Chris was panting and wincing in the back, Jenny in tow. When he finally gets his bearings he notices her behind him.

"What the hell were you doing out there?"

She looked a bit taken aback. She had come down the ramp when he went through the ring, and they had exited together. But, due to the intensity of his match and ever-increasing dizzyness from a likely concussion, he hadn't really paid much attention until now.

"I wanted to make sure you were okay!"

"That isn't your responsibility anymore!"

She looked as though she was about to cry, but held it together marvelously.

"We aren't together. You aren't my teammate, you aren't my valet, you aren't anything. You have bigger issues to worry about than getting involved in my affairs."

"I can't be a decent human being and check on you? You went through the ring, Chris. You could have died!"

He took a minute, wincing again and holding his ribs....

"Next time......" deep breaths.... "let me die."

She had watery eyes as he walked away off screen
