Age 16

We know that Mastermind is known as M in his early years. He's sitting looking out into the ocean from his vantage point. As we first learnt he lost his mother at an early age, and because his father had to work in order to bring money in to the home, he was hardly around, therefore because he was left alone, he became angry, and fought many fights. It all came to a head when enough was enough and at age 14 he was threatened with expulson, and threatened with being sent to boarding school by his own father. He was saved by a Wrestling Coach called Mr. Tommy Clarkeson. Who wanted him to work with him. But his own father sent M to live with Mr. Clarkeson.

We also found out that Mr Clarkeson was now teaching 'M' some vital lessons to do with Wrestling and life as well. His first lesson he learnt was Discipline. For all they tried, Clarkeson and the captain of the Wrestling Club, George kept trying to break 'M' But 'M' just stood his ground.

Continuation.

Age 14:

Two Days Later. 'M' walked back into the school gym where George, the captain of the school wrestling team was, and three others. They were discussing something. 'M' walks up to them.

"Hey guys,"

George looked at his friends:

GEORGE: "Hey team, meet 'M' he's our newest member. 'M' this is Rodwell, Baxter and Currie."

"Hey guys."

They all raised their eyebrows at him. That was the custom thing to do with youth in New Zealand.

CURRIE: "Sup?"

"I like the name Currie, it's cool."

CURRIE: "That's cool dude. It's a nick name, I'm always eating curry. Curry for breakfast, lunch and tea."

"Wow, don't you get sick of it?"

CURRIE: "Na, dude."

A whistle blew. Tommy Clarkeson, the wrestling coach, walked up to the group.

TOMMY: "Good, everyone's here. Well 'M' two days ago you learnt you're first lesson which Discipline. Now we're onto the second lesson. Can anybody tell me, in order to have Discipline to survive in your matches, what else is a key ingredient?"

CURRIE: "I know, dude."

TOMMY: "Of course you should know Currie, I taught it to you. Go ahead?"

CURRIE: "Stamina, because in short matches you are okay, but in long matches if you haven't got stamina, and your opponent does, then he wins every time."

TOMMY: "Very good Currie. So 'M' we all know you have the discipline, now, but have you got the stamina to go toe to toe with your opponents?"

"I keep on getting up and not reacting don't I, of course I have stamina."

GEORGE: "Wrong answer."

'M' looked around at the group who were shaking their heads.

"What do you mean?"

GEORGE: "You have an answer for everything, you don't need an answer for everything. The correct response to Coach Clarkeson's response was 'No Sir, or 'Yes sir' big difference."

TOMMY: "It's okay George, 'M' here is learning the ropes. He'll get it. But now you all have to do 50 laps of this gym starting now."

George, Rodwell, Baxter and Currie took off, they started running around the gym. 'M' stood his ground.

"I don't see a point to this, this isn't wrestling."

TOMMY: "And because you don't see the point 'M' I'll add another 50 laps onto your target. Shut up and start running."

"Do I have to do 100 laps?"

TOMMY: "You're not running. That's now 150.."

'M' had no choice but to shut up, and start running. The time he finished 150 laps he was buggered. George, Rodwell, Baxter, and Currie were waiting for him. Tommy Clarkeson was no where to be seen.

"Where's Mr Clarkeson?"

GEORGE: "Gone home man. Here's a pointer. Every time you talk back, you get 50 laps more. The lesson here is obvious, make sure you get it. In order of to have Stamina you need to be fit, but you also need to show respect for your opponent. You have neither, so it'll cost us wrestling practice."

CURRIE: "Yeah Dude, if you don't conform, this'll get old real quick, and we'll walk."

It was then that 'M' saw the bigger picture. In order to have guidance you need to show respect. You need to have stamina in order to survive, not just in the wrestling business, but in the real world as well. The moment you don't show respect to anyone, is the moment that you don't get anywhere

So the two key words he so far learnt were:

Guidance and Respect.
