AND NOW...
IT'S TIME FOR...

[Image: shoveitterminalvelocitytitle_zpsc77b3de5.png]

The scene shifts and pyro explodes along the titantron of tonight's event, at all angles and in every shade of red imaginable. The deafening pyro is, however, easily overpowered by the screams and cheers of the probably already drunken Manchester crowd.

[Image: Manchester_Arena_concert,_November_2012.jpg]

The pyro ends and the camera begins to scan around the arena, with the fans violently waving their signs/replica titles/children at the screen to get even the slightest sliver of acknowledgement, as the commentary team of Jim Ross and Tazz begin to speak over the piercing roar of the crowd.

JIM ROSS: "We welcome you live to the sold out Phones 4u Arena here in Manchester England for Shove-It: Terminal Velocity!!"

The ringbell tolls and the camera switches to view the ring, where Smoke stands once again with microphone in hand.

SMOKE: "Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the Terminal Velocity battle royal!!"

The crowd cheer once more.

SMOKE: "The rules of this contest are a little complicated, so do try and keep up.

"The first two entrants will enter the battle royal. Every so often, a new competitor will join them, and so on and so forth until all competitors have entered. Since this match is elimination style, the winner will be the last man standing.

"Here's the twist: the mode in which you eliminate your opponents will change every so often - with every fourth entrant to be exact. Before said entrant will make their way down to the ring, a random selector will appear on the screen to select the next match-type, which will be how you will eliminate any and all opponents until the next match-type is selected.

"When the final entrant enters, the last match-type will remain. Only one thing is certain; the final two competitors must attempt to climb to the grand prize: the 24/7 Briefcase, in order to win the match... and the briefcase itself.

"Geddit? Gottit? Good. Let's begin. Bring up the random selector so we can see what the match-type we shall begin with is."

Just like that, the lights in the arena blacken, and a sleek silver roulette wheel appears, suddenly beginning to spin rapidly. It takes a couple of seconds to stop on...

Pinfalls & Submissions

The lights lift once more, and music begins to blast out of the PA system.

Charlotte Dyson, enters the stage and begins to walk down the ramp.

JIM ROSS: "Charlotte Dyson is the first entrant for tonight's contest, following her earlier loss against SwagMire Swaggins. For that, SwagMire will be the one who gets to enter last tonight."

TAZZ: "Oof, she's got some serious work to do if she wants to walk away with that briefcase tonight."

JIM ROSS: "You're right, Tazz, but you never know, that could very well depend on who her first opponent is..."

Slipping into the ring, Charlotte turns and faces the stage, ready to begin this battle royal with whoever steps out of that curtain.

The lights in the arena black out and purple pyro ignites the stage. As the smoke settles, the X-Treme Champion; Enigma makes his way out of the curtain and onto the stage, seemingly admiring the sea of boos around him.

JIM ROSS: "OH BAH GAWD!!"

TAZZ: "The X-Treme Champion!! I can't believe he's only the second entrant!! What a start!!"

JIM ROSS: "The man who had only three days ago won the X-Treme Championship is the second entrant in tonight's battle royal! Every step he has taken has sent shockwaves through the XWF, and I doubt it'll be any different tonight!"

The masked man begins to slowly march his way to the ring, climbing the steps and easing himself between the ropes. He stands there facing(?) Charlotte Dyson as the lights lift back up, the music fades, and the bell rings to begin the match!

1. Charlotte Dyson
2. Enigma

Charlotte begins to take some tentative steps around the ring, apparently somewhat wary of the opponent that stands in front of her - as she should be. With Enigma's reflective mask, it's impossible to get any feel for this mysterious opponent, and that may prove effective for tonight.

Charlotte decides to try and get things going with a low kick aiming for Enigma's left calf. Enigma is able to literally step over it, however, and connects a forearm to Dyson's skull, which causes it to bend back wildly and she collapses on the ground.

Enigma decides to get right into it and grabs at Charlotte's ankle, lifting it up to bend it and contort it at odd angles. With the Ankle Lock in place, Dyson can't help but scream out a cry of pain as she finds herself dead-centre in the ring with no ropes to reach for. With her free leg, Dyson tries to kick out at Enigma's shin, but while it does contact, it seems to do little of anything.

However, she musters up her strength and flips over quickly, throwing Enigma against the ropes. She rolls out into a standing position, trying to carry forward her momentum, but as she hops to her feet, she is met with the insane clothesline that Enigma comes to call 'The Big Reveal'. The impact is so intense that the crowd are the ones to yell out in pain, where the silenced Charlotte could not.

TAZZ: "Wow."

JIM ROSS: "And Enigma connects just a devastating clothesline to his current opponent. It would be a miracle for her to recover from that!"

Turning the downed Charlotte over, Enigma places her in his 'Great Mystery' submission. She is out cold, and she doesn't even give the slightest reaction. The ref begins to test her conscienceness by lifting her arm...

He lets go, it falls to the mat for the first time.

He tries it again, and it thumps down onto the mat for the second time. Once more and she's eliminated.

The ref lifts it once more...

And he lets go...

And it lands on the mat one last time, Charlotte has been eliminated! The screen begins to display a countdown, to which the crowd chant along:

5!

4!

3!

2!

1!!

The buzzer sounds...

The beautiful piano playing can only mean one thing... Guppy Parsh is our third entrant! He runs down to the ring, but screeches to a halt, checking that no bullying of any kind is going on in the ring. Spotting Charlotte's collapsed body on the mat alongside Enigma, Guppy becomes visibly angry at the thought of Enigma bullying Dyson, slips through the ropes and charges at Enigma!

2. Enigma
3. Guppy Parsh

Enigma is caught off-guard by the sudden charge of the doctor and is punished on the other end of a devastating spear. Guppy begins to absolutely unload onto his masked opponent, unpredictably and masterfully punching him left right and centre.

With his strength, however, Enigma launches Guppy off, sending him flying back across the ring and landing on his back with a thud. Guppy rolls back over onto his feet, however, and both of them launch at each other and into the collar-and-elbow tie-up.

Despite the rage that is clearly coursing through Guppy's body, his frame is still that of a frail and weak person, so he is easily overcome with a kick to the stomach and a DDT to firmly plant him on the floor. Enigma wastes no time going for the cover.

--Kickout at 2!

Enigma quickly picks up Guppy and throws him into the ropes, laying down punch after punch into the good doctor's abdomen, before quickly and effectively whipping him across the ring at such force that Guppy collapses to the mat upon impact with the turnbuckles on the other end.

With a blank reflection of emotions, Enigma slowly paces over to the other side of the ring methodical-like. Grabbing Parsh by the hair, Enigma slowly lifts the dead-weight up. Guppy musters up the courage to try punching Enigma in the stomach, but the fist falls short and doesn't effect Enigma in the slightest.

All Enigma does is laugh, lifting up Parsh and turning him around with the intent of smashing his head against the turnbuckle. He pulls his hair up...

But before the head can collide with the top turnbuckle, Guppy fights Enigma's strength and grabs onto the ropes, stopping his head, and locking the rest of his body!

Enigma was ready for this however, and immediately drops to the ground going for the roll-up. The ref drops down to count--

1...

2-- Guppy squirms out just as the ref's hand hits the mat for 2.

Both competitors lie on the mat, their intense and fast-paced battle leaving the both of them wanting breath. And luckily for them they'll get the chance as the clock begins to count down once more.

The buzzer sounds...

Michael McBride walks out of the curtain to a chorus of boos from the Manchester crowd, jogging down the ramp determinately.

JIM ROSS: "The Irish born Michael McBride! He doesn't seem to popular tonight..."

TAZZ: "Well, yeah, JR. Ain't you ever heard about the old English-Irish feud? Most of Michael's life was shaped by the IRA, and I doubt he's too happy to be in front of this English crowd tonight. As as you can hear, the feeling's mutual."

2. Enigma
3. Guppy Parsh
4. Michael McBride

McBride slides into the ring and sees both Guppy - who is now sitting in the corner trying still to catch his breath - and Enigma - who is just rising to his feet. His back up straight, Enigma walks confidently over to McBride, and they begin a stare-down.

But all you can hear is the still on-going boos and chants:

"WHERE'S YOUR GUIN-ESS!?" clap-clap-clapclapclap
"WHERE'S YOUR GUIN-ESS!?" clap-clap-clapclapclap

Michael decides he's had enough and kicks Enigma hard in the gut, causing him to bend-over. In this small window, Michael hits Enigma across the back with his forearm with enough force for Enigma to collapse onto the ground and to his knees. Here, he grabs Enigma by the helmet and smashes it down to the canvas with high impact.

Or at least the impact would be high, if Enigma didn't quickly stop himself with both of his arms. He rolls away so far that he rolls out of the ring and lands on his feet, walking around ringside with his hands on his hips, trying to recuperate.

Michael watches and waits, but that turns out to be a bad idea, as Guppy runs up from behind, grabs Michael and throws him over the top rope. The cheers that follow practically blow the roof of of the building.

Guppy turns around and begins to celebrate - apparently being confused on what the mode of elimination even is at the moment. But Guppy doesn't quite realise, going from top rope to top rope raising his hands and celebrating, ignoring the ref who is trying to inform him otherwise.

What doesn't help is that the Manchester fans are still cheering him on.

However, Guppy is met with a very sudden reality as he steps off of on of the turnbuckles, as he turns around he is blind-sided and floored by a vicious Celtic Clothesline from McBride.

JIM ROSS: "Yet another hellatious clothesline!! Will that spell the end for Guppy, as the clothesline from Enigma did for Charlotte!?"

TAZZ: "Looks like we're about to find out - McBride's going for the pin!"

And go for the pin he does as the boos continue to echo around the arena:

1...

2...

Guppy gets a foot on the nearby ropes! The ref breaks the pin!

Slamming his fists on the ground in frustration, McBride stands up and turns around again--

AND IS TAKEN DOWN WITH THE RIDDLE!

JIM ROSS: "THE RIDDLE!! ENIGMA JUST SPINE-BUSTED THE HELL OUT OF MCBRIDE OUTTA NOWHERE!!"

TAZZ: "WHAT THE HELL!?"

Enigma wastes little time dragging the struggling McBride to the centre of the ring, and setting him up in The Great Mystery!

JIM ROSS: "GREAT MYSTERY! GREAT MYSTERY!! ENIGMA'S GOING TO MAKE MCBRIDE TAP RIGHT HERE!!"

The crowd are going ballistic as McBride struggles and writhes in response to the continuous and unrelenting pain. He cries out in agony!!

McBride's hand is high in the air! Is he going to tap!? Is he going to--

GUPPY!! GUPPY JUST REBOUNDED OFF OF THE ROPES AND SPEARED THE HELL OUT OF ENIGMA! Enigma goes down, and McBride is freed from that trap, rolling safely out of the ring!

Like he had done earlier, Guppy leaps on top of Enigma and begins to barrage the X-Treme Champion with an endless amount of fists, filled with rage after watching Enigma mercilessly 'bully' McBride.

Enigma tries to block, but it's useless, he tries to throw the otherwise weak Guppy off, but that's useless too. It seems like he's stuck there...

That is, until the lights go out and the clock begins to tick once again, and the crowd chant along:

5!

4!

3!

2!

1!!
