WHEN HELL FREEZES OVER is term that pushes the impossibilities into someone's mind where there leaves doubt it will never happen. The loosely translation, or definition, of hell, whether one believes it the literal sense of what it is or not, is considered eternal fire. It's a fire that never dies out and never gets low on fuel, so-to-speak. It's forever burning and was put in place by God, or Creator of the Universe, for those who oppose the truth he speaks. It's a place no one wants to be.

When a person gets angry, often the phrase "go to hell" spills out from their lips. It's not a pleasant phrase. It wouldn't really be considered as a hate phrase. When you would think of the term hell, and what it represents according to it's existence, then it even rivals words or phrases like, "why won't you just drop dead?" Death happens. Sometimes we suffer until the point of death, but when it arrives on our doorstep it's not long before you breath your last breathe. Think of a person living a good and long life, say eighty, and they pass on. Eighty years and then death. That's small compared to what hell is. By that person, death took eighty years to come into his life. Hell is a forever constant. It always arrives, and there's no relief like there is with death.

"When hell freezes over." It doesn't seem likely, then. It's an impossible tease to minds and hearts of the hearer. When someone hears that phrase, it leaves a tingle in the ear drum because they sense there's hope for it to come about, even though it's impossible. This phrase has been said and thought throughout time in the XWF regarding many situations.

Will Unknown Soldier ever compete again? When hell freezes over.

Will the original and chaotic Sid Feder return? When hell freezes over.

Will Sebastian Duke and John Madison reunite and join together? Will Sebastian Duke and Azrael Erebus bury the hatchet? When hell freezes over... at least those are the words one would expect to say.

Sometimes it feels like the fire dies down and the temperature begins to drop. The chaotic mixture of red, orange, blue, and black bring about the existence we call fire slowly dwindles down and it's heat becomes less hurtful, and more enjoyable. It's not people being saved from a burning home anymore. The heat is now at a calm where you can lay out and get a nice tan.

The year was 2013. It was a very unique year in the XWF. People had left prior and things were beginning to change. Superstars were leaving, some being pushed out the door due to various circumstances and others leaving without a word. This led to the door being opened by many new faces and strange characters. The most unique and strangest of them all was one who was taken lightly because his phrasing was so similar to people like him.

In this world of wrestling, you get to have many characters. Some are fake and try to become someone they are not, and others prove they really are who they say they are.

Take a look at the blonde psycho people loved and hated at the same time: The Original Sid Feder. Some came before him with the same intense passion. Some spoke the same and had a similarity about them when they would start a war. They carried themselves so similar, but then there's that slightly ever small difference that shows up. It displays the truth, which is that they are different. Many have come before and many will come after, but there will only be one 'original' blonde psycho Sid Feder. Someone may come back looking like him, but there's one and that's where the uniqueness is.

Possibly the most called out man in this company with so many similarities as ones before and after is: Eli James. Once coming on the scene he was like the other preachers and messiahs. He tried to spook people about judgment. He killed people because they were living in sin and refused to repent. He preached about transformation, forgiveness, mercy, and truth. He was just like the others before him who tried this character out. But much like Sid had proven he was unique and no one, no matter how carbon copy they were, there was only one. Eli outlasted the other preachers and messiahs. Eli never wavered from his message and kept it the same no matter what was said about him.

He was called hick, because of his southern accent. Since he was from the south, then the jokes came flooding in about incest. He stood his ground and kept sticking to his message. Often, these so-called preachers or messiahs would retaliate and lose their character, but Eli let the trash talk hit him. He never changed his message nor did his demeanor change.

People began to realize Eli James wasn't another guy with a character. Eli was Eli.

Once people began to notice Eli actually lived out what he was saying, there became an uproar revolution to rise against him.

The Extreme Revolution came in and made a big impact. Their focus became clear: Eli James and his Congregation. They failed. LJ Havok quickly saw the light and became a member of Eli's Congregation, but Eli saw through the fake and ended Havok. Cam Lang tried his best to find people to join with him to end Eli, but he also failed.

Person after person, team after team, were failing. Eli's influence was gaining momentum and a common group of people refused to see it continue. Eli even conned his way into the feud among Shane and the Administrator, which resulted Eli becoming the new owner of the XWF. This is when the unthinkable happened. This is when the "When Hell Freezes Over" Moment took place. Enemies sided with each other to end Eli's reign as owner. The teams that opposed Eli, and those who joined with Eli made no sense. In fact, a lot of the groups featured 'when hell freezes over' collections.

Eli's Congregation was basically finished after that.

Eli walked himself into enemy territory, being the New World Order, and let them destroy him for everyone to see.. and with a smile. This wasn't an ordinary preacher. This was a guy people felt threatened by and wanted him gone.

Upon Eli's return, he took out Elisha and took the Trio Title Belts. His new teammates? A 'when hell freezes over' type of team: Azrael Erebus and the Dimallisher. People wondered how the three would work together, but they did, and did it successfully. Dimallisher claimed he led the team to victory, and Azrael went off to settle his feud with Sebastian Duke, Eli was left.

An old small television screen sits upon a dresser in a room that looks to be unkept and old. One window, which has no shades or curtain, is barely letting any sunlight in do it the dirt covering it. A small hand print is seen thanks to the piled up dirt that looks to have slipped from the middle of the window off toward the buttom. The floor is all wood, and a lot of it looks rotted. Showing on the television screen is highlights from the Leap of Faith pay per view's Main Event ending:

THE CLEANSING!”

James lands the move on Duke and Duke is out of it. Eli laughs some more before rolling the semi-conscious Universal Champion into the grave. On the other side, just a couple feet away, Azrael lays along the grave side opening.

Eli starts shoveling dirt into the grave. Little by little, dirt piles into the grave.

ELI JAMES: “NOOOOOWWWW, ISSS FOUUNDD!”

JOEY STYLES: “That crazed lunatic, Eli James! He's smiling and singing! Like its all sunshine and rainbows while he buries the King of Darkness!”

The referee looks down and as Eli shovels the dirt in, watches as Sebastian Duke is finally covered.

.............................

Duke climbs out of the grave as Eli James stops smiling.

Duke reaches out his hand to Azrael Erebus. Azrael hesitates, but eventually clutches Dukes hand. Duke lifts him up to his feet. He then reaches down and lifts up the Universal title and drapes it on Azrael's shoulder.

The camera pans out and it reveals Eli James sitting in a chair watching the television.

"Azrael. A man that has light within him. You've seen the darkness and the light. You've seen great men fall, and men who weren't in the spotlight rise to the occasion. You joined me in our Trio Title match when people thought we wouldn't be able to work together. We proved them wrong. You went on to fight Sebastian Duke and won. Congrats. You owe me a thank you. Heh. In all seriousness, Azrael, congrats on your win. You left me to go after your precious Universal Title and to settle the debt with Sebastian. You chose a path you should know where it leads. We were gonna have fun, then some girl wanted to peak in from around the corner and place herself into business she knows nothin' about. Heh.

She wants the spotlight on her, well, you have eyes on ya now. I would stay clear so we can finish our conversation we had prior to our Trio match. Remember that one, Azrael?

The truth is you know deep inside there's more to me than what everyone else has ever thought or said. You know there is a darkness and light in me that isn't like the rest. Don't become blind like them, man. Know the truth, Azrael. Maybe you can then talk some sense to Shelby Cobra, and encourage her to stay away. Speak in the calm spirit that you can do and maybe she'll listen to ya.

In the world of honesty, let's let it be known... every person has a weakness. You're no different Azrael. You love traditions. You travel.. you hold onto things.. you move here and there but you always return to the anchor. Heh. Everyone has traditions. Take a common one in the United States... one day a year people gather together at a location and shoot off fireworks in honor of independence. That day just happens to be coming up here soon. Some choose to drink themselves since the following day there's no work. People may enjoy drugs. It's a tradition people start and go along with. Sometimes, man, they change things but people love traditions. Traditions are a settling ship that never ventures out into the ocean to see what else is out there.

To explore my world.. you must leave your anchor and go into the unknown. That is where you'll find me. That's where you hear my voice and see my soul.

People who have been here too long go soft. They are afraid to move away. They hide in their closets waiting for mommy and daddy to come along and tell them everything is gonna be okay. Their mommy and daddy never come. They didn't come because they left. Nah. They never came to the aid because they did what their children are doing: settling. When you settle.. you stay... you starve.. and eventually you die.

Azrael... don't die. Don't settle. Venture out from your anchor. Mr. Satellite died because he was settled in. Supernova died because he became settled... in. You have a chance to do something that the past was unable to do, and that's go to the unknown and see what's out there. I saw it in your eye you wanted to explore, but something was holding ya. Fear? Family? Past? Something else. Who knows, Azrael... maybe the unknown is what ya need. A place where answers aren't so easy to find.. a place where solutions are not in front of your face.

I'll be waiting... don't disappoint.

We know what's at stake..."
