Finally.

Finally LH Harrison has moved past the grief set in place by his mother’s death. LH Harrison is free from feeling as though he was the cause of his mother’s demise. LH Harrison can move on from the tragic incident and get on with his life. His wife had returned to him, his dad was finally placing the pieces together on his own life, and he was back home with his children once more. He is free to continue his mission to eradicate the Madness brand of injustice and forces of inequity. Harrison is finally free to do the one thing he’s been unable to do in recent weeks…

Inspire.

The curtains unravel on this stage as all the world’s a stage. The stage in this particular moment is the comfortable, warm household in which our fearless hero, LH Harrison, resides. The warm and spacious living room of the house is shown with the TV on connected to a PS3. Two video game controllers are sitting on the arms of the recliners in the corner furthest away from the television.

And all the men and women merely players. Viktor and LH’s brother, Franky, appear in the chairs and lift the controllers. The game clicks to life and the two begin battling and brawling in the game upon the screen. They jeer and taunt as the game progresses. Viktor will win one and then Franky will counter the score with a victory for himself. The game winds down to the final match. With a sliver of health remaining in his character, Franky hits a devastating move claiming the deciding match as his own. Franky lifts to a standing position with his arms in the air. “VICTORY FOREVER!” the young man proclaims in jubilee. The boisterous clamor brings the match to the attention of the Inspirational One.

They have their exits and their entrances. The Cleanser enters the room with a curious glance. His eyes scan the screen seeing the brutality of the replays unfolding. He turns his attention to his brother and follower and raises a brow in intrigue. They wave him on as the games begin once more. LH receives the controller of Franky who glances at his watch and heads for the door. He waves his farewells and exits the scene. LH looks at the controller with intrigue and confusion dashed across his face. He lacks experience in the world of gaming. Viktor quickly goes over the dynamics of how the game is played. He presses the start button and the character selection screen appears before them.

And one man in his time plays many parts. LH navigates through the characters unsure of just who he should pick. Should he go with an arrogant actor, a voluptuous woman, or a god with incredible powers? To Harrison, the choice seemed easy enough. He chose the Thunder God and proceeded into the battle. In three quick rounds, the Thunder God had barely laid an ounce of damage upon his follower’s character, an ice-wielding fiend. They return to the screen and LH decides to pick the arrogant actor, who was claimed by Viktor to be one of the better personae. The result, unlike the character, didn’t change. Back again to the menu and LH chooses a reptilian creature to combat Viktor’s choice. Once more, the results hardly changed with the exception of LH managing to do a smidgen more damage to Viktor’s character. The game continuously went on until the wee hours of the night. At a strike past midnight, Viktor fades into a deep slumber in the recliner. His rotund abdomen takes deep breaths as the tiny roars escape through his throat. The Inspirational One barely keeps his lids aloft. He looks upon the television screen.

His acts being seven stages. Harrison glances upon the screen as he finalizes a fight against the A.I. His lips turn into a smile as the screen displays the outcome he had desired the entire night… LH Harrison wins. Wait… no it’s supposed to say the character that LH is playing as. But… LH falls back on the couch absolutely exhausted thinking of the only thing he’d spent his night doing…
