One thing I noticed is I cut more traditional, old school wrestling promos whereas some others create like a whole soap opera back story... What do you think is best?

I think it all depends on how you write. If you write good promo style RPs, it's more entertaining than a boring story based RP and vice versa.

I won't bother with linking you but if you want to check out some great story based roleplays I personally recommend Mr Satellite, KnightMask, Crimson Cobra.
Darker work is usually done by Nightmare, Unknown Soldier that I really recommend.
Private message me if you want any more help with anything, tips or assistance. Like your work a lot. To improve just keep reading everyone else's work and it will help your own.

Thanks man, being new to this I'm not sure what the 'norm' is. I'll keep plucking away and see what happens.
What if I want to feud with another character? There's a perfect nemesis for The Janitor out there but surely we'd both want our characters to win?
