User tagging has been enabled on the boards! Let's try a few random names right here, starting with @Angelus @Scorpio @Mezian @Finn Kühn @erikblack and @Peter Fn Gilmour!

The way to tag a user is to put their EXACT username in brackets with @ in front. So if I were allowed to tag myself, it would look like @[Shane

]

The username is case sensitive.

When you tag somebody, they will receive a PM directing them to the post.

This will probably be most useful for OOC posts and smaller IC posts like News or Challenges. You can use it in RPs too, but try not to abuse it and annoy people.

If you want to adjust your settings to stop people from being able to tag you, or to make it so only those on your friend list can tag you, the option is in your User CP about midway down the links on the left hand side where it says Tags.

If you have a user tagged in a post that you edit, the board is supposed to be smart enough to NOT keep sending the same person a PM again and again, but I think it might glitch sometimes and re-send the PM. If you add a new tagged person into your edit, it's supposed to be smart enough to send that new person a PM too after you save the edit. Let me know if you guys notice anything different.
