My vote goes to Gator.
My alliance with him aside, this guy has been incredibly consistent week in and week out. TV Title defenses, Winning the Uni title from Morbid only to lose it via a cash in, and has done loads of work behind the scenes with banners and other duties. Lane and Doc have put out great content, but at least for my criteria, Gator stands out head and shoulders above the rest. His roleplays are right up there with the funniest and most entertaining I have read. Untouchable in Feb.

I have to vote Peter Gilmour. He's nothing if not consistent. He's mocked and laughed at by nearly the entire roster, yet he's still here doing the best he can do. In his bad weeks (and we all have them) he takes some tough losses. In his good weeks he can beat some of the best, including Vinnie Lane on shove it.

I'd have to go with G.F.K. I've enjoyed the character and the work he has done. Always entertaining if not a bit out there at times. He's had success and I think the way he kept people guessing as to who he was, was also entertaining to see play out.

I also feel like adding, I feel as if Lane's trash has gotten better, which was his weakest point. Not that he's ever been a weak competitor, but it was something he lacked in. It's been so much better, imo. That flight of Icarus was amazing. I died laughing at his Wallaby jokes on Austin.

Speaking of Gilly, he has my vote this month. Consistent every card and wins enough matches to keep him relevant. He's a staple for the fed and he deserves some recognition for his hard work day in and day out.

I'm torn. It's honestly (to me) between my three fellow Madness Quartet members. Not due to preference, but just due to what they've done this past month.
Vinnie Lane continues to produce some of the most entertaining RPs while holding true to his character.
Gator won the Universal title and defended his title flawlessly through the month. Also continues to be continually unique throughout the month.
Doctor D'Ville won the title based off an angle started in October. He also provided some of the most interesting reads of the month. Plus he won The Rumble this month.
Other nominees include Sebastian Duke, Justin Sane, and Goat Faced Killa.
Sebassy- Excellent work. And you did win the first Intercontinental Championship.
Sane - Always willing to chip in with banners and, as always, highly entertaining work that is can't miss. Also won the X-Treme Championship.
Goat Faced Killa - Innovative work that really had the public trying to guess your identity. I honestly wish you'd kept it a secret longer. Would've really messed with some people. (Myself included)
All of this being said, I feel the best answer is Gator. He won the Universal Championship, defended his Television Championship, and all around had some of my favorite RPs this month.

Not saying Sane was a bad recomendation because he is good BUT he did no show and he was GIVEN the title which is different than winning. Just saying
Ok a few things here.
First you've been around long enough to know that making statements like that is not what these threads are for.
Second, he was given the title via a segment he wasn't just handed the title because. Two of the Madness GM's had brought up the idea that after taking the title from Doc that the runner up of the IC tournament be given the X title. The rest of the GM's agreed unanimously. Including Shane.
Thirdly, whether he was given a title, or whether he earned it, which just to be clear here he did earn it, has nothing to do with whether someone is deserving of being the SOTM.
Fourthly, it is not your job to criticize other people's votes. Especially when you voted the way you did. Which was basically no vote at all.

My vote, honestly, has to go to Lane. Great stuff, week in and week out. Like Frodo said, that Flight of Icarus RP was, like, godly. I'm serious, that was some great stuff. IMO, he also would have won the Rumble had Lady Luck given him a better spot.
An honorable mention goes to Doctor Louis D'Ville. Like Lane, great stuff, week in, week out, not to mention, practically no one suspected the fake Higher Power twist (Even me! And I have an alternate character in the Asylum!), and the cash- in. I just got to put Lane in front of D'Ville in here, because I'm really surprised Lane hasn't won SOTM yet.

I know this is going to seem like a bullshit vote since no one else mentioned him, and also because the handler is voting for me.... but my honest opinion is that Pest should get considered, due to his vast character dynamics and the level of work he's put up against some of the best competition we've got.
I sincerely thought he might walk away with either the X-Treme or the Prophetic title when he had those matches, and that's saying quite a bit. Plus, he's just evolved in a really fascinating way from the scummy pedophile he started out as. It's interesting to me when a character starts as just a caricature and develops into something more; it's similar to what I try to do with Vinnie in that way.
So yeah, him.
I'd say the other logical choices are Gator and Doc, but I always try to spread the wealth and not repeat recent winners. (No, it's not an official rule or anything, I just prefer to vote for newer candidates.)
