The Future of Savage - ALL READ AND RESPOND - Darius Xavier - 01-09-2019

So opt in's for Savage have been pretty pathetic the last few shows so we brought on a new GM to help us out. However the opt in for the next edition of Savage has no replies at all. So with that we are going to cancel Savage. How long the show is on the shelf for will depend on you all and what you say below in your replies.

Please be as open and honest with us as possible.

Why are the opt in's for Savage down?

Is the roster at a size where a bi weekly show is all we need?

Do people not want a weekly show?

Is Saturday/the weekend a bad time for a show?

Do people not want a show that has RP limits/word limits?

Was there an issue with Savage previously that kept you away from the show?

We want your feedback before the GM group meet's to determine next steps.

Additionally, if you didn't see this thread from Arnold Fletcher please give it a moment of your time.

I didn't realize there was a opt in for next week, had I seen it I would have jumped on it. I've always like Savage as it gives you the condensed option with RPs instead of having to potentially write 4-5 5k worded RPs on Warfare.

Maybe if the weekly show isn't working, move Savage to a bi-weekly as well while still keeping the small RP format. I dunno.

I would be more inclined to work Savage shows if they were bi weekly with the 3 rp limit in place. I like Warfare because of the fact that you have two weeks to rp. Normally rp limits aren’t even an issue on that show, so at the moment Warfare seems like the better option for someone who doesn’t have a lot of time to rp. That could change if Savage took on a bi weekly schedule, but also kept its rp limits in place.

Just my two cents on the matter. >.<

I would assume the reason that there's no responses for that particular thread is because you have the wrong date posted.
1-12-18
Not only is it a year off but the day is for a card that's already booked.
That was a tad confusing. It's also why I didn't opt in.
Anyway, with that being said. I dig Savage and like the option of having two shows. Perhaps taking a bi-weekly schedule might pick things up but as far as I'm concerned; weekly or bi-weekly, I'd still sign up either way.

Why are the opt in's for Savage down?
Maybe just site transitions

It’s a good concept with limits as are already in place, but why not I corporate possibly the Federweight/Heavymetalweight titles into the show and possibly grow some prestige for those as well as interest in the show, seeing as the Federweight belt formerly and should actually mean something.

Regarding the first thing you said Dillinger, that's a pretty big fuck up on my part. That has been corrected. So if people still want to opt in we will book a show. We will allow people to opt in through this Saturday. If there is still no movement we will cancel.

In the meantime, than you to the three of you who have responded, keep them coming.

Make it bi weekly

I really think it has a lot to do with the transition process, the holidays, then switching back to this site, reregistering characters, coupled with the size of the roster and lastly the confusion on the date. Quite a few folks seem to be returning though, so I'm sure things will pick up.
