In a statement sent to wrestling news outlets today (see any dirtsheet willing to run it). Micheal Graves released a statement addressing the latest backlash towards his return to television when Jim Caedus insinuated that Micheal had once killed his family on a murderous ax rampage.

"No, I have never killed anyone with an ax, though there have been a few people that I'd love to make my first. The incident that Jim was referencing was simply an analogy that I had made about the XWF and family. At the time, Robbie Bourbon very much played dense and pretended as if he literally meant that I killed my family with an ax. Good play, hindsight and all. He had me so worked up over the details that I didn't even notice Jefferson Jackson sticking his nose into the match. Hey, remember that guy? Is he still around? Anyway, yeah, no, never killed my family with an ax. I'd give Jimmy credit and say he was just trying to rattle my cage before the match like Robbie had before, but if so, LAME to try and piggyback off the same guy he gave me gruff for "copying the unmasking schtick" despite me doing it first, and it means a HELL OF A LOT LESS FOR ME, since you know, it HAS been off before, unlike Robbies. It's actually kind of sad to see Jimmy stretch to such lengths knowing full well how full of shit he was bringing it up, but only doing so because he thought that he was safe from response. Like there's some fucking gag order after the match, and I can only address his words there. He thought he knew that I was done talking. Hell, he even treated it as a win that I couldn't respond to call his bullshit, thinking that official company promos are the only way to enlighten people to the truth, and that story about letting me float face down in the river for an hour and a half is straight up-"
