Well, I don't expect (or want) you to explain what was in the messages, as PMs should be kept private, in general.

However, I agree that people need to respond to PMs, even if they have little to say. To me, it's just respect and common courtesy. I don't mean to offend anyone, but Bryce is right, whether he's handling this correctly or not. It does often bother me to not get a reply.
