Frodo went and picked up Joseph Gordon, thanking Gwen for her aid in his escape. Once the pair were away from Gwen they went off to Big Boy and had a Big Burger, and some Spaghetti. After the meal Frodo pulled out his phone to call Zak.

"Hey, I wanna see you, and I've got my son with me. We're back in Michigan. Where are you?"

"Yeah, Joseph and I will head out that way. I don't see why we can't take a vacation. I want to see you because I miss you, and I like you. I want you to meet my son. Give us a few hours to pack some stuff and we'll be on our way." Frodo hung up the phone.

Frodo and Joseph got up, walked out to the car, started it and drove to get ready for their journey. As they were packing Joseph dropped a bomb on Frodo, not literally he's not a McBride.

"Dad was that your boyfriend on the phone?"

Frodo did not know how to answer, so he just loaded up the car and drove to Vegas in silence.

Frodo finally looked at the house behind Kain, this time his eyes growing wide.

Frodo spotted a near by chair and hid behind it to avoid answering the question.

I watched the scene unfold from the top of the stairs, my eyes rolling at Frodo's actions.

Kain, take the child into the kitchens. I'm sure there's still some ice cream. If not, have the cooks make him whatever he wants.

Frodo poked his head from around the chair as his son was being led away by Kain. The child's eyes were locked with my blood red ones and the size of plates.

Don't eat my daddy!

I chuckled and stood on the stairs, staring at Frodo, Real mature, Frodo.

My eyes stared at Frodo's hand as he slowly gripped my hand. He slowly moved closer until he was standing one stair higher than me.

Frodo kissed my back before getting out of bed. It was funny watching the man find clothes but he took off downstairs the minute he had jeans on. I waited until I head him talking on the phone before I let my glamour drop with a sick cough.

My eyes locked on the blackened flesh on my arm, biting back a hiss of pain as my bicep twitched. I knew this had to be from the powers I inherited but how could it be killing me? A soft knock on the window caused me to look up as see Marcus, my sire. He pushed open the window and touched my arm.

As I feared...

What?

Its a stigma. Your great grandfather had it too. It's what killed him in the end but...your dead...it shouldn't be an issue.

Now what?

Marcus stared at my arm before pulling out a knife and slicing into the darkest spot. Thick black blood oozed from the wound and he put some of it in a vial before healing the cut.

Let me do some digging and tests and I'll get you an answer. Frodo's coming back.

Marcus took off from the window and I pulled the glamour back on just in time for Frodo to walk back in.

I nodded and went to stand, hissing softly before landing on the bed. Frodo rushed over and gripped my bad arm, forcing another hiss. I pulled away for a moment before I looked at him.

Sorry...I'm still sore...

I smiled softly and laid back, Frodo crawling over me.

Frodo crawled by the vampire, and laid his head on Zak's chest. He could hear no heart beat.

I didn't know you were married. Was it to that Mandii? Maybe while you see her I'll take Joseph and Kain out for some food and what not. I hear In-N-out is supposed to be fantastic.

Frodo wrapped his fingers around Zak's. His hands were so such smaller than the Vampires.

I stood and started getting dressed, pulling my shirt on just as Frodo wrapped his arms around my waist.

A snarl escaped my lips and the window froze over in my anger.

I don't need your approval to do anything or see anyone, Frodo. You are more than welcome to stay in the house and be my lover but the minute you start acting like I need your approval, you're out. You're lucky I let you in my bed after what you said about Theo and you need for him to think you're cool.

I watched him flinch at my snarl. It was a weird feeling, acting on what felt like more wolf than vampire instinct but I just shook my head, grabbed my jacket and headed out.

Frodo grabbed Zak and pulled him back into the room. With Zak in the room he slammed the door shut.

Why are you being so pissy with me? I was teasing about it. I don't care if you go and see Alexandra, I'm not so jealous I can't let you see people you used to be involved with. Just like you can't stop me from seeing Gwen. The only thing I don't want is you lying to me about it.

Frodo leaned up and kissed Zak on the neck before turning and walking out of the room.
