With the deadlline having come to pass on the final August show, I figured it's time to wonder who might be the August SoTM.

Me personally, am going to have to vote Lux Lyden. Amazing RPs, no doubt, a solid all- rounder, and has been dominate this past month, even getting a surprise draw against Trax.

I'm going to vote Fontanna. Though he hasn't won as much as Lux has, he has improved dramatically, and this recent RP excluded, he's done phenomenal work. Even being the one to not get pinned in his tag match with Peter.

The clear answer for me is Lux, great RPs definitely one of the most well rounded RPers on the boards as he proved in our match. I've also had fun RPing against him for two consecutive weeks.

Well, your reasons are valid, and I can't think of a reason he hasn't earned it, I feel Fontanna needs some recognition for improving as much as he has.

I've been watching from the shadows I suppose you could say for some time now and agree with both names mentioned: Lux Lyden as SotM with Fontanna deserving honorable mention, and I won't be surprised when he takes SotM within the next few months. I thoroughly believe improvement needs recognition and the rate in which Fontanna has improved if you look back at his older work is alarming in the most fantastic way possible. He's like the Jeffersons; movin' on up!

Lyden on the other hand has in a very short time solidified his spot on the XWF's totem pole and it's already a considerably high spot with no signs of slipping anytime soon. His stories are intriguing and refreshing as his character develops at just the right speed from week to week, and his trash talk is consistently on point as he's a little more likely to catch someone slipping and expose it without the need for too many extraneous insults -- differently a far cry from my own style because I love getting stupid with the trigger happy, sometimes juvenile badgering but his character's outlook is perfect for maintaining a more professional or almost legal sounding method of retort.

Another name in need of recognition is Robbie Bourbon who has been proving he has that never say die attitude and has been staying fresh despite a couple setbacks that a lot of people would have had a big problem with.

I forgot about that Mav, haven't done this in forever, I have found it very enjoyable to read Game's work and I don't feel there was anything less then amazing when it came to the rps made by him, so I am going to keep my vote as valid now

I'd give the nod to Trax, but you can't get it every month.

Lux Lyden, who literally blew me away with his efforts in just the tag match. His storytelling strengths are right up there with GG and Lane, and I haven't gotten enough of the character.

Hon. Mention to Fontanna, who has elevated his game by being a student of the XWF.

Seriously. Hear me out. The dude has had a good outing since his return to full-time-ish roleplaying and has had a ton of success. Double Champ, even if one of the titles is moot. Great writing, great attitude, as always he's the butt of one of the main jokes in the fed but keeps taking it on the chin like a pro and using it in his character work.

Maverick earned it.

Honorable mention, as always, goes to Darren Dangerous.

I'm voting Vinnie. In character he won the title in August and defended it. Even if it was a sham defense. Plus, it's been fun competing against him again.

My vote goes towards Game Girl. The tag match we had was some of the most fun I've had here. Her skill to connect with the reader and keep you entertained from the first word to the last sentence is spot on!
