Honestly, ladies and dudenesses, from reading the RPs and getting to understand the characters, Warfare is absolutely stacked compared to Madness right now.

100% agree. I love all the different threads going on and I think with Madison and Gio at the helm it's just going to keep getting better. Duke will tell you, this place has come a long way since we made the jump over to these boards. Btw, Tony, dig your stuff man.

Yeah, it's pretty competitive over on Wednesday nights at the moment. I think both shows have had their high points and low points in the past though. Madness will bounce back. It always goes back and forth between the two as far as level of competition goes.

These matches are becoming very difficult to judge. There's probably no way I could judge them without Satty's help. What can you do if both writers impress the hell out of you? Brotherhood/Congregation, Santos/Eli, and Lake/Tyler were all close matches with Brotherhood/Congregation being the closest. As a GM, you strive to see everyone involved go forward as long as they put forth the effort. Mystica and Lake stood out to me as the two strongest writers who came up short that night, so I decided to include them in this week's main event. Callaway came out looking like a promising up and comer so I put her in it as well (also so she can prepare for what it will be like writing against Griffin and Duke).

I was surprised and happy to see Stevie Tyler cash in his two week X-Treme Title reign for a US Title shot. That's the way I'd like to see it happen rather than having to name a contender every two weeks through matches. I'm also trying to get the X-Treme Title defended every week. This will hopefully bring more importance to both titles (since the X-treme becomes harder to retain) and people will want to cash in their opportunity more often in order to avoid having to take the extra steps to meet with the US champion.

But yeah, good job everyone on your work so far. Next week's show is off to a good start just by looking at the RP boards.

Despite the lack of roleplayers posting this week for Madness, I do believe the quality is there on Madness. Sid, Evertrust, Luca, Satty, Nightmare, Griffin along with some of the up and coming writers like Steele, Aldway, Austin, Havok and just about everyone on the roster. The quality continues to improve on both shows, and I have to say that the XWF continues to grow at a staggering pace.

Just as a forewarning, wins are getting harder to come by because of the quality of the writers we have.

I've said it before and I'll continue to. The XWF is the place to be. John, Gio, Shane and I continue to try and evolve with your input as well as our own trial and error ideas. I think that makes it fun for everybody.

I like being on madness. I don't consider myself to be the best writer at the moment. But I feel that's what madness is mainly. A lot of up and coming people in efedding kind of like the starting grounds.

Madness isn't really a starting ground. It seems like that at times I'd imagine since a lot of the "big name" guys are usually sporadic with their weeks on weeks off kind of thing. So, as a result of that I tend to gear the shows most often around the up and comers such as yourself, Matt or the Connection guys.

Looks can be deceiving.

Yes, what Heyman said. I don't want people to get the idea that Madness is exclusive to new guys or anything, lol. Mainly because I would like Warfare to also be newbie-friendly.

The only difference between Warfare and Madness are the days they take place on. It all comes down to your guys' schedules and preference. Sometimes one show will get a batch of new guys who come in and are serious, other times it'll be a batch of flakes.

This is one of the best feds I have been in. I like it here and I'm not going anywhere! Every show has such a talented roster and the competition levels are staggering! Even with the newcomers you can see a lot of talent there and it will be interesting watching the characters grow with their experience.

Looks like we have some good ol' fashion brand Warfare Madness going on here. It could be fun to do some Madness vs Warfare cross-brand matches for brand bragging rights. Haven't you guys done something like that in the past?

When I first arrived here I thought that Shove-it > Madness > Warfare. I'm not sure why, since there were many good writers in every roster. It probably was because of the ratings. IMO, the roleplays were a lot better if they were for a *insert extreme match here* rather than a singles match or a triple threat on warfare or madness. But now that they kinda have the same ratings (except for Shove-It) I feel that all shows are just awesome.

Yeah, it was more of an observation (and a minor chance to brag about the awesome collection of talent that I was lucky enough to get thrown in to). I've only been an active member for a little over two months, so I'm sure these things are cyclical. People could randomly fall off the face of the face of the earth, my character could develop a debilitating pornography addiction, etc. These things happen.

I think rivalries are becoming more of a thing now and people really want to win so it encourages the highest standard of writing possible. This is all obviously down to everyone's hard work especially management. Keep if up.

If you set out to be liked, you would be prepared to compromise on anything at any time, and you would achieve nothing.

It's definitely ever changing. I think Warfare's recent removal of censorship has given it a slight boost in popularity and activity, and when you consider that it already was doing well beforehand, it explains the current peak. The other factor is that Wednesday Warfare is our only regular show that isn't on a Monday and some people don't like being booked on a Monday because they can't RP over weekends. With some people, if they have a match on Monday then they won't feel comfortable RPing early and leaving themselves open for attack all weekend long if they can't RP on the weekend. I also have a feeling Madness' roster has a couple more "part time" guys than Warfare does, which in itself would give the appearance of less activity since some of the high profile guys on Madness don't compete weekly.

All in all, I can't begin to give enough compliments to the guys running those shows because they're both taking on a life of their own and truly becoming something unique. If somebody gets tired of one show, they can jump to the other and notice a significant difference in a number of aspects that might not be obvious to the naked eye at first.

Kudos to all the hard workers on both shows! I'm proud to be in a fed where we're discussing which show is more popular this week/month instead of discussing why we can't get members to sign up. Smile

Yes, I have to add on here it's a real honor to be able to work behind the scenes like I'm doing now. The amount of sheer effort and talent you guys put forth week after week on Warfare is outstanding and all you Warfare Warriors should pat yourself on the back for that. I know I have sat there going back and forth from rps, even after I read them all and have been just stuck at a loss for who really should claim the win, because both parties did that well. It's a tough call, but I don't regret the position of making the call at all because I enjoy being placed in the role. This role has given me the opportunity to watch you all grow and develop as writers. I get to see you sprout your wings and fly so to speak and that's a phenomenal position to be in. Not to mention that I think I've been introduced to better writers here in the XWF than if I were to go and pick up a new novel down at the local bookstore. The entertainment from reading all these various amazing stories is something I truly enjoy.

That being said even though I am a manager on Warfare, that does not mean I will ever say Warfare is better than Madness. (At least not OOC, lol.) Both shows are different and both have some very heavy hitters. Since the amount of rps can fluctuate at any given time, it really isn't a solid way to judge which show is better. I mean I can recall back on Warfare when there'd be multiple matches with no showers for almost each match. I think that changed when we decreased the number of matches booked and started focusing more on booking people who responded to the actual booking thread. Since it's very hard to gauge who will no show and who will rp when it comes to new characters, I would advise new members to make an effort to reply to those booking threads, or contact us managers and this way we know your intentions.

Now as far as a Warfare/Madness 'bragging rights' matches go, I am absolutely inclined to go for this option. It was why I also loved the idea of Warfare being located in one specific location, ie the War Room in California. This makes it like California is now 'Warfare territory' in my opinion, lol. I really wanted to elaborate on this more by having several matches showcasing Madness members venturing to Warfare and vice versa, to face off in a Madness/Warfare feud. Stuff to encourage a possible PPV even. Although technically Warfare has an advantage to actually saying people are treading onto their home turf, since Warfare is always in the same location and actually has a home base and Madness jumps from place to place. Still the idea of an epic clashing of shows is something I really like and I hope it can eventually happen.

In closing - I love this fed and I'm proud to be involved behind the scenes with such a spectacular show like Warfare. Madison, Heyman, and Shane...you guys are amazing. XWFers you continue to impress me every week with your writing and I look forward to reading even more from you guys as time progresses. Thank you all for allowing me to be in this position and I will try my best to live up to the role and keep you all happy.

Every show has been amazing, since I have been here. This is the best fed I've been a part of for sure. I haven't had the chance to be a part of Shove It yet, but I will. the rumble at Madness was entertaining. The next Madness will be epic too im sure. And Warfare is, indeed, stacked. Even the lower card has drawn some intrigue..That Troy Turner and Joseph Kain match. They have really built a rivalry. I can't wait to read what happens...not only in that match but all of them. Warfare is going to be crazy.
