Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Sitting in my chair I stare at the camera. As I stare I begin to wonder are they ready? Are they ready for a story of this magnitude? More importantly is he ready? I guess he has to be now. I click on the handheld camera and begin recording.

"Hello, my name is Brian Braxton and I'm here to tell you a story. This however, is not just any story, this is the story of Jacob. You see, Jacob was a rich family man who go on to loyally served his Master. One day after a conversation with The Master it was decided that Jacob would be tested by stripping him of his wealth, house, and family."

I lean back in my chair and begin to smile.

"Of course, this is not the beginning of our story that took place only a few weeks ago. The Master would invite Jacob to lunch to discuss his new philosophy in the hopes of Jacob joining him."

The smile I had earlier disappears from my face as I begin to focus on the camera. I touch the tips of my fingers together and lean forward.

"Jacob refused, he believed that The Master was losing focus and that he was a danger to himself. This pained The Master as he thought that Jacob was his friend. By the end of they're conversation The Master realized that they weren't friends. The Master realized the he was indeed The Master and Jacob was the student, The Disciple."

I stand up and begin to pace back and forth while looking at the camera.

"From there The Master knew how to show Jacob the ways of his knew vision. He would have to witness it first hand. He would need to be broken both mentally and physically. The Master would offer him a choice 'Do you want a purpose? Or, do you want an uninspiring life?' Jacob would respond he would call him heartless, cold, and evil. The Master was evil, a necessary evil."

I look around the facility and begin to laugh.

"This brings us to our present location and it's importance to our story. This is where Jacob was truly broken, this is where he became The Disciple. The Master would go through great lengths to make sure that The Disciple's rebirth would go smoothly. But instead of me telling you I will let my guest here tell you himself.

I see Jacob, The Disciple, MY Disciple walk in front of the camera.

???: "Thank you my Master. My name is Jacob Lacey and I was wrong. I was wrong that my Master's new ideals of pain could not be true. Oh how wrong I was. I now know that pain can only drive one as far you let it. Do not fear as I did, embrace it as I embraced the pain of the fires of agony."

I approach my Disciple and place my hand on his shoulder as he preaches my new teachings to the camera.

The Disciple: I implore my Master's opponents to not make the same mistakes that I have made. Do not fear the pain that you are soon to experience, do not turn away from. Please just accept it and all that it can do for you and remember these words. There is only Pain.

I put my arm around the back of my Disciple's neck and smile. My new teachings are upon them all. I approach the camera and switch off the power. I exit the building my Disciple and head home.
