En route to his first pay per view event, C.C. Hollywood mostly what he really wanted the whole time: the opportunity to steal the show and put the entire X-Treme Wrestling Federation roster on notice in facing his first true rival, Simon Lyster. Without a doubt in his mind, Hollywood knew that before the battle royal on Monday Night Madness even took place, everything would come down to he and Lyster. It, as cliché as it sounds, was a certain destiny. Leading up to the battle royal, the only other participant that Hollywood thought respectfully of was Jill Lorder. Even at that, C.C. prepared for his ultimate showdown with Simon Lyster since the moment his name was listed on the card. Or, at least the story goes.

"He's stiff in the neck, but it isn't serious enough to keep him out of action. I would be careful as far as a training schedule is concerned heading into Turning Point. A stiff neck and a torqued back means little mobility in that ring."

"I know exactly what can get him back to feeling normal in time for Turning Point. You know too, doc. Ask him for the green card, C.C."

"Green card? Sir, you said you were close friends with Mr. Hollywood, correct? Don't you know he is already a U.S. citizen?"

"Um, yeah."

The doctor, checking on the neck and lower back of Hollywood, asks a few more questions.

"Sir, you are a U.S. citizen, yes?"

"Yes, I'm from Manyuk, Pennsylvania. I don't need a visa."

"He's as American as 'American Express,' bud."

Both the doctor and C.C. look over at Joey Bagadonuts. The doctor has an unimpressed look on his face, but Hollywood cracks a smile.

"The green card he is talking about is that medical marijuana card. Strap up with one of those bad boys and I'll self medicate myself back to performing shape come Turning Point."

The doctor looks at Hollywood, very seriously, and responds.

"Not only am I not the doctor to see about that, but that is in violation of the X-Treme Wrestling Federation wellness policy."

"Then I will see my way out."

"But, I have not medically cleared you to wrestle at Turning Point."

Not turning around to acknowledge the doctor, Hollywood responds...

"Good day, sir!"

Joey and C.C. are walking side by side out to their Jeep Grand Cherokee that they use to travel from city to city to perform.

"I got you, buddy."

"Good, because I never signed that wellness policy."

Hollywood gets in the driver's seat of the Jeep and Joey is in the passengers seat. There is some time to wait before Turning Point, so Hollywood has the luxury of being in rough shape, yet driving a short trip back to the airport hotel to rest before a travel day back home to Manyuk, Pennsylvania. Since C.C. has started wrestling for the X-Treme Wrestling Federation, he has not been back home in Manyuk. His time back home will be long overdue. Everywhere else, Hollywood is just another professional wrestler who has still yet to be pinned or tap out. Back at home, Hollywood is more important, but in a different way. Hollywood is not a professional wrestler to his comrades. He is just plain ol' C.C. from Manyuk with his lifelong friend, Joey. Together they get stoned and hit the town for a night out, but now, all of Philadelphia knows who they are.

"Ready to go back home for a couple days?"

"Hell yeah! When we get back, there are gonna' be so many broads. I won't know which way is left and which way is right!"

"Joey, you already don't know which way is left and which way is right, but that's why you are my manager and not my right hand man."

"Fuck off, C.C. You jerk off with your right hand, so I wouldn't want to be your 'right hand man' anyway."

Hollywood answers back while laughing.

"Is that what Robo-Jolie was telling you after you asked TJ Wallace about his wet dreams? Boy, I'll slap you with my right hand and leave hot ropes across your cheek."

It's quite easy for Joey to get real excited for a little bit of fame when he heads back home from being on the road for so long. Being the kind of guy that he is, Joey will basically hook up with any girl that comes his way. He is very much a "play with the cards you've been dealt" or "first come, first serve" kind of guy. How can someone blame him? It's not a mystery that with society in this day and age, fame is the pussy magnet for any and all people. Whether it is actual fame, like being a professional athlete or fifteen minutes of fame, such as striking gold on a YouTube video, the world is at our fingertips. Joey is just pressing the buttons.

"Whatever, man. What are you looking forward to when you get back home?"

"Some damn quiet time. A simple couple of days. You know, an edible, checking back in with a few other friends, and a roast beef with gravy from Nick's. Who knows, might even catch a Flyers game if I got the time."

"Dude! I need a roast beef. I've been jonesin' for one of those."

"There is nothing like home."

C.C. has always been someone who has a lot of pride for which he comes from. Not just the city of which he was raised, but of how he was raised too. This is a testament to exactly why he finds a great enemy in Simon Lyster. As proven at Monday Night Madness at the conclusion of the battle royal, Lyster wanted to end Hollywood before an ending to Monday could even pass by. Though, it seemed like he was down and not ready to make an arrival at Turning Point, C.C. is not being counted out by anyone. Joey, who knows Hollywood the best, never doubted for a second whether he would be ready to face Lyster at Turning Point. It's just a matter of how. Everyone knows when, who, what, and where, but for Hollywood, it is just a matter of how.

"Joey, you got my back all the time, which is why you are my go to. The best part about all of this is that before anyone even enters that building for the start of Turning Point, you have some idea of what monster I will have become when the time comes to face a man who tried to end me before I got started. Very few people expected me to put up a battle with Simon in our battle royal, but I changed everyone's mind. I led by example."

"Bare witness."

Still driving back to the hotel, Hollywood continues on...

"My old man taught me a very important lesson when I was young. That lesson was simply that no matter how good you think you are, there is always someone better than you. There is always someone out there to humble you. I can truly say that since I have made my debut, I have yet to be impressed by someone who I think can be better than me. Yes, that even includes Simon Lyster."

"Your old man would have no reason to lie."

"Eventhough I was bent, I am not broken. See, if you really thought you were better than me, Simon, you wouldn't have tried so hard to get an advantage to take the easy way out and injure your opponent. You failed at that. I would have at least succeeded in putting you out of action. I see right through your disguise and you are scared. Ladies and gentlemen of the grand jury, Simon Lyster is afraid."

"Guilty."

As he turns into the parking lot of the airport, Joey goes into the glove box of the Jeep and pulls out a Felix The Cat bowl, a quarter of a bag of marijuana, and a Philadelphia Phillies lighter. Hollywood enters the parking garage.

"You had mostly everyone fooled, Simon. You talked a strong game. Strong like bull. Then, I remembered my old man's dying wish. That was to call out anyone who just talked a strong game. Now, Simon, you just smell like bull. Your forced congratulations are just that, in the fact that they mean nothing. See, the last person you disposed of was Duncan B. Deadly. Let's just say that I showed everyone real quick what the difference is between Duncan B. Deadly and I. Especially you, Lyster."

"You have something to prove."

"That, Joey, is where the misconception starts. I don't have anything to prove. In fact, Simon has everything to prove. He says that I will break like the rest, but yet here I stand. Dare I already label him a fraud? No, no, I wouldn't want to underestimate him. Hell, he already did that to me and I am right back in the limelight. At first glance, Lyster believes that he already has me where he wants me. A submission match at Turning Point. He says he is a submission specialist, which is great. I can work with that playbook too. What you don't know is what will hurt you in the end. If I have it my way, Simon, it will hurt the both of us. That is what I am willing to do just to live the pure satisfaction of being the guy from Manyuk to make you tap out at your own game. If I have to hurt myself to hurt you, sign me up."

"Then what?"

There is a pause as Hollywood parks the Jeep at the top of the parking garage, secluded away from most other cars, which creates a good smoking spot for he and Joey before they go inside the hotel and rest up.

"When this cat and his nine lives run out, the festivities begin. You think I have the opportunity as a man facing a shark in open water. You know nothing of me. I am the guy who dives in the waves to challenge Jaws, then I live to tell about it. The way I see it, your "Paralyzer" did everything but it's one job. Yeah, it beat me up. Yeah, I'm here talking about it. Nothing more than a clothesline at the end of the day. I promise you, the credits will roll on the story of your career. I'm finishing what you started and breaking your neck."

"Snap. Crack. Pop."

Joey has the bowl packed up with what is left of "La Curandera" and has the lighter in hand as well, getting the ritual ready to go before the night is over.

"It's one thing to break a gimp. They're basically already broken. You aren't impressing anyone yet again. Like the winter of '05, you will be howling with coal eyes to be heard for miles. Distractions? See how locked and keyed in I am at Turning Point, locksmith. Fiction is a flattering art, but that doesn't flatter me when you finally find your identity with my words."

The spark of the lighter is heard as Joey lights the bowl, taking the first hit of the fresh "La Curandera." He then passes the bowl over to Hollywood as he takes his hit. The medication commences as Turning Point is in the near future. One thing is as sure as death and taxes: Hollywood is ready for Simon Lyster. The rivalry starts here.
