The scene opens up to after the opening match of Saturday Night Savage. We see an angry Andre Dixon walking through the back as he flips over a table and walks into his locker room. In his locker room you can tell Andre is not happy as he is still punching the lockers and breaking anything he can get his hands on. All of a sudden the door opens up again and at the door we see a figure standing there with pretty much everything covered up. He has a hoody on that is over his head and it is hard to make out who the person is.

"Calm down big fella." He says calmly.

"Fuck you..." Andre says before turning to see who it is. We can't see who Andre is talking to but Andre's tone changes real quick as he notices who it is he is talking to.

"Shit my bad." Andre says apologetically. "I didn't realize it was you.'

"All good big buy. What's the problem?" The strange man asks.

"I should've had him. I should've beaten Corey Smith." Andre says angrily as he throws his water bottle across the room.

"When's the last time you wrestled again?" The man asks.

"I dunno...10 years ago maybe. Why?" Andre asks still visibly upset.

"It's been 10 years and you just took it to one of the best in the XWF. You would've beaten the majority of the roster tonight." The man says emphatically hoping to calm Andre down.

"Yeah...but I didn't face the rest of the roster. I faced him." Andre responds.

"And you'll get another shot at him and when you do you will be way more prepared than you were tonight and way less rusty. Get your shit together though. This isn't a good look." The man says as he is getting more impatient.

"You know how I get after a loss..."

"Yeah, that's why I had to make sure I came and talked to you."

"There's nothing to talk about. I'll be aight..." Andre responds somewhat brushing him off.

"You better be..." The stranger responds as he moves a little closer to Andre. "Don't forget that there's a bigger picture here. There's always a bigger picture. This was one match."

"You're right but..." Andre tries to respond before he's cut off by the stranger who is now right next to Andre.

"But nothing. Don't forget why I brought you here. Bigger picture. Rumor is you'll be in the Second Chance Royale at March Madness. That's your chance..."

"My chance?" Andre asks confused.

"I know you wanted to make a statement by beating Corey."

"I didn't though..."

"You didn't beat him, no. But you did make a statement. Not many can handle going up against Corey. Much less in their first match. You handled yourself very well. If anything you should be proud" The stranger says as he puts one hand on Andre's shoulder.

"I guess..." Andre says as he pulls away.

"Win that battle royale. That'll be a way bigger statement than winning this match."

"I can do that." Andre says.

"That's better. Making it to the Finals of the March Madness in your second event would open a lot of eyes."

"I'm not going to make it to the finals...I'm going to WIN that shit. THAT'S the statement I want to make." Andre responds confidently and no longer upset.

"That's the confident Andre I know. Now wrap this shit up, and meet me after the show and we can talk about what really matters."

"You're right my G. My bad." Andre apologizes.

"You never have to apologize to me for being passionate. I love that shit..." The stranger says looking at Andre before turning around and walking out of the locker room as the scene fades.

WORDS FROM THE KING:

XWF...lets try this again, shall we? A second chance to make a name for myself in the...Second Chance Battle Royale. Fitting isn't it? To be honest, when they first came to me with this match I said nah. I didn't think I wanted any part of a Second Chance Royale. At first, I didn't think it was fair. Then I remembered...this is the XWF. Fair got thrown out the window a long fuckin' time ago. So I called Theo back and told him to put me in that bitch. It just makes sense, right? A chance to go to the Finals of the March Madness Tournament after only two matches in the XWF? Everyone else had to go through a grueling tournament with some of the best wrestlers in the XWF. They had to win what...4 matches just to make the finals? For me? I've just got to beat a bunch of guys and girls who weren't even good enough to make it to the Elite 8 of the tournament. There's no need to put myself through the entire tournament when I can do it all in one match and STILL be in the Finals. Why do all the extra work when you can just wait till the end and beat a bunch of rejects, right?

This rag-tag group of rejects isn't going to be happy that I'm in this match. Most of them have already proven they can't hang with the Elite 8. They really should've just stuck with their regular matches. Some of these guys even have title matches to worry about. But instead of doing that they decided they wanted to be badass mother fuckers and try and win the Second Chance Royale, their title match, AND the finals of the tournament. Is it really worth messing up those matches and risking those belts to have a second chance at a tournament that you already have proven you weren't good enough to be in? It just doesn't make sense to me. I know a lot of these guys and girls think they're better than they actually are. They think they can come into March Madness on some Relentless shit. But this is ONE night, not three. It just doesn't make sense to me. These guys all of a sudden think they're on the level of Continuum when the truth is there's only one person in this royale that can hang with the best and that's The King.

So let's take a look at the lineup, shall we?

Peter Pillmour. Who? I've heard of Peter Gilmour but Peter Pillmour? I don't think I need to worry about whoever the fuck this is just like I wouldn't worry about if Peter Gilmour was in this match. This guy is a complete non-factor. Is this like Peter Gilmour except on pills? So a more chill Peter Gilmour? That sounds like an upgrade to me. Yeah...even I know who Peter Gilmour is and how much of a piece of garbage the guy is.

Diesel. This old fuck? I'm supposed to be worried about a guy who probably needs Viagra to get his dick hard? I mean am I going to be responsible if this old man has a heart attack and dies? This guy is supposed to throw me out of the ring? He'll probably throw his back out as soon as he tries to lift me. Seriously though I looked into this guy. Of course, he's part of BOB, because he has to have someone remind him of all the shit he forgets. After all, even though he thinks it's 95 and he's only 36, this man was born in 1959! The fuck? All I'm saying is don't be mad at me if this 60+-year-old has a heart attack or stroke and BOB loses one of its members. So that makes two people that I don't have to worry about at all. Who's next...

Ethos. Where the fuck do you guys get these rejects from? Where do I even start with this guy? Apparently, he's someone who has been here before and is making a comeback. Yet...nobody seems to care. Seriously I hadn't even really heard his name until I saw he was in this royale. His bio claims he's 5'10 and nearly 260 pounds. That sound kind of...well...out of shape. What have you been doing since you last wrestled? Hitting every buffet in the East Coast? You might be coming into this match hungry, but it's not the same kind of hunger that the rest of us have. Plus this guy is blind in one eye? Which one is it? Once I figure that out you're fucked. I'll just stand on the other side of you and then throw your fat ass out of the ring. I know you probably want people to be all like "who could this guy possibly be?!" but the truth is nobody cares. Like...nobody. Next!

Dean Rose. The Internet Champion of the World. Damn...saying it out loud sounds even dumber. I'm sure Dean is going to come out here and brag about being the Internet Champion. Even though he beat some fat fuck who hasn't been relevant since...well has he ever? The thing is NOBODY gives a damn about the Internet Title except for...well you. I don't care if you're the fastest, longest, or even the best Internet Champion of all time. And quite frankly nobody else does either. In fact, most people don't even want to hold that belt because, like your career, it's worthless. Nobody gives a shit about the belt. I hate to break it to you but it's like a participation trophy. So please spare us when you come out and cut a promo with all the Internet Title bullshit. Save that for somebody who cares. Oh wait...nobody does. Nobody cares about that fake ass belt just like nobody cares about you. Go argue with some celebrity that nobody ever cared about either. You guys are a match made in heaven. Next!

Mickey Kinkade. This guy apparently likes to refer to himself as The Kink. I imagine he's into some kinky shit. I'm not 100% certain about this but I'd venture to say our boy Mickey here has done a lot of porn in his life. And while none of it was ever good enough to make it big, kind of like his wrestling career, the sheer number of tries he's made is impressive. I personally will not be looking into it but I'm sure Demos is watching that shit right now. At least this guy is somewhat interesting though compared to most of the rest of the people in this thing. I'll definitely keep my eye on you, but not in the way you'd probably like. Next!

Champ Sportsman. What the fuck did I get myself into? When am I going to get to the REAL competition? I'm supposed to worry about a guy whose real name is Champagne? That sounds like a stripper to me, not someone I have to worry about in the ring. We're talking about a good sport who doesn't have much experience in wrestling but who is all about keeping it clean and being a good sport. You realize this is the XWF right? This shit is going to get dirty. But after I throw your ass over the top rope and eliminate you at least I know I can depend on you to be a good sport about it. Next!

Captain Future. Can anyone say filler? Do I even need to address this guy? Apparently, he was born in 230 BC, has a bulge at all times, and is a space caucasian. A 6'5 200 pound high flyer. I'm gonna make quick work of my guy and send him flying out of the ring with a quickness. Next!

Ruckus. They just let anyone into this thing, huh? Way to make us feel special guys. We are talking about a 50 plus-year-old, 300-pound truck driver. A guy whose weakness is being slow, and often predictable. That's not good in a battle royale setting, now is it Ruckus? Your size might be a problem for a lot of the guys and girls in this thing, but not for me. Next!

Scarlet The Hunteress. Finally! A real wrestler! Not a good one but at least a real wrestler with wins, and a chance...to look really good as I throw her fine ass over the top rope. I'm going to keep you in this match for as long as I can because at least it'll give me something nice to look at while I single-handedly eliminate every single one of these losers. Next!

Kris The Hammer Von Bonn. Another member of The Misfits. The biggest group of losers in the XWF. And that's saying something considering BOB is a thing. At least Scarlet is nice to look at. You on the other hand? You really bring nothing to this match. You, like most of these guys, have no shot in this match. You're a name that they added because they needed more names. That's it. Go ahead and bring your hammer to this match too, hell bring your entire toolbox, and I don't mean the rest of the Misfits. Next!

Calypso. And here I thought I was eventually going to start getting to some real competition. Calypso isn't that though, is he? Despite being a former TV Champion he really doesn't bring anything to this match. When I saw that you were a former TV Champion I thought to myself finally some competition. Someone who actually has a chance. Then I looked into it a little more and found out that it was over 2 years ago and only lasted 2 weeks. Wow...impressive... Next!

Terry Borden. Finally some comp...sorry...I tried to say that shit with a straight face but let's face it Terry Borden and being competitive don't really go together, now do they? You're in this match for the entertainment factor and that's it. And don't even think about calling me brother, brother! I know you're old and were probably around when slavery was still a thing but it's 2021 and that shit ain't cool, brother! Next!

Liam Roberts. Another filler as far as I'm concerned. In the gaming community, we call Liam a bot. He's got no shot in this match. My money would be on him being one of the first ones eliminated. Hopefully by me. Next!

Demos. Now we've finally made it to the real meat and potatoes of this field. Demos is one of the main contenders in this match without a doubt. He's one of the few that I will actually have to worry about. Not because of his talent but more so because it's going to be hard to throw this fat fuck over the top rope. I'm going to have to finagle some shit and maybe work with someone to pick this bastard up and throw him over the top rope. Seriously though Demos is one of the best wrestlers in this match. Not because of his skill necessarily but more so because...look at the rest of these losers. You know it's going to be easy when Demos is the "star" of the match. You're off to a pretty impressive career so far Demos. There's no doubting that. Apparently, you're the longest-running TV Champion of the modern era which is very impressive. Why risk that for a chance at this tournament though? I know you like to abuse yourself but do you really think it's worth it to risk your great reign just for a chance at a tournament that you honestly aren't good enough to win? Just think about that buddy. And if any of this insults you, then maybe you should take real offense to it and face me one v. one after this tournament and put that belt on the line...if you still have it because quite frankly you're taking a risk that's not worth taking. Not when you don't really stand a chance in this battle royale just like you don't in the tournament. You do, however, have a chance at beating Marf and retaining your title.

Ned Kaye. Excuse me, Notorious Ned Kaye. Ned Kaye is probably the best wrestler in the field as far as accomplishments go. I think you've got the most XWF wins of everyone in this Second Chance Royale. You're a former Hart Champion, a former Leap of Faith winner, and a former Star of the month. Do you know what the keywords there are? FORMER. That shit is all in the past. You're another guy who HAD a huge match at March Madness. The keyword is HAD because apparently, you took yourself out of it. Wow, were you really that scared of me whooping your ass in this thing that you decided to back out of a TITLE match? I have no words for that, well I have one: Pussy. Giving up a title shot just to have a shot at a tournament that...you already lost in. You've already proven that you're not good enough to WIN this tournament. So what's the best-case scenario for you my guy? Sorry but you've got no shot. You should've stuck with your title match.

As far as the Elite 8 goes I'll address them next time. Because as far as I'm concerned I WILL be in the Finals so I'll be paying a lot of attention to those matches and to what everyone has to say. I for one cannot wait to run through this Second Chance Royale, and then watch the rest of you have to win multiple matches just to get to the Finals where I'll be rested, ready, and waiting to win this tournament. You guys better hope someone is able to knock me out of this royale because otherwise, you will be going up against the freshest guy on the roster who has NOTHING to lose and EVERYTHING to gain. King out...
