"Perfectionism is the enemy of creation, as extreme self-solitude is the enemy of well-being." - Jason Updike

.:: Begin Transmission

(Christian): You have to be careful. Very careful. On this road we call life, it's very easy to fall into the passenger seat of the vehicle called Perfection, without realizing it's very destination, it's goal in the end, is to rob you of the very contentment that you start out to find by trying to perfect everything you do. It's a trap we all fall in. And it's a trap that all to commonly takes... No.... Prisoners.

The scene sparks to life, with Christian standing in front of a familiar looking building. Christian has a very solemn look stuck on his face, his attitude unwavering to the beautiful bright sunny day that surrounds him. His attitude, his focus, it's almost out of place. As he stares at the building, the realization sets in that he's back at the place Anna Grace brought him too a few days ago. Inside, the sound of rap music can be heard and the two men can be seen through the window, lighting up some form of a blunt, while discussing future plans. Christian wastes no time, grabbing a nearby piece of concrete and knocking it into the new found pad lock that was placed on the side door they went through earlier.

As he does, he kicks the door open but the two inside are completely unaware, the rap music remaining all encompassing. He turns away from the stairs in the stairwell and turns his attention to the door leading into the first story offices. He opens the door, catching both men by surprise. They jump to their feet, their eyes glancing at the pistols that are sitting next to the case of beer, behind Christian. Realizing they didn't have a chance at reaching them, they laugh trying to show no fear. One of them steps up to Christian, clearing his voice and readying himself to speak.

However, Christian has no desire to discuss anything with them or have any long winded conversation. He grabs the guys head and slams it into the nearby table, using a stapler on the end of it as a weapon, knocking it into the guys head. He then forces the stapler open, but the other guy charges at him, knocking the stapler out of his hand. Christian however absorbs the impact of the punch, turning to him and grabbing him by the throat. He launches the guy with a choke toss right through the big glass window and to the outside. He then turns his attention back to the guy, noticing he was the one that put the gun to his head from earlier.

Christian grabs him off of the table, and drags him over to the dry wall standing almost perfectly positioned in the middle of the office space. Christian lifts him up, showing his strength, and tosses him forward as he crashes through the dry wall, not moving as he lands hard on the other side. Christian looks at both men, his breath steadying now.

(Christian): Never threaten my friend.

Christian's phone suddenly starts going off, ill-timed to the scenario. He takes a step forward and ducks under the broken glass, stepping over the man's body that he threw earlier through that glass, and starts walking away nonchalantly. He slides over on the phone and answers it.

(J): Hey man it's Jason! Listen, I was going over everything like you asked me too and I really have some stuff I think you'd like to see. I know you have an errand to run, how's that going by the way?

Christian pauses in mid walk, turning around and seeing the two bodies left there, then chuckles. He turns back and continues to walk away before responding to his trainer, Jason.

(Christian): It went well, just had to take out some trash before I could get anything else done. What's up?

(Jason): Well, remember how you asked me to find out information on his dad? Well I have some stuff you're going to love to hear about. Also, I watched Hart's promo a couple times over again, and I think I figured out how he's planning on beating you!

Christian already has the answer, he's heard it a thousand times in his own head as he's been mentally and physically game planning. He's told himself exactly how he's going to lose this match, and walked him through the multiple steps to losing so many times, he's forgotten if he's Christian or Jackson in this match! However, Christian has to be thorough. He has to be precise. He knows Jackson will be... Wait, did I give it away?

(Jason): So check this out, I think he is going to try and run you around, get you tired, and then beat you with his youth!

(Christian): Sounds like a good game plan, but he's fresh onto the scene. He isn't partnered up with anyone who has been wrestling for a while to give him that type of experience. He wouldn't know how to do that Jason. However, like you, I've watched and studied his promos as well. If you looked, he talked about how he was able to overcome the odds of coming on to new scenes by simply, and excuse the pun, His Hart.

Jason laughs on the other end of the phone, although Christian isn't sure if it's at the pun, the plan, or both. Christian at this point sees his Uber waiting, and motions for the Uber to pull around to the front to be a little closer so Christian could walk up there and slide in. As the car pulls around, Jason responds on the phone.

(Jason): That's ridiculous! There's no amount of heart that can take a Soul Stealer and kick out! There's no amount of endurance or training even, that can prepare someone to step into the ring with you! Which reminds me, CONGRATULATIONS! Dude, that triple threat match was...

(Christian): It was Wednesday. It was yesterday. It was ANY day other than Today. Other than tomorrow. Other than what's in front of me. I can't focus on that, and thanks but no thanks. I'm not into this for wins and losses, or for titles even. You should know that better than anyone Jason. I'm here to prove a point, to teach a lesson. Listen, I'll see you in fifteen.

Christian hangs up the phone, smiling at the guy pulling up the car right in front of where Christian is standing. He opens the back door and slides in, throwing his phone in his pocket. He motions for the driver that he's good to go, and closes the back passenger side door for the car to start moving as the scene fades out.

15 Minutes (ish) Later....

Christian steps out into the parking lot of the training arena. With all the money that the three of them made, Christian is still stunned that Jason put so much of it into his arena. But to each their own, right? Christian walked through the front, where he is surprised to see a receptionist standing, greeting Christian.

(Receptionist): Well hello there! May I help you?

Christian opens his mouth to speak but he's interrupted by Jason, who appears from around the corner. Laughing, he barges out of the back room and opens his arms like he's going to hug Christian, before shooting in like he's aiming for a take down. However he stops just short of Christian and pauses, popping back up to an upright position and grabbing Christian's hand, pulling him in for a hug.

(Jason): Don't be silly Linda, this is Christian! The man, with the plan, the real deal steal of a friend, and one of the greatest men I know! Linda, I'm just absolutely shocked you wouldn't know who this was!

Jason doesn't even shoot a glance to "Linda" the receptionist the whole time he's talking. Before any other conversation can be made, he pushes Christian playfully and nods with his head, motioning for Christian to follow him. Christian walks around the corner following Jason, up the stairs and through a long corridor, before finally coming to a big room, the most noticeable thing being the obvious ring planted right in the middle of it.

(Christian): Well, I like what you did with the place?

Jason laughs, waving his hand forward like he was presenting a nomination at an award show. He walks over to the ring and slides in, bouncing up and down as if to show the flexibility of the mat. After taking a bump and slamming onto the ground, he hops back to his feet and starts walking over to the side of the ring where Christian stands, watching and inquisitively staring.

(Christian): If I'm going to beat him, again, it's going to be by making sure I don't defeat myself. I've watched him, and he assumes that he's Gods gift to man kind. In the few areas he's explored in this life, he's happened to stumble upon success and because of that, he believes that he can do anything, accomplish anything. And although he's not completely wrong, he is wrong if he believes he's stepping into the ring where the numbers that matter aren't casino odds or participation points, but rather experience. You see, Wrestling is dangerous when you know what you're doing...

Christian walks up to the ring, and slides his hand over it. He laughs, thinking back to his younger years when he was as young and naive as Jackson Hart appears to be. Christian stops sliding his hand over the mat, backs up, and then slides in, making himself flat as his body glides effortlessly along the mat, before pushing himself up and onto his feet. He stares at Jason, who listens intently.

(Christian): When you don't know what you're doing? Wrestling at that point isn't just dangerous.... It's deadly. Jackson is playing a deadly game of cat and mouse, and he may very well be gravely mistaken if he is to believe he's the cat.

Jason smiles, the intent, focus, and purpose being revealed through Christian's word choice and vocal tones bring chills to his body. He remembers seeing Christian this focused in the past, and the things that this man accomplished but he has to wonder. Have the years done anything? Could he really accomplish the things that he did in his younger years? Jason is careful with his response, making sure not to show any signs of doubt to Christian.

(Jason): Absolutely. I watched your match probably 100 times man, and I saw you systematically and promptly destroy Calum and Calib. Actually, I heard a rumor going around when I was backstage at the XWF Arena, that Calib refused to wrestle on the next few shows. They aren't sure if he's even going to be returning after all that talk about how good he was, only to get showed up by you! Calum however, poor guy, he's got to be in some trouble now.

(Christian): You're wrong Jason. I didn't dominate that match with might or skill, and I wasn't there to "destroy" them. I simply came, and I saw.... and I conquered. I played Chess with them, and I was one step ahead every time. In fact, I was playing it so well, I think they were stuck on Checkers. However this Jackson guy, he seems to have a passion for succeeding, a heart for this that I rarely see in others. I won't make the mistake of taking him lightly, or underestimating him. I just hope he shows me the same favor, it'll be a shame to win this match easily because he came in being consumed in his head with that pride of his, rather than coming in with a clear mind ready to take what's inevitably coming for him.

Christian and Jason both turn as the door opens up giving way to a flash of light from the outside hallway. They both struggle to see who's walking in, before smiling and giving him a big greeting. Nick, Christian and Jason's friend, walks into the facility with his arms opened wide, taunting both of them. Nick then charges into the ring, slides in, and jumps to his feet. Nick is obviously nowhere near Christian's age, and his youth shines as he shows his athleticism with that leap, almost clearing the top rope.

(Nick): Miss me, losers?

(Jason): If only. Although now that you're here... Let's begin!

Jason slides out of the ring immediately, and as he slides out the back he dings a bell that was unseen to the eye just moments ago. He laughs, and shrugs his shoulders as Christian looks at him. Jason wanted to go all in, and make it as real as possible, so he even got a ring bell. Christian looks to Nick, and for the next few moments, Christian worked on reversing some of Nick's new moves he learned, mimicking Jackson Hart. Nick tried the "On Tilt", a twisting springboard tornado DDT from the top rope but Christian easily reverses that into a standing suplex, showing his incredible strength by stopping Nick's momentum in his tracks.

(Jason): Not so hard Christian! Nick, Hart Breaker!

Nick shoots back to his feet, bouncing his way with a handspring forward to the ropes, but before he could even bounce back, Christian has darted forward shoulder tackling the back of Nick's head, nailing Nick to the ground. What you wouldn't know from watching this, is that Nick himself used to wrestle. That's how he found Christian actually. Nick was a World Champion at an old promotion that Christian used to frequent before his sabbatical from wrestling. Nick came years after Christian but heard of his wonder years and felt it necessary to search him out.

(Jason): Christian!!!! Damnitt. Finish him Nick with a Royal Flush!

Nick kicks Christian in the gut, lifting him up for a powerbomb attempt. However, Christian easily rolls out of it and uses his body to reverse the momentum, landing on his feet and flipping Nick forward onto his back. Christian uses his strength to pick him up, upside down, off the mat and has him perfectly in a Piledriver position. Nick calls out quick, trying to get Christian's attention, as Jason slides into the ring to potentially save his friend's life.

(Christian): Relax... I'm not going to plant him. But let this be a warning to Mr.. Hart. He's going to need to change up his game plan if he's going to step into the ring with me. He posed a question to me in his promo, now let me pose a question back. How do you defeat a man, that knows every step you're going to take already, when you've never even began to place one foot in front of the other yet. I don't just know you and your moves Jackson, I know your heart. And that's one thing you can't deceive, one thing you can't... Lose Hart over. Jackson, you said it was an origin story that you shared with us an I agree. Don't come without everything you have though, I warn you again. If you do, you'll have an ending to that story a lot quicker than I believe you had planned. Don't let Saturday Night Savage be... The end.

Jason ushes Nick back to his feet after Christian lets go and Nick drops down. He then pushes both men back together, and starts commanding stuff again, continuing their training as the scene fades out.
