Castle Arvendon stood proud and tall, even in it's ruined state. Over the years the stones fell and crumbled, due to weather and other elements. Vegetation taken over the stone structure and made it's home round and on it's walls. While most of the castle was standing, the east wing had fallen apart but due to how it caved in, the team of archaeologist had to clear the way before they could into that part of the castle. When Arthur and his professor had arrived, the archaeologists had already been there for three days and they were ready to go in the east wing of the castle. The head of the dig site was a man named Larry Grant. He was a tall man, standing at six foot eight, had a thick dark beard, built like an NFL linebacker. A very outdoors kind of fella. He waved to Professor Whiteford as he walked up to the two. The pair shook his hand as he welcomed them.

"Ah, Professor, so glad you could make it and you too Mr.Grey. I've heard much about you."

"I hope good stuff." Arthur laughed.

"Yes very much so, it would seem you too have love for history."

"I do. We can learn a lot from our past and in doing so, we can change our future for the better. I feel so any ways."

The big bearded man smiled and nodded.

"You're right about that. Now, shall we get going, my team and I are about to go into the east wing."

The two nodded and followed. Arthur couldn't help but to be excited. The thing he could learn from the past. Arthur has read books and been to museums but all of that was second hand accounts but now he would be able to discover artifacts, be able to hold them and feel the history flowing through them from another time in Earth's very long history.

The team had entered the east wing of the castle, the room they walked into was the feasting hall. Where the King or Lord, the team didn't know who was in charge here back in the day but this was the place they would feast and have many parties, the nobles knew how to have a good time. On each side of the room were hallways that lead to the different parts of the castle. What Arthur and the other team members had to do was gather artifact and document them. So Arthur went off to do just that.

As he walked through the halls of the castle, he could feel the history flowing through the building. In his mind, Arthur could see when the castle was alive with people, from servants to royal guards, to the noble's kids running around. He could feel it all. If these walls could talk, Arthur could speak with them all day but sadly, walls don't talk.

The team had been going through the castle gathering and documenting all the artifact for hours. Professor Whiteford came and found Arthur as he was collecting stuff and putting them in plastic boxes. It was time to call it a day.

"Arthur. wrapping it up for the day, finish what you're doing and bring some of the boxes up to the entrance of the castle."

"Awww, it's time already?"

"Yes my boy, it's getting dark. Do no worry, we'll start bright and early tomorrow."

"Okay, I'll just finish up here and meet you outside."

"Good, just be careful. I don't want you tripping over something and busting your head open."

"Haha, don't worry. I won't. I'll see you soon."

Arthur finished up with what he was doing and placed the relics into the plastic boxes. He felt great about today's work and now it was time for a cigarette. Arthur leaned on the cold stone wall and placed a coffin nail between his lips and flick his lighter alive and as he was about to light the end of his cig. Arthur stopped and looked around. He could have sworn he heard someone call out his name.

"Arthur....come."

The cigarette dropped from Arthur's lips as he heard the voice again. He turned to leave but the voice was hypnotizing. He found his body moving on it's own, being drawn to the voice. Arthur didn't feel fear as they was going on, no. At the moment he was confused. Why couldn't he stop himself from following the the enchanting sound, before he knew it Arthur was standing in a hallway in front of a part of the wall. The voice once again spoke.

"Come Arthur, come to me." The soft beautiful voice said as the wall opened inwards. Inside was nothing but darkness, but what little light that shined inside. Arthur could see the start of stairs and again he was moving on his own and started to walk down the spiral staircase. He walked what seemed like for eternity but soon enough he reached the bottom and now was standing in front of a single door, he opened it and walked inside of the room. The room had candles on tables on each side of the room and in the center was an alter of sorts and laying on it was a sword.

"Arthur, claim the sword. I have chosen you to be my champion. You are the one who can set me free."

Arthur's eyes widen in disbelief. This couldn't be happening, a sword was talking to him and it wanted him to be it's champion, it's wielder. Arthur didn't know what to do.

"I..I..Why me? I'm just some bloke who want's to be a history professor."

"I chose you, for I know who you really are. Have not felt you do not belong here? That you were destined for greater things? Take hold of the sword and I will put you on the path of you destiny."

The voice was right. He had never felt like he belonged here, he had always felt like an outcast and now, right in front of him stood a path he thought he'd never walk.

"Who are you?"

"I am Etrix, Goddess of War. Now, what will you chose Arthur Grey?"

"Okay, listen up you little shit. I'm not sorry for being busy with school work. Shit happens, but yet this whole fucking time. You could have spoken up and some shit but you didn't. You waited and waited and waited. What the fuck were you doing this whole time? Let me guess. Dealing with abandonment and daddy issues. I'm facing you because I kicked Dyke's ass in 3.5 seconds and that's that. Yes a rookie is facing the oh so great Dolly Waters, the little brat who hasn't done shit and wonders why the powers that be haven't put her in the Universal title picture. Maybe, just maybe you're not who you think you are."

"You come and go from the XWF when you're bored of hanging with Shane or Vincent or whoever has to watch your ass. No one fucking cares who you are Dolly. You're not this high and mighty person. Get the fuck over yourself. You wanna talk about heart? Bitch where is yours? All I've seen from you, is your bitching over how your daddy wasn't there for you and all that shit. Cunt, I don't know who the fuck my parents are and you don't see be crying over it. Grow up and move on. You'd be doing a lot better for yourself but God damn, you're stuck in the past."

"So yes, I was late saying something. Big fucking deal. I didn't break any rules or anything of the sort. You'd think since you're the Hart champion, You'd put a lot more effort into defending it, but I get it. You think just because I'm a rookie here, I'll be an easy win. Fucking wrong. I'll tell you right now. If you think this will go your way for that reason. Bitch, you've already lost that title. As far as I see it. You have no right to be champion. You have yet to show me and the locker room why you should have the title. Step it up you little shit. I'm coming for it and it's going to be mine."
