn scoops Oliver off the mat… And tucks his head under his opponent’s arm… He scoops him up… and flips him into a NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX!

The official stops to count Flynn’s bridge… But instead, Flynn somersaults backwards while gripping Oliver’s waist…

HHL: I don’t like Flynn as a person, but damn, when he does this, it is impressive…

Flynn regains his feet… And lifts Oliver Main off-the-mat… DELIVERING A SECOND NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX!

The official drops to count…

THR- NO! Oliver finds the will to kick-out!

NK finally starts to stir on the apron… Before he gets back up though, Page leans down to his head and whispers something in his ear… NK gets a nefarious grin on his face… And hops off the apron down to the mat…

Flynn lifts Oliver’s back off the mat and secures a surfboard stretch, driving his knee into the previously-stomped spine of the younger Main! Oliver’s arms are tugged backwards as his spine is forced forward. He howls in pain as his elder brothers boils enraged on the apron!

The official leans down into Oliver’s face, asking if he’d like to submit… Instead, Oliver tries to break Flynn’s grip, drawing his arms together… Flynn battles to maintain his grip, keeping a wide berth between Oliver’s hands!

…As he does though, Oliver twists up and works his way to one knee, Flynn still hanging on for dear life…

HHL: Impressive counter from Oliver Main! Breaking a Mark Flynn submission hold is no easy feat!

As Main twists sideways, driving Flynn into an increasingly difficult position of maintaining the hold, Flynn’s grip finally gives out! Oliver breaks free and drives an elbow into Flynn’s ribs! Followed by a thunderous chop dropping Flynn to the mat!

Flynn crawls himself up, just in time to get heaved up off the mat! Textbook Body Slam from Oliver Main!

HHL: Very impressive debut for Oliver Main, huh, Pip!

PIP: The kid knows a few moves, BIG DEAL!

Oliver tries to spring out to the APEX corner… but Flynn dives forward from the mat and chop blocks Oliver’s weakened knee from the back…

Oliver grabs his knee howling in pain as Flynn sighs with relief, grabbing Ollie’s leg and dragging him back to the center of the ring… Oliver starts crawling to his feet, Flynn bounces off the ropes looking for a clothesline…

BUT OLIVER CATCHES FLYNN! HE LIFTS!

HUUUUUUUUGE EXPLODER SUPLEX! Flynn is launched from the center of the ring backwards towards the turnbuckle…

Oliver crawls… He starts making his way to the APEX corner… Robert Main pounds the turnbuckle, eager to tag in.

Oliver works his way up from his knees and dives for the corner!

Just as Robert Main is tugged down to the padded floor! NK has snuck around the corner and yanked Robert Main out of position!

As Main hits the ground… NK unleashes a burst of MANLY, MACHISMO GREEN MIST! Robert Main is blinded! …

NK pumps his fists triumphantly! “HAHA! I succeeded Chris Page! The plan worked! I AM THE GREATEST!”

Unfortunately, NK’s self-congratulatory yelling helps Main determine his location… Omega swings… And hits paydirt catching NK with a haymaker to the jaw. NK flops to the mat onto his face, knocked out… But Rob paws, trying to find his way back to the stairs.

Oliver crawls his way up the corner to regain his footing… Calling to his brother! Robert finds the stairs and starts climbing…

But, by then, Flynn has already secured a waist lock behind Oliver! AND LAUNCHES HIM! RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX! Oliver lands right on his neck and rolls backwards toward the challenger’s corner!

[red[HHL: DAMMIT! Yet another opportunity for Oliver to tag out is prevented by Flynn & NK![/red]

PIP: By SUPERIOR tag-team wrestling, Heather!

Page crosses the corners and lifts NK by his belt completely off the ground, carrying the little loudmouth back to the challengers’ corner, dropping him on the mat.

As Robert rubs the blinding mist out of his eyes… Flynn drags Oliver back to his feet and secured another rear waist lock! He lifts Oliver into the air… ATOMIC DROP! Oliver is launched forward, resting on the middle rope…

Flynn steps out onto the apron… AND RUNS… HUGE RUNNING KNEE TO THE SIDE OF OLIVER’S HEAD!

Oliver flies backwards and onto his back…

HHL: Devastating Counterpoint! That’s been known to end a match or two…

Flynn crawls through the ropes and hooks the leg…

Oliver lifts a shoulder!

HHL: But not tonight!

Flynn scoops Oliver up into a front-facelock and drags him back to his corner, where NK has shakily climbed the steps and retaken his corner…

Flynn reaches over and tags out to NK. NK delivers a punch to Oliver’s gut and Oliver drops to one knee…

Flynn steps outside the ropes out to the apron, as NK grabs Oliver by the back of his tights and drags him upright.

”WITNESS ME, MARK FLYNN!”

NK secures a waistlock! And pops off with a German Suplex! Ollie hits his back on the mat… Then rolls back onto his feet…

NK kips-up off the ground, quite athletically!

”HAHA! I DID THAT, MARK FLYNN! YES!”

Flynn claps a couple times… Then, stops…

NK is puzzled… He turns around…

AND RECEIVES A HUGE DISCUS LARIAT! Oliver Main just about takes the North Korean’s head off his shoulders!

Flynn buries his face in his hands… Before grabbing the tag rope, screaming at NK to get up and tag back out!

Oliver slowly crawls around on his front, exhausted… Twisting back toward APEX’s corner…

Robert Main pounds the top turnbuckle! The crowd claps along with him!

NK crawls to the ropes, dazed and confused, sticking his face to the outside. Page meets the North Korean and gives him a couple wake-up slaps across his cheek to get his act together.

NK cuts left toward his partner and reaches his hand out…

Oliver crosses the center of the ring… Crawling closer… Closer… The crowd is building to a frenzy!

NK’s fingertips barely clip Flynn! The official calls for a tag!

Flynn steps through the ropes and marches in…

JUST AS OLIVER DIVES! AND SLAPS HIS BROTHER’S HAND! ROBERT MAIN IS IN THE MATCH!

Main leaps over the top rope and catches Flynn with a running clothesline!

Flynn races back to his feet… Just in time to get caught with a kick to the gut! Main steps around Flynn and tears off a VICIOUS DRAGON SUPLEX!

He holds the bridge! The official counts!

THRE- Flynn barely flops onto his front to break the count!

Main stays on the offense, though… He scoops Flynn up into powerbomb position… He heaves Flynn onto his shoulders… AND CHUCKS HIM FULL SPEED AT THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! OMEGA BOMB!

Flynn’s spine contorts unnaturally landing on the turnbuckle… He woozily walks back to the center… As Main tucks Flynn down-facing and clasps his hands around Flynn’s front… He LIIIIIIIIIIIFTS!

HUGE GUTWRENCH SUPLEX!

Main hooks the leg! This could be it!

NK steps out through the ropes and dives! Main moves and NK drops an elbow across Flynn’s throat…

”OH! MARK FLYNN! YOU GOT IN THE WAY OF MY ELBOW!”

NK stands back up and turns… Main scoops him up and SLAMS HIM DOWN! HUGE SPINEBUSTER SLAM!

Flynn is crawling back to his feet… Main calls for it… The Dead Man’s Hand…

He scoops Flynn up onto his back… But Flynn wriggles back down, with a headlock around Main’s throat! He delivers a DDT on the way down!

Main hits the ground hard… Flynn hooks the leg!

MAIN KICKS OUT AT ONE!

Flynn is shocked! Crawling backwards towards a neutral corner as Main howls furiously…

HHL: Given all of Flynn and NK’s big-talk about dominating Main the first time around, they’ve struggled to contain him all match!

PIP: You… you just wait! …They’re lulling him into a false sense of security!

HHL: I mean, at this point, the security feels very real…

PIP: …

Main stands up and goes to scoop Flynn out of the corner… Just as a crawling NK grabs him by the ankle… Main goes to stomp NK in the face… But Flynn sprints out of the corner and catches Main with a running knee to the face!

The official tries to admonish the lying-on-the-mat NK and direct him back to his corner… Oliver, having gotten a second wind, leaps over the top rope and clocks Flynn across the face with a closed-fist punch!

Flynn flops backwards toward the corner… Suddenly, NK springs to his feet running across the ring! He leaps off the middle ropes! And catches Oliver across the jaw with a GLORIOUS TRIUMPH KICK! Oliver hits the mat, as does the barely-conscious NK!

All four men lay in the ring as the crowd applauds…

The official looks very confused as to who the legal men are… who he should start a ten-count for… and who needs a five-count to exit the ring…

HHL: It looks like things have gotten a little confusing for the official as to who’s legal…

PIP: Get ready for malfeasance! SHENANIGANS!
HHL: Pip, do YOU know who’s legal in this match?

PIP: …Um… I think I lost track.

HHL: *sigh* It’s Flynn and Omega.

The official eventually determines the same thing and tries to draw Oliver back to his corner… But as he does, NK sneaks across the ring and delivers a Honorable Hero's Low Blow To The Nether Regions to a recovering Robert Main!

While the official misses this, Oliver does not! The youngest member of APEX immediately leaps over the top ropes and clotheslines NK over the top ropes! NK flops to the outside…

Oliver turns around, into a textbook dropkick by Flynn that propels the younger Main over the top-rope as well!

Flynn… raises a fist to the crowd… And gets cheers? …That’s atypical.

Flynn slowly turns around… INTO A HUGE SUPERKICK FROM ROBERT MAIN!

Flynn flops backwards, star-gazing… Main falls backwards ontop of Flynn and into the cover!

1!

2!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEE… except Flynn’s foot IS ON THE ROPE!

The official just barely stops the count… Main comes up like he won, as the official tries to point him to Flynn’s foot-on-the-rope…

HHL: Incredible ring awareness by Flynn! Great catch by the ref!

PIP: Why are you congratulating the ref for doing his job?!?! THAT’S THE BARE MINIMUM!

Main is eventually turned around and sees Flynn’s foot resting on the rope… He seethes angry… Before calling for it…

The Dead Man’s Hand! The crowd is so amped!

Page speed-walks around the ring, where NK and Oliver are both laying on the outside.

Flynn slowly but surely climbs back to his feet… Using the ropes

Page scoops NK up by the neck and tosses him into the ring…

NK rolls into the ring… And right into Main’s clutches! Main scoops him up!

DEAD MAN’S HAND!

NK IS DONE!

Main goes for the pin!

But the official knows that NK is not the legal man!

Oliver climbs back to the apron and calls for a tag!

Robert goes to tag in his brother…

Just as Flynn delivers a running dropkick! Robert is kicked into Oliver, their heads collide and Oliver is launched out into the audience railing…

Flynn drags the woozy Main to the center of the ring… And locks him into guillotine position…

BACKBREAKER… AND ROLLING CUTTER!

PIP: This match has reached its LOGICAL CONCLUSION!

HHL: I hate you, Pip.

Flynn hooks Robert Main’s leg, with a completely unconscious NK just lying in the ring beside him…

The official drops to count!

1!

2!

Main launches a shoulder off the ground…

JUUUUUUUUUST A HAIR AFTER THE THREE!!!!!

WINNERS AND NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW XWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: MARK FLYNN AND THE NORTH KOREAN WAR CRIMINAL

Main scrambles off the mat, just as Flynn rolls out of the ring. Oliver rolls into offer support, just as Page scoops up the belts and reaches under the ropes to drag the completely unconscious NK out of the ring!

PIP: FINALLY, JUSTICE HAS BEEN SERVED! The belts are back in the hands of legitimate champions! Mark Flynn and North Korean War Criminal have righted a grave wrong!

HHL: Pip, Flynn kicked Robert into Oliver. Was that maybe a tag?

PIP: …No, I don’t think so. And neither did the official.

HHL: I think it could have been.

PIP: Naaaaaaah, get your eyes checked, Heather.

HHL: *sigh* Well, if you wanted a non-controversial ending, folks… I don’t know what to tell you. But, these teams both brought intensity from the opening bell to the final move. Flynn and NK leave Fire & Ice the XWF Tag Team Champions… But Robert and Oliver Main have every reason to come after them in the future!

PIP: "We're entering the final stretch of this incredible pay-per-view, and it's only gonna get better!"

HHL: "That's right, Pip; we've still got two Title matches left, including the one coming up next: a 4 Corners Showdown for the XWF Xtreme Championship!"

PIP: "Three of these four men have held the Xtreme Title within the last couple of months, will one of them walk away with it for a second time, or will Marf throw a wrench in their plans and hold it for the first time, himself? We're just minutes away from finding out!"

Announcer: Coming to the ring first standing at 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 225 lbs, from Canada....MARF!!!!!

"Lights in the Sky" hits as the fans begin to boo. Marf makes his way out onto the stage, looking around at the audience and shaking his head in disgust. He marches to the ring while the crowd continues to boo and insult him. Marf rolls into the ring and goes to a corner, climbing up and then flipping off the crowd for more heat.

HHL: "They're gonna hate him so much more if he wins here tonight."

PIP: "Haters gonna hate!"

HHL: "Please don't ever say that again......."

PIP: "No promises."

Announcer: Coming in second, standing at 6 feet 1 inch and weighing 222 lbs, from Minneapolis, Minnesota....:The Traveler" CAGE COLEMAN!!!!

As the Instrumental version of the Power Rangers theme song begins to play, the stage parts like the Red Sea as the crowd waits with anticipation. Up from below rises none other than Cage Coleman, wearing a modified version of Saiyan armor and a green Power Ranger helmet. He holds his arms in the air with excitement before punching the air in front of him, sending fireworks shooting up entryway.

PIP: "The former Champion sure knows how to make an entrance!"

The Traveler then makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with random fans and pumping them up as he passes by. Once at ringside, he jumps up onto the apron and over the top rope, inside the squared circle. He runs the ropes a few times before taking off his entrance gear and preparing himself mentally for the match ahead.

Announcer: Coming in next, being escorted by "Chronic" Chris Page, from Detroit, Michigan, standing at 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 230 lbs, BAM MILLER!!!

The sound of a motorcycle is heard as it rolls on stage with Bam Miller on it. He points around to all the fans before riding down the ramp and around the ring, with Chris Page following close behind.

HHL: "You wanna talk about entrances? How 'bout the man Cage Coleman beat for the belt?"

PIP: "Beat's a strong word, more like 'took advantage of the 24/7 rule.'"

HHL: "Still counts."

He parks his bike and high fives a fan in the front row, then gets a Miller Lite beer tossed to him. He walks up the steel steps, and walks slowly into the middle of the ring. He opens the can up and as soon as it touches his lips pyro goes off behind him. As the pyro stops Bam Miller walks over to the corner to wait for the match to start, while Chris Page takes his place outside the ring.

PIP: "As much as I hate to say it, he did look good with that belt........... for the fifteen seconds he had it."

HHL: "Better hope he doesn't watch the replay, or it's gonna be Miller Time for you!"

PIP(gulping): "Bam Miller is a fine athlete who Cage Coleman cheated out of a decent run."

Announcer: Coming to the ring last. He is the current XWF XTREME CHAMPION from Glenmont, Maryland...standing at 5 feet 8 inches and weighing 280 pounds.....REGGIE ESTRADA!!!!!!

The smoke fills up with red on the stage, as the arena lights flickers. Then once we see "The Rebellious One" on the X-Tron, then we hear the voice of Bone Thugs and Reggie Estrada walks down to song, Xtreme Title around his waist. Then we see him with walking down the ramp, and stop at the camera gives it the finger. Then he rolls into the ring, and goes to the top rope and poses. Then he jumps down, and chills on the corner as his theme cuts off.

PIP: "Reggie Estrada won the Xtreme Championship from Cage Coleman on the (blank) edition of Savage after a series of matches in which BOTH of them went 1-1-1."

HHL: "That's right, Pip, Coleman got the better of Estrada in their first encounter, but Reggie persevered and showed Cage he was on his level by wrestling to a 30 Minute Draw in an Ironman Match where neither man scored a single fall! Reggie's performance earned him a rematch, one in which he finally SUCCEEDED, earning him the Championship, and Coleman's respect, in the process."

PIP: "As well as a target on his back! He's got three opponents here tonight, and they're some of XWF's finest!"

HHL: "Who's it gonna be? One of the former Champions, the rightful #1 Contender, or the Champ himself?"

PIP: "I don't know, Heather, but I certainly wouldn't want to be against ANY of these guys!"

Reggie Estrada hands the referee his Title, who holds it up before giving each man the opportunity to touch it. They do their thing and the ref walks it over to the time keeper before calling for the bell.

Xtreme Rules - 4 Corners Match
Warfare Rules

As soon as the bell rings, Bam Miller turns and hits Cage Coleman with a Miller Time out of nowhere! Unfortunately for him, the momentum of the move sends the former Champion flying up and over the top rope, all the way out to the floor!

HHL: "You KNOW he's been wanting to do that for a LONG time!"

PIP: "It's just too bad he can't capitalize on it."

Miller tries to catch Coleman as he tumbles to the outside, to no avail. This allows both Marf AND Reggie to sneak up on Bam and attack him from behind!

HHL: "Not likely he would've been able to capitalize, anyway, with two other opponents worry about!"

Marf and Estrada beat Miller down a bit, until he's finally able to roll under the bottom rope and escape. He heads over to Page, who gives him some words of encouragement as the two men in the ring immediately turn on each other.

PIP: "In matches like these, someone's only your ally until they're not!"

Marf traps the Champion in the corner and hammers away at him, only for Reggie to escape and do the same thing to Marf. After about ten or so punches, Estrada takes hold of his opponent's hand and Irish Whips him towards the opposite side. Marf's back bounces off the turnbuckles like it's nothing, allowing him to charge out of the corner with a monstrous Clothesline that damn near decapitates the Champion! However, before he can pin him, Bam Miller's back in the ring with a Kick and another attempt at his finisher........................................................ which escapes! Bam then turns into a Kick of his own, setting Marf up for The Sway. Before he can hit it, Cage Coleman slides in and connects with a picture perfect Superkick that drops Marf to the mat!

PIP: "Cage Coleman just saved the man he stole the Xtreme Championship from!"

HHL: "Not to mention that Miller Time he just took; I'm surprised he's even standing!"

Cage turns his attention to Miller, who hits him with a surprise Samoan Drop as Coleman approaches him! Bam lays across him and pulls a leg up for the cover.

REGGIE BREAKS IT UP WITH A KENDO STICK TO THE FACE!!!!!!!!!!

PIP: "Ladies and gentlemen, we've officially gone XTREEEEEME!"

HHL: "Well, that didn't take long."

PIP: "Longer than I expected!"

The shot breaks the weapon in half, allowing Estrada to take the jagged end that's still in his hand and drive it into Miller's face. The sharp bamboo slices away at Bam's forehead, causing him to pry at his opponent's hands in a desperate attempt to make it stop. It eventually does, thanks to a vicious chairshot from Marf that causes Reggie to drop to his knees. This allows Marf to follow it up with a second one, this time to the back of the Champ's head! Estrada lets go of Miller and plummets to the mat, allowing Marf to roll him onto his back for a pin attempt.

CAGE COLEMAN BREAKS IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PIP: "Pretty sure I saw Coleman use his left hand to break that pin up!"

HHL: "Pretty sure you're making that up."

The former Champion drags Marf to his feet and attempts to set him up for an Around the World, only for Swayson to slip off his shoulders. Coleman then turns around and is met with a Headbutt that sets him up for The Echoslide. However, Cage manages to escape behind his opponent, who turns around and swings at him with a Clothesline. Coleman ducks his arm, only to be caught with a surprise TGS from a bloody Bam Miller!

PIP: "Top Guy Slayer!"

HHL: "I don't know if the term applies to Coleman, but that doesn't make it any less effective!"

Cage collapses, allowing Bam to set his sights on Marf. Unfortunately for Miller, the former Television Champion is one step ahead of him, allowing Marf to toss him across the ring with an explosive T-Bone Suplex! He tries to follow it up with a cover, but Reggie Estrada stops him dead in his tracks with a violent chairshot across the skull!!!!

PIP: "Oooooooooooo, that's GOTTA hurt!"

HHL: "Payback's a bitch, and Marf's finding that out first hand!"

Reggie smacks Marf with the chair a few more times before tossing it aside and grabbing the back of his neck.

PIP: "Looks like Estrada's still reeling from those shots earlier."

Estrada shakes it off and drops down to pin Marf.

SHOULDER UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HHL: "Good thing Marf kicked out, 'cause there was noone around to save him!"

PIP: "I'm sure Miller and Coleman appreciate his toughness."

Reggie Estrada brings Marf to a vertical base and goes for a Neckbreaker.................................... only for Marf to reverse it into a Backslide Pin!!!!!!

2!!

KICKOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both men immediately get up and charge towards one another, with Estrada ducking underneath Marf's outstretched arms and running towards the ropes. As he goes to bounce off of them, Bam Miller pops up on the outside and bashes him across the back of the head with a Sledgehammer!!! The blow causes Reggie to stumble forward, into The Sway!!!!!!! Before Marf can cover, though, Miller reaches in and pulls him under the bottom rope, outside the ring; where he tosses him into the steel steps before rolling in and making the cover himself!

THRE---COLEMAN BREAKS IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PIP: "Bam almost pulled one over on Marf, but the man who pulled one over on him says otherwise!"

Cage yanks Miller up into a Dragon Suplex, keeping it bridged for a cover of his own.

2!!

KICKOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Despite his opponent kicking out, Cage Coleman keeps his arms locked and drags Miller back to his feet. From there, he transitions into a for a Reverse DDT, where he grabs Bam by the tights and tries to flip him backwards into a Stunner, only for Miller to block it(afterall, it IS his finisher) and wrap his arms around Coleman's waist. He attempts a German Suplex, but Cage quickly walks them over to the corner and grabs hold of the top rope. That doesn't stop Bam from trying, but his couple of thrusts do nothing more than make for an awkward scene. However, as he goes for a third one, Marf stumbles up behind him, gets into the same position as Miller, and pulls backwards as well. The extra power allows Bam Miller to toss Cage Coleman backwards, all the while being German Suplexed by Marf!!!!!!!!! To add to the already crazy sequence of events, Cage Coleman just so happens to fly up onto a dazed Reggie Estrada's shoulders and use the momentum to connect with a Reverse Hurricanranna that sends the fans into a frenzy!!!!!!

PIP: "This crowd can't believe it, and neither do I!"

HHL: "You took the words right out of my mouth, Pip; this is UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!"

Reggie rolls out of the ring as Cage Coleman hurries back to his feet, where he's met with a Big Boot by Marf! The former Champion does a full rotation before hitting the mat, allowing Swaysons to pick him up and connect with The Echoslide into a pin!!!!!!!!

2!!

THRE---BAM MILLER MAKES THE LAST SECOND SAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PIP: "We just about had a new Champion there!"

HHL: "We still might, Miller's looking to strike!"

As Marf goes to get up, Bam puts him right back down with a TGS, immediately covering after.

2!!

THRE---KICKOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PIP: "Marf's certainly got the toughness of an Xtreme Champion."

HHL: "Unfortunately for him, so do the rest of 'em."

On the outside, a recovered Reggie Estrada begins setting up a table as Bam Miller gets up and brings Marf with him. Before he can do anything, though, Marf fights back Iwith a series of rights. After about five of them, Swaysons runs to the ropes and back, only for an explosive Miller to lift him up onto his shoulders! He goes for a Death Valley Driver, but a few Elbows from Marf cause him to lose balance and stumble towards the side of the ring where Reggie's table is being positioned. This allows Marf to slip off, onto the apron, and grab hold of Bam. He then lifts Miller up for a Vertical Suplex and falls backwards, driving them both through the table!!!!!!!!!!!!

PIP: "Reggie literally had that table set up for two seconds, and it's already broken!"

Estrada throws his hands up, frustrated he didn't get to use it.

HHL: "He should just be glad it wasn't HIM that went crashing through."

Not on to give up, Reggie heads over to a different side of the ring and pulls another table out from underneath, earning a positive reaction from the crowd.

PIP: "These fans want to see more tables, and so do I!"

Estrada's a little quicker setting this one up, limiting the chances that someone other than him will get to use it. He rolls back into the ring, where Cage Coleman comes at him with a Superkick. The Champ ducks it, and responds with an STO Backbreaker that bends Coleman the wrong way!

HHL: "Glen's Park!"

PIP: "Reggie could have him right here!"

Rather than cover, though, the Xtreme Champion turns and looks towards his perfectly intact table before deciding to take Cage Coleman in that direction, instead.

HHL: "This could be a mistake!"

PIP: "Or exactly what he needs to retain his Title!"

Reggie heads all the way over to the ropes, where he climbs through onto the apron and drags Coleman out with him. From there, he positions himself for a Side Suplex, but Cage grabs onto the top rope as he attempts to hit it! With one arm securing him in place, the former Champion uses the other one to Elbow Estrada in the side of the head multiple times, forcing him to loosen his grip around Cage. This allows Coleman to do a standing switch behind him into a Dragon Suplex, only for Reggie to hold on for dear life!

HHL: "Neither man wants to go through that table!"

PIP: "Would you?!"

Cage tries to pull Reggie backwards through the table, but Estrada fights back with the heart of a Champion. Not only does he refuse to let go, he also manages to daze Coleman with a few Elbow Strikes of his own! Seeing his opening, Reggie Estrada grabs hold of Cage Coleman's head and RKOs him off the apron, through the table!!!!!!!!!!!!

CROWD: "Holy shit! Holy shit!"

PIP: "Reggie Estrada with a Bloom-Ace through a table, that just might've ended his rivalry with Cage Coleman................ as well as, quite possibly, the MATCH!!!!"

HHL: "He's gonna have to get him back in the ring if he wants to do that."

Estrada struggles to his feet, fighting through the pain in order to roll Cage Coleman back into the ring. Once he does, Reggie follows him and hooks both legs for wait surely has to be the win.

1!

2!!

THRE---MARF BREAKS IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PIP: "Had Reggie gotten Cage back in the ring just a SECOND sooner, he would've retained!"

Marf pulls Estrada up and swings, only for him to block it and respond with a fist of his own! Marf takes it and retaliates with a vicious forearm, which Reggie takes before striking back with an Uppercut! Marf comes back at him with a Kick, but Reggie catches it and pulls him in for a DDT. Before he can hit it, Marf escapes and sets Estrada up for The Sway............................... only for Reggie to flip him over his shoulders! As soon as he does, though, Bam Miller's right there to connect with a Miller Time, which he follows up with a cover!!!!!!!!!!!

1!

2!!

THRE---

KICKOUT!!?!?!!!!!??!!!!!!!!?

PIP: "How. The hell. Did Reggie kick out of THAT?!"

HHL: "Sheer will to hold on to his belt, Pip."

Bam Miller can't believe it as he clutches at his head, knowing how close he was to become Champion, once again. He quickly shakes it off and waits for Reggie to get back up, only to be turned around by Marf before he can. From there, Marf bends Miller over and hits him with the Sway; before tossing him aside, hopping back to his feet and hitting another one on a freshly risen Estrada! To top that off, Marf pops back to his feet one final time and hits a THIRD Sway on Cage Coleman, who'd just entered the ring, before rolling him onto his back for the pin!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The fans boo as the referee walks over and grabs the belt, before bringing it to Marf. He celebrates with it, receiving even more hate for his trouble, only to laugh and flip everybody off.

PIP: "Before, they only hated him, now they're going to despise him!"

HHL: "Think what you will about him, but Marf just defeated some of XWF's finest here tonight to become the new Xtreme Champion. Three men walked in having held that Title, and now four walk out. What a match!"

”Ladies and Gentleman, the following contest is your MAIN EVENT of the evening, it is a STREET FIGHT for the XWF UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

The crowd erupts with a huge ovation!

”Introducing first, he is the challenger! He’s being led to the ring tonight by “CHRONIC” CHRIS PAGE, he is the number one contender for the XWF Universal Championship… representing The Exiles, representing CCP Enterprises, he is PETER VAUGHN!”

The lights in the arena go out, causing the usual hysteria from the crowd. After a few seconds, Peter Vaughn's face appears on the big tron, darkly smirking down at the fans.

"This Time... It's Different."

After Vaughn finishes speaking, he begins to laugh. His laughter carries on as the Tron video overtakes his image, beginning with "This Time It's Different" by Evans Blue. Sparks begin to erupt around the stage, showering nearby fans who feel like they're a little too close to the action. As the fireworks die down, a figure appears through the smoke and haze. Peter Vaughn walks forward wearing his dark blue gear, with the TPW International Championship wrapped around his waist. He stops at the top of the ramp, surveying the negative reaction from the crowd.

Walking out joining Vaughn is Chris Page. Vaughn and Page bump fists before Peter surveys the reaction. From his reaction, you'd think they were chanting his name, as he walks down the aisle with a cocky smile. Once ringside Page has some words for Vaughn who listens intently before removing the TPW International Championship handing it over to Page before nodding his head. Page is seen saying.

CHRIS PAGE: It’s your night. Take it.

Vaughn and Page bump fist a second time before Peter slides into the ring waiting for the Universal Champion as Page takes his spot in Peter’s corner.

”And his opponent…”

The crowd ERUPTS!

”About to make his way to the ring, being led tonight by DREW ARCHYLE, he is the current reigning and defending XWF Universal Champion; representing Apex, he is JIM CAEDUS!”

The now familiar opening notes to "Ready Steady Go" by Paul Oakenfold begin to blast from the PA moments before the ring announcer plugs. The fans erupt. As the spiel is unloaded the lights cut, plunging the arena in darkness before silver strobes begin to flash and silver spotlights begin to continuously wave from along the length of the entrance walkway to the crowd and back.

Obviously practiced and well-timed, the moment the announcer finishes, "ready, steady, g-g-go!" is let fly by the song's vocalist and silver pyro erupts from the egress. Before the cloud of smoke dissipates, Jim Caedus emerges as the house lights come up followed by Drew Archyle. His hair hangs freely, bandanna covering the majority of his face, his eyes absent of emotion as he surveys the crowd of cheering APEX and/or Caedus marks and smarks as well as the BoBliophiles shouting insults, Fuck You and booing.

As the music continues he turns his attention to the ring and it's inhabitant(s) before advancing forward while carefully gathering his long blonde hair into a secured samurai-style bun. At ringside he removes his bandanna, he turns towards Drew who shares a few words. Caedus scales the steps, ascending to the apron and stepping through the ropes into battle.

PIP: It all comes down to this for the Universal Championship. It’s Caedus and Vaughn, and it’s now!

Caedus and Vaughn glare across the ring from each other while the crowd gets louder and louder. They start to walk out towards the center of the ring immediately locking up which sees Caedus using his height and weight advantage to muscle Vaughn back into a neutral corner where he pushes Vaughn back into the buckles to a pop from the crowd. Caedus backs out towards the center of the ring. Vaughn takes his time coming out of the corner as he walks over to his corner where he dips his head through the top and middle rope as Chris Page is shown whispering something in his ear.

Vaughn nods his head before turning his attention back towards Caedus who motions for him to bring it on.

HHL: No signs of intimidation being shown by the Universal Champion. He’s been waiting for this night since Bad Medicine.

Vaughn comes out from his corner where he and Caedus circle each other where they look to lock up, Peter evades as he ducks under and as Jim spins around we see Vaughn slap him right across the face! An enraged Caedus swings at Vaughn who blocks and nails Caedus with a forearm to the jaw followed by a kick to the right knee and then a European Uppercut attempt that Caedus steps back causing Vaughn to miss where Caedus locks in a quick back waist lock where he snaps off a German Release Suplex to a huge pop from the crowd!

Vaughn rolls out to the floor where Page makes his way over checking on him. In the ring Caedus charges towards the ropes only to see Page pull Peter out of harms way to massive boos from the crowd. Caedus stops his momentum before rolling out to the floor, Page steps away as to not get more involved and as Caedus comes up on Vaughn he’s thumbed in the eye! The challenger takes the champion bouncing him head first off the top of the ring steps!

PIP: A street fight means it’s all legal. Anything goes.

Drew comes around the corner of the ring keeping his eyes on Page as Vaughn drives the champion face first off the top of the steps a second time! We get a shot of Lux and Bam hanging high above the stage over a large pool of goo before going full screen on Vaughn and Caedus as we see Vaughn fire Jim into the security railing. He rushes forward where Jim elevates Vaughn into the front row with a back body drop!

Jim wastes no time where he climbs over the barrier and into the crowd!

He picks up Vaugh where he hammers him with a right strike before headbutting him across the bridge of the nose! Jim takes Vaughn through the crowd up an aisle where he sends him sailing into a trash can!

HHL: Clean up on aisle three!

Page and Drew stick around ringside maintaining their distance from the action as we see Caedus stomping away at the sternum and ribs of Vaughn! He picks up the trash can where he cracks it across the back of Vaughn as he reaches all fours!

The crowd roars as Jim empties the trash on top of Vaughn!

Caedus is offered a beer from one of the fans. He takes the plastic cup and takes a huge gulp quenching his thirst and as he turns back around towards Vaughn it’s the challenger who is able to smack the beer up back into the face and eyes of Caedus! Vaughn follows up with a Sling Blade onto the concrete floor!

PIP: The sickening sound of body smacking concrete! The champion is down!

Vaughn is the first to his feet where he picks up Caedus where he yanks him up a set of stairs into the lower bowl of the custom up to an entry of the concourse area. Vaughn blasts Caedus with a European Uppercut knocking him back towards a merchandise table. They are quickly surrounded by screaming fans as Vaughn see’s a janitor’s cart off to the side. He smiles. He walks over where he snatches a mop out of a bucket on the front of the cart.

Caedus is starting to get to his feet where Vaughn comes over jabbing the mop into Jim’s face, rubbing it in for good measure. He cracks Jim in the ribs with the mop handle. Vaughn tosses the mop to the floor where he positions Caedus for a Powerbomb! He hoists Jim up into the air looking to powerbomb him through the merchandise table only to see the Champion counter with a Tornado DDT sending Vaughn and Caedus crashing through the table!

HHL: Dear god!

“HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!” echoes throughout the arena as we get shots of the shocked faces of Drew Archyle and Chris Page at ringside as they watch the carnage with the rest of the fans! We cut back to Caedus and Vaughn laying in the ruble of the broken table on the concourse. The referee is on hand, but there’s nothing he can do.

PIP: It doesn’t matter where this one goes because it can only end inside the ring. You have to think Vaughn took the worst of that one.

Jim start to stir as the crowd that’s gathered around cheer him on. The Universal Champion starts pushing himself up to his feet where he takes notices of the mop and then over towards the janitors cart! Jim snatches Vaughn up by the suit, he takes him towards the janitors cart where the mop bucket is on the front of the cart! Caedus dunks Vaughn’s head into the mop water! He holds his head under water until he yanks it up. He dunks it back into the water for several more second before pulling it back up.

Caedus hurls a soaking wet Vaughn backward on the concrete floor.

He turns his attention towards the cart it self. He takes it by the handles where he sizes up Vaughn. Caedus charges forward pushing the cart towards Vaughn who manages to roll out of the way sending it smashing against the wall! An aerosol can of pledge rolls towards Varughn, he snatches it, shakes it and sprays Jim in the eyes as he come forward!

HHL: Oh my god!! Vaughn could have blinded Caedus!

PIP: Anything and everything is legal tonight at Fire and Ice!

Vaughn gets back to his feet where he comes up on the blinded Caedus that swings wildly in the air, he ducks before booting Caedus in the midsection, locks a front face lock where he snaps off a suplex onto the floor! Peter is the first back to his feet, clutching his lower back. His eyes focus on something off camera! Vaughn leaves the screen, seconds later we hear the sounds of something firing up.

Vaugh returns with a floor buffer!

Vaughn tries to run over Caedus head but Jim is able to roll out of the way at the last possible second! Vaughn yanks the cord out of a wall socket off camera where he wraps it around Caedus neck and starts choking out the Universal Champion!

PIP: The challenger is taking the fight right back to the Champion.

HHL: He’s choking the life out of Caedus!

Jim drops to one knee as Vaughn continues to use the powercord of the buffing machine. He yanks Jim back up to his feet only to have Caedus counter with a jaw breaker that breaks the choke from Vaughn! Jim slowly starts getting back to his feet, Vaughn charges towards Caedus who side steps him sending him running back through a black curtain and back into the arena where he stops himself before falling down the steps.

Vaughn spins around where we see Caedus come through the curtain with a fire extinguisher being sprayed in his face! The thick white cloud of smoke engulfs Vaughn! Caedus drops the extinguisher and once the cloud clears he hits a Purgatory Punch on Vaughn sending him falling backward where he tumbles down all the steps into the lower bowl of the arena!

PIP: These two men are beating the hell out of each other!

HHL: We knew coming in that this wasn’t going to be pretty. All the hostility is boiling over! Vaughn might back and broken back after that!

The crowd is solidly behind Caedus as he shifts his attention to Bam and Lux hanging in the cage over the massive pool of goo. He flips them off to a thunderous ovation before starting to come down the stairs as Vaughn tumbles all the way down to the arena floor. Page nears the barricade as he screams out towards Vaughn which brings Drew around the corner of the ring keeping a close eye on CCP. Jim makes it down the steps where he clubs Vaughn across the back with a double ax handle as he reaches all fours.

PIP: They’re headed back towards the ring, or I certainly hope.

Caedus picks up Peter where he yanks him by the hair and suits towards the security barrier, as they get closer Page backs away creating enough distance not to be a threat. Caedus drives Vaughn lower back first into the barrier. He backs up and charges forward swinging with a lariat, Vaughn throws up his boot connecting to the face of Caedus knocking him back. Jim recovers and rushes towards Vaughn who does a handstand where he catches Caedus’s head with his feet and carries Caedus over the barricade with a Handspring Headscissor takeover.

HHL: What a counter by the challenger, unique offense to say the very least.

Vaughn climbs up on the security barrier where he measures Caedus who is pushing himself up off the floor and back to his feet where Vaughn jumps off the barrier delivering a flying head scissors snapping Caedus back over to the floor near the feet of Drew Archyle. Page rallies Vaughn on as he makes his way towards Jim shoeing Drew away. He picks up Caedus where he hurls him back into the ring!

Vaughn reaches under the ring apron where he pulls out a table!

Vaughn slides it into the ring where he slides in after it. He reaches his feet where he stomps away at the Universal Champion. He picks up Caedus before shooting him into a neutral corner, Vaughn charges in after Jim where he eats a reverse elbow! Vaughn is rocked as Caedus comes out from the corner where he hooks and delivers a T-Bone Suplex into the turnbuckles! Vaughn hits the mat hard as Caedue yanks him out to the center of the ring where he makes the first cover of the contest!

THRE…

Vaughn escapes the near fall as we get a shot of Drew in Jim’s corner rooting him on. Caedus gets to one knee before stepping up to his feet. He turns his attention towards the table that rests in the ring. The crowd responds as he walks over, flipping it over on to its top, he opens the legs of the table where he flips it over setting it up in the ring.

PIP: We’ve already seen Vaughn put through one table… and it looks like he’s about to be put through a second!

Caedus picks Vaughn up where he drives him face first off the table itself! Caedus slides out to the floor where he pulls out a Ladder from under the ring. He slides it into the ring before coming in after it as the crowd is on fire. He takes the Ladder, leans it back into a neutral corner before turning his attention back towards Vaughn.

Caedus snatches Vaughn up off the mat where he takes him into the opposite corner from the Ladder. He looks to shoot him across the ring with an Irish Whip only to see the challenger reverse and it’s Caedus that’s sent crashing back first off the Ladder where he staggers out towards Vaughn who connects with a sitout Jawbreaker sending Caedus backwards onto the Table!

Vaughn steps back up to his feet where he moves toward the Ladder.

He takes the Ladder, opens the legs and sets it up near the corner. The crowd comes alive once again as Vaughn starts to scale the Ladder!

HHL: Vaughn’s going superhigh risk!

With Caedus sprawled on the table we see Peter standing up on the tippy top of the Ladder before jumping off withing a Diving Elbow Drop down on top of Caedus driving both men through the table to a thunderous ovation from the crowd!

PIP: DEAR GOD! HOW MUCH MORE CAN EITHER MAN TAKE!

Page screams instruction to Vaughn from the floor as we see Vaughn slowly crawling to a cover on the Universal Champion!

THRE…

Caedus kicks out of the near fall blowing the room off the newly developed arena!

HHL: CAEDUS IS STILL ALIVE!

“THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME!” starts to ring out from all over the arena directed towards the ring. Vaughn starts pushing himself up off the mat and back to his feet. He glances up towards the Cage hanging near the ramp where he gives Lux and Bam a thumbs up.

PIP: The challenger has the champion in trouble!

Vaughn makes his way over to the Ladder, he folds it up where he suplexes it onto Caedus! He shoves the Ladder off Jim making another cover.

THRE…

Caedus escapes the near fall shooting a shoulder up off the mat. Drew attempts to rally Jim on from the floor from his corner while Page paces the floor in Vaughn’s corner while in the ring Peter starts getting back up to a vertical base. He reaches down picking Jim up where he delivers a standing dropkick that sends Caedus spilling out to the floor. Vaughn sizes up Jim where he bounces off the far side where he gains a full ahead of steam, he looks for the Suicide Dive as the Champion steps up to his feet to see Caedus with a PURGATORY PUNCH to the temple of Vaughn knocking him out of midair!

Caedus goes back under the ring where he pulls out a Barbwire Wrapped Kendo Stick!

HHL: Caedus is about to take this to the next level!

PIP: A Barbwire Wrapped Kendo Stick!

Jim has a smirk on his face as Vaughn is shown getting to his knees. Jim comes over standing over Vaughn where he takes the kendo stick and starts grating the shards of barbed wire against the forehead of Vaughn which opens him up to a roar from the crowd! Caedus picks Vaughn up where he cracks him in the bloody forehead with the barbed wire wrapped Kendo Stick!

HHL: Vaughn’s been laid wide open!

Vaughn hits the floor like a sack of potatoes as Jim uses the barbed wire wrapped Kendo stick as an elbow driving it into the skull of Vaughn on the floor! Caedus tosses the Kendo stick to the floor before picking up a bloody challenger where he hurls him back into the ring. Caedus slides into the ring making the cover.

THRE…

Vaughn kicks out to a huge gasp from the crowd as the Universal Champion gets to both knees cutting his eyes at the referee who shows him two fingers. Jim steps back up to his feet, he picks Vaughn up where he takes him back into the ropes, Jim shoots Vaughn across the ring with an Irish Whip, Vaughn bounces off the ropes and into a Tilt-A-Whirl backbreaker! Caedus forces Vaughn’s shoulders to the mat!

THRE…

Vaughn escapes the near fall once again!

PIP: Caedus is pressing the offense, he knows he’s got the challenger in trouble!

HHL: It’s not his first rodeo.

Jim steps back up to his feet where he reaches down picking up Vaughn only to be met with a low blow from the challenger! The boos from the crowd echo out as Caedus stumbles backward into a neutral corner! Blood covers Vaughn’s face as he pushes himself up to his feet. He staggers towards the corner where he hoists up Caedus to the top turnbuckle. He decks Jim with a right hand before Jim steps up to the middle rope.

He takes Jim as he steps up to the top rope. Vaughn pulls Jim up, and with them standing on the top rope we see Peter Vaughn pull off a beautiful Spanish Fly!

The crowd pops huge for the maneuver as the challenger makes the cover hooking the near leg.

THRE…

The roof explodes as Caedus shoots a shoulder up off the mat!

HHL: The Universal Champion will not die tonight at Fire and Ice!

PIP: They’ve thrown everything at each other! Pulling out all stops along the way!

Vaughn slowly starts to step up to his feet as the referee shows two fingers to the bloody challenger. Page shouts out instructions from the corner as Vaughn steps through the ropes out to the ring apron where he begins to climb back up to the top ropes.

HHL: The Challenger is heading back to the high rent district.

Vaughn stands up the top turnbuckles! Vaughn sets sail with a Shooting Star Leg Drop!

PIP: THE PLUNGE!

Caedus rolls out of the way, sending Vaughn crashing and burning as he crashes down onto the mat to a roar from the crowd!

HHL: CAEDUS MOVED!

The crowd rallies behind the Universal Champion as Drew pounds away on the ring apron pumping up the crowd further. Jim pushes himself up off the mat to one knee, he steps up to his feet where he gazes down at Vaughn, then over at the Ladder laying on the mat across the ring. He walks over, dragging the Ladder out towards the center of the ring laying it flat on the mat.

Caedus reaches down where he picks Vaughn up off the mat. The crowd roars louder as Caedus takes Vaughn up over his shoulders with a Torture Rack!

PIP: Caedus is looking for Katabasis on the Ladder!

Vaughn gouges the eyes of Caedus where he slides down the back of Caedus where he hits the Zig Zag driving Caedus back first across the Ladder!

HHL: REVENGED!

Vaughn scurries into the cover with a back press hooking the near leg!

WINNER AND NEW UNIVERSAL CHAMPION: PETER VAUGHN

PIP: WE GOT A NEW CHAMPION!

HHL: Peter Vaughn has just defeated Jim Caedus! This place is in shock!

Chris Page takes the Universal Championship from the time keeper before making his way up the steps to the ring apron. Drew pulls Jim out to the floor where he helps him up the ramp. Page steps through the ropes where he shoves the referee out of the way. Vaughn is on his knees, wiping the blood from his face.

Reality sets in as Chris presents Peter with the Universal Championship!

Pyro begins to explode all over the arena! Chris helps Peter up to his feet where he raises his arm in the air! The cage hovering near the ramp starts to lower as Lux and Bam celebrate inside. Page holds Peter’s right arm up in the air before releasing it as he turns Vaughn towards him.

CHRIS PAGE:: You did this.

He applauds Vaughn who nods before walking over towards a neutral corner, stepping up on the top middle rope where he raises the Universal Championship high in the air.

PIP: You can’t say Vaughn didn’t earn that victory.

HHL: The Exiles have risen to the top of the XWF in a short period of time. What’s next for Peter Vaughn as the new Universal Champion?

The cage reaches the arena floor where a referee unlocks it allowing Xavior Lux and Bam Miller to get out where they run down to the ring joining Peter as they celebrate with the leader of the Exiles.

HHL: Can you believe it, Pip? We have a new Universal Champion!

PIP: Of course I can! Peter Vaugn now holds TWO world championships, and you've got to think that the man entering the ring with the Universal Championship has had something to do with this run of success. Whether they like it or not here in Iceland, or anywhere around the world, it cannot be disputed that Peter Vaughn is now the XWF Universal Champion!

HHL: Not only that Pip, Vaughn's victory over Jim Caedus clinches the win for House Diamond as they just nudge out House Big. Peter Vaughn truly might be the most important wrestler in the business today. Two World titles and a clinching win for his team. What an incredible run "The Mechanic" is on right now.

Right on cue, the lights go out.

Because of course they do.

An initial roar settles into a quiet murmur.

HHL: What on Earth is going on?

PIP: Nothing good, I imagine. It never is when the lights go out.

Bursts of flame shoot out from the entrance ramp as Billy Joel begins to play over the speaker system.

HHL: Is that anyone's theme song that you can recall, Pip?

PIP: Nobody springs to mind.

Movement on the stage announces the arrival of…

HHL: Are those fucking firemen?

The lights come up as a stream of men dressed in full fireman outfits that wouldn't look out of place in Magic Mike come dancing down the aisle.

PIP: What the…

The crew must be about 15 strong, pumping their fists all the way down the ramp and to the ringside area. They spread out around the ring, dancing their little hearts out.

While Vaughn keeps the title clutched tight, Page begins barking at the referee to do something about the dancing firemen. As the first jumps up onto apron, Page decides to take matters into his own hands and starts decking the firemen. Vaughn quickly joins in and punch after punch connects with the firemen as soon as they get up to the apron. Pretty soon, the entire ringside area is littered with beefcakes in bright yellow.

HHL: You know, for some people this many firemen would be a dream come true.

PIP: People like you?

HHL: I know we’re not state-side right now, but I'm going to go ahead and plead the fifth anyway. Based on how they reacted, I think it’s safe to say that Peter Vaughn and Chris Page cannot be counted amongst my… I mean, those people.

Vaughn scans the fallen bodies, while Page keeps mouthing off to the referee.

And the lights go out again.

PIP: What next?

HHL: I'm hoping for police officers.

PIP: Keep it in your pants.

It's not police officers. The lights come up and snow begins to fall from the makeshift dome created for tonight’s event, while Vanilla Ice plays over the speakers, and a line of snowmen come out onto the stage.

HHL: Dammit…

PIP: I think I get what’s going on here with these songs, and I guess this song is supposed to represent ice, but if I’m being honest with myself… this rap is straight fire.

The snowmen shuffle towards the ring, and…

PIP: Wait, where did the firemen go?

The ringside area is completely bare of bodies. But not for long. Page meets the snowmen at the entrance, laying into any he can get his hands on, but some others bleed past. Any that make it to the ring apron are quickly taken care of by Vaughn until eventually there are men in goofy costumes laying everywhere.

HHL: Okay. So we've had fire, and we had ice. What now?

The lights go out.

Silence follows. Long and protracted.

We wait.

In the darkness, fire rises around the ring. At the same time, snow begins to fall from the ceiling, catching the light of the flames and shimmering like stars.

There is fire.

There is ice.

And standing in the middle of the ring as the lights come up…

There is ALIAS.

The crowd erupts like a volcano. The ground quakes in a cacophony of excitement.

ALIAS stands, staring across from Peter Vaughn. The snowmen, like the firemen before them, have vanished.

And in his hands, somehow, is Vaughn's Universal Championship. He holds it above the champion's head, staring holes through him.

The lights die one more time. When they return, ALIAS is gone. The Universal Championship lies in the middle of the ring and Peter Vaughn picks it up, his face taught as he poses with it.

HHL: Well that's all the time we have XWF Universe. Tune in to Wednesday Night Warfare on February 16th to see what the winners of Fire and Ice receive as their prize from Derrick Diamond!! Good night everyone!!

So much to love here. Duke v. Duke was incredible, we had Gator, a returning Alias, the matches were top quality and seemed (to me at least) to be good representives of the individual characters. Oh yeah, Bobby's return/food fight. Lol. Loved it.

To my opponents, I can safely say I wasn't sure I was coming out of this one with the win. You both brought it hard and if either Omega of The Chamelon want to have another go I'm all for it.

Great show guys.
